This store is lying to its customers. They adjust the colour of cheaper models to make the more expensive models look like it's much better. On the pictures here it's clear that the cheaper model's saturation is set much lower. This has to be against the consumer protection act in some shape or form. I hope other prudent customers see the same as I did and rather buy from a different store that does not lie to its customers.

This is a huge store with anything from groceries, house ware, hardware, stationary, computers, hi fi systems, tv's and items for your garden, office, camping etc. This is one stop shopping on extreme level.

The person who is friendly is Gugu and the lady on switch board. Gugu is the one who is helping me with the order...

Fast moving queue, good deals, my only issue is that they seem to run out of stock on weekends in the toiletries section. Variety of sensodyne, kotex, sanex lines is limited.

Went to the store to sort out an online order got no joy yet with them the customer really does not come first and heaven forbid you would need a refund I have now been struggling more than two months and after a store visit today STILL NO JOY Fair warning to all dont buy appliances online that comes with a warranty their promises are all empty

On the 14/4/2023 I want to buy some stuff. At the entrance some coward workers block it and one small worker witth classes run with a big rock towards me and in foul language shput at me to f..off. other shoppers also make a u turn. Sorry Makro that u hire those workers. U never see me again

When getting at home busy unpacking and comparing slip with what was taken there are items on the slip that was scan twice instead of once. Lost almost R1500 due to this and when trying to contact the branch where purchase was made you get place on hold for 20 to 30 min with no response. This problem has been resolved with Makro management at the branch and they refunded the incorrect charges. Thank you Promise from Makro.

Was at the electronic section today13:15 looking for dash cams. Walked around looking for service/ sales person. They can be seen chatting to each other totally oblivious of customers. Obviously management and training are lacking.

The staff there are fantastic and so helpful. And being a senior citizen I was given such a great discount on the purchase of my new TV

Be selective at the time that you go to this store as it can get very busy. Luckily the tills is quick and efficient. This is a one stop shop where you can find almost everything. They do have good specials, so know your prices.

The most pathetic RETURNS POLICY ever. Our 600W USB power pack lasted 4 days then no longer took a charge. We returned it to be met by a floor manager named DC Francis who gave us this story. "Sorry Mam, we have to send this back to ??? for assessment before we can replace or issue a credit." To which I replied...I have to have the replacement now...it is for our Hotel and it drives the GUEST WIFI during loadshedding....we will have a full lodge over Christmas/New Year with guests wanting to do their usual Happy Christmas/NEW YEAR wishes over the internet." "Sorry Mam....UNFORTUNATELY (then read above for the same reply) Imagine the training these managers get! All they have to learn to qualify for the job at MAKRO is "SORRY MAM...UNFORTUNATELY WE MUST SEND THIS BACK FOR ASSESMENT." then they're fully trained and good to go until retirement. PATHETIC MASSMART...GO AND LEARN SOMETHING FROM WALMART...MAYBE THEY CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO HANDLE RETURNS.

Shocking service. Asked for help to find out an item that says it's in stock online. The lady very unhelpful and would not stop to listen to what I was saying.

Makro has an accounting program that they sell. Manufactured by 4POS. This product is sold only at Makro's. It is not sold anywhere else. This is very interesting, of course. If it was a really good product, other stores would sell it too! 4POS accounting software and equipment are really cheap. But it's a trap. After purchasing the system from MAKRO, you need to contact 4POS company to activate it. I guarantee you will never see such arrogant, rude customer service in your life. 4POS sells software very cheaply, then when you call for support, they charge 950-RAND for half an hour! You pay the money, but they do not take care of you with their uncaring attitude. They are being very rude. They never respond on time, and they immediately cut off the call at the slightest objection. They immediately cancel the session. If you don't want to pay money and humiliate yourself, stay away from this company! Stay away from them if you don't want to be disgraced with your money. They are very rude. Stay away, don't fall into their trap!

Arrogant and stubborn workers, not wiling to help customers even to check the price of item. customer must carry a 9kg washing powder bag to the scanner just know the price which was not displayed.

I had a bad online shopping experience with them... I didn't receive my order and each time I call they claim it's with the courier which they organized and they refuse when I want tonpick up myself and now it's been a week waiting after delivery day passed... now I want my refund they also refuse. I wouldn't recommend their online shopping to anyone, they are bunch of thieves. Don't even deserve 1 star.

Customer Service is awful and the Makro card system is inconvenient, We had stand in a qeue for half an hour just to be told you need a Makro card for any purchase, atleast a lady lended her card for us otherwise we wasted alot of time, and when we tried exiting we were told to go to a different exit where we had to stand in another qeue for even longer

Great place to shop as they have a really large selection of most products. Shelves are fully stocked and there are enough helpful staff.I have to compliment Makro on their online website. It is extremely user friendly. The service is also incredible. I have placed 2 orders recently and they have both arrived the following day although they give you a 2- 6 day window. They also send a mail as soon as its packed and the courier has accepted it. You are kept in the loop all the time. Really impressive.

I was helped in Makro by a sweet caring security guy named Munzani I would definitely recommend him to be employed as a salesman.He was friendly caring and so supportive and helpful.Makro nelspruit is so lucky to have such a wonderful person on there staff.The cashier was also so helpful and friendly I really love Makro Nelspruit.
