A magical place for yoga! I completed my 300 hours training here and I'm very happy with that decision. Great teachers and a very committed staff that is very attentive to the students make this school a wonderful place of silence, peace and learning on all levels. The vegetarian/vegan cuisine is varied and a delight, although I was missing a vegan milk option for breakfast, but that seems to be generally difficult in Nepal. The school is located in nature away from the city, which is still within easy walking distance. You can relax very well in the garden, jump into the beautiful and lovingly maintained pool and of course practice yoga with a view of the valley and the lake. In short: If you are looking for an inspiring place of peace and transformation for your yoga training, you have to come to Pokhara Yoga School. Thanks for everything and to everyone!

I had a 10 days retreat in the school to refresh my knowledge on yoga. It was truly amazing!! ✨ Classes: scheduled from morning to evening with lots of self practice and reflection time. Teachers🧘🏾‍♂️🧘🏾‍♀️ are knowledgeable and expertise in every area. They are so passionate to answer to any questions raised. Love the sunrising yoga class that all teachers and students went out, sang, chanted like a picnic time! Accommodation: super clean. Staff would clean your room swiftly upon your request. Super comfy bed & Hot shower💦. (You need it after classes) Unlimited supply of drinking water and herbal tea. Food: all kind of fresh food and vegetables 🥒🍅🍆that are super sweet. LOVE THE MANGO! 🥭Buffet style which I could pick anything in any portion upon my appetite. Staff are so attentive to our dietary that they provide vegan, gluten free or even adjust the🌶️ spicy level!! Location: 15 minutes of walk to city center. It is so peaceful to stay there with stunning lake views. It was a really homecoming experience and thank you all the beautiful souls in the school 🥹🤍

I am just done with my 300hr, it was such a great experience beyond than I expected. Yoga teachers are very experience in all aspect theory, adjustment as well as they shared their porsonal experience. Sid, Himanshu, Neha and Rishi are amazing. The room is clean, the surrounding also very serene to practice. Foods also lots of varieties and the people really served with heart. I would really recommend this place for teacher training or retreat.

I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at this school and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience. The school’s staff, location, environment, and community are incredible. The program was challenging, demanding, and rewarding. All of the instructors are very gifted and knowledgeable about the practice and history of yoga. They were very dedicated to helping you learn and grow. I gained many tools to continuously grow my practice and keep learning from them. We were given delicious and nourishing foods which kept my energy high. The rooms were very comfortable, and the shalas in the space were lovely! I really enjoyed meditating and doing solo practice in the balcony or in the garden. I felt immersed in a pocket of nature while at the school. They organized thoughtful programming and a lovely day trip. We had a great community of people who supported and uplifted one another, as well as held each other during challenging and healing moments in the program. The schedule and course itself was intense and demanding. I pushed myself quite hard. I would consider your readiness physically / mentally / emotionally before going into something like this. Some teachers are more challenging than others and you get exposed to different teaching styles. For me, the program was the perfect fit and transformative. I can’t recommend it enough!

I cannot say enough about this school. 10/10, A+, life changing experience. The yoga teachers are incredible and pushed my understanding of myself and my practice so deeply. The location is pure paradise, a quick walk away from lakeside Pokhara and it’s vibrant international community of trekkers and locals alike. The food is amazing. Vegetarian delights cooked using crops from the farm on site. The rooms are incredible; this school is run like a resort. Anybody who has some experience with yoga and wants to deepen their practice and learn how to become a teacher needs to come here! You will not regret it; I guarantee.

Very good yoga school. Just completed 200h ytt. The teachers are very nice, the food is delicious and the stuff very helpful. I can recommend it to anybody starting a yoga career or journey. Also, the pool is a plus on a hot morning;) I especially enjoyed the hatha classes. Ashtanga was way too advanced for me. So, for those who love Ashtanga, i can really recommend. The teachers were both from Rishikesh and Nepal. Peaceful place. Not quiet due to the sound of the nature. Buffaloes, roosters, crickets, wild dogs;)

Pokhara Yoga School creates a very special experience. From the moment of arriving, you feel the magic of this place. Everyone gives so much care and love to make sure that the students are having a good time. The location is calm and surrounded by nature, yet you can quickly reach Pokhara Lakeside. All teachers are very skilled in sharing their deep knowledge in their own unique way. I have not only gained a deeper understanding of yoga, but also of myself. With dedication to the daily classes, there's so much to receive back. Thanks to the school and the great teachers!

This Yoga School/Hotel is a place I hold dearly in my heart. The owner, Binod, is a very caring individual with a vision to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. That vision materialises in the form of accommodation which is, frankly, straight out of a postcard. The school is nestled in the mountains and you with wake up to the sound of eagles, rice farming and buffalo. It offers a view of the lake which (in my opinion) is just as breathtaking as places like Como Lake in Italy, or the emerald sea of Bodrum, Turkey. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I had some problems with my shower early on and Binod did not hesitate to give me another room. There are also laundry facilities available, which are convenient. The food is also nutritious and tasty, and always served with a smile and a loving heart. My sincerest thanks to the whole of the kitchen staff and hotel management. Lastly, if you are interested in the yoga school, the teachers are absolutely excellent. They are knowledgeable and very generous with their time. If I could rewind time, I would! Do not hesitate to book what would be a highlight of your life!

I completed the 6-day retreat at in January, and I can't recommend this place enough! The entire experience was truly amazing and transformative. The team at the school hosted me in the best way possible, making me feel welcomed and supported from the moment I arrived. The food was absolutely delicious and healthy, and there was ample time to explore outside of the school. The team was always available to help me with any questions or concerns I had, making me feel completely at ease throughout my stay. But most importantly, the yoga classes were truly exceptional. The instructors were knowledgeable and experienced, and I learned so much in just a week. I felt like a new person by the end of my stay, and I'm so grateful for the positive impact this retreat has had on my life. In addition to the amazing yoga classes and beautiful location, I also had the opportunity to meet and get to know amazing humans from different countries. This was an unexpected bonus that made my experience even more special. Overall, I can't recommend Pokhara Yoga School enough. If you're looking for a transformative yoga experience in a beautiful location with an amazing team, this is the place for you. Thank you so much to Binod, the lovely hosting family and the Pokhara Yoga School team for an unforgettable experience!💗🙏 Namaste

I have completely this yoga teacher training in Jan. 2023 and am very pleased with the experiences and results. The yoga school is really taking care of their students, regarding almost all the aspects. The staffs are friendly and they can always sense students' needs and provide immediate assistant. The food is amazing, delicious and abundant. So, you should not worry about getting hungry or lacking of nutrition at all (me personally, I had this concern before the training). The location is not very far from the city, in the middle of the mountain, with a beautiful lake view. You can enjoy the sunshine during most of the daytime. The teacher training covered a wide range of topics, from the yoga philosophy, pranayama, poses and techniques, to concepts such as meditation, anatomy and the art of teaching. The teachers were knowledgeable and passionate about their subject and were able to provide clear and helpful guidance throughout the course. Moreover, I appreciate that all the teachers are very punctual according to the schedule. Overall, I have learned a lot from this teacher training and become much more confident of my own yoga practice and also being myself as a yoga teacher. Highly recommended to other students.

Wonderful 200hour YTT! All of the yoga teachers were knowledgeable, committed and very supportive throughout my three weeks. They made the experience so special for me. I am so so grateful for their kindness and support in this journey and really enjoyed spending time with them. Bhagwan and his team always have amazing food ready and the double room was lovely with a view over the pool and a shared small terrace area. I think the yoga course is competitively priced considering the level of teaching and service you get.

Hands down the best Yoga school for several reason. Pokhara itself is a beautiful place & this location is on the mountainside over looking Fewa lake. The owner, the teachers, the classes, the food, the accommodation, the experience and my classmate were all the reason to make this place one of the best. The teachers are so patient, classes are challenging enough for vets & simple enough for newbies. The class material is just enough info to learn in 3 weeks time for the 200 hour training. You will leaving knowing more about Yoga outside of the classroom. The food is delicious & served 3x daily. You're allotted an off day to rest OR tour Pokhara & all that it has to offer. Try to find time to rest on the off day though. You will not regret signing up & its very affordable. I was blessed to have 20+ amazing individuals in my training group & we ALL connected as one BIG family! April Class of 2022! <3 <3 <3

I did my 300H YTT here. The place is amazing, full of beautiful energies with a wonderful view on Fewa Lake. There are a lot of plants and flowers which make the place a really peaceful environment surrounded by nature. The food is really good, the service is perfect, and I loved my room (I had a private room). As for the Yoga Training, I learned a lot and I am beyond greatful for the teachers who were really talented and full of knowledge. I don't regret my choice of choosing this school. Thanks again for this unforgettable experience. See you again

I spent the most amazing three plus weeks at Pokhara Yoga school doing my 200hrs in December. Everything was arranged so thoughtfully from A to Z and I was well taken care of to fully focus on the training. Though the training was intense, we received so much help to guide us through each steps. Our teachers were experts and dedicated to helping each students no matter what level you come from. Some of us have injuries and they took the time to work with us and gave helpful advice for us to continue to work on it. Change is not easy but with each passing week I could feel physical and mental improvement. If I could have one wish, that is just let me stay here and keep doing this for ever. It is such a wonderful place for healing, physically and emotionally no mater at what place you are in life. It’s a wonderful sign to see also many returning students and this is all a journey, and each person is on their own journey and you can keep working to get better and better. I love the friendship made on this journey and I’ll forever remember this special time we all took out to spend and grow together here. Thank you Pinau for building such a wonderful place and always were there to help. Amina… thank you for all the wonderful food you made us. Vegan will never be the same again. Thank you everyone for always paying attention, always making the time to listen and care deeply. And lastly but most profoundly Ashook and Himanshu…. I heart you guys always and I will keep on working at it to make you proud. Good teachers make a difference but great teachers change lives. Thank you for everything from the bottom of Australia :) This experience has been more than a yoga retreat for me. It was one of the best things I ever did for myself. If you’re wondering or on the fence, seriously just do it. You will thank yourself later. I totally lucked out on Nepal and Pokhara yoga school. With love always, Shelly
