This is the first coffee shop I went in Nepal and it is also my favorite! The coffee is no doubt very tasty and with the perfect amount of strength that I’m looking for to kick off my day. On top of good coffee, the staff here are both professional, knowledgable and super friendly. I enjoyed both chatting with them or just watching them make the coffee. Also…. good taste of music. All in all, I love Nako! If I ever come back to Pokhara, you know where to find me :)

The most wonderful place in Pokhara where they make the most delicious coffee! If you appreciate good grain and like to drink black coffee of different varieties, this is the place for you!) The guys will brew a wonderful funnel and warm you with their hospitality! :)))

Best latte in town . Decoration is industrial style which is seldomly seen in Pokhara. Music choice is top notch. They played ambient, post rock etc Thank you for the sweets. I needed it for so long because of bad day. You are the angel 👼🏻!!

We went like a week straight for drinking coffee and playing chess every morning. We tried: americano, espresso, cold peach tea, lemon tea. All of them were amazing. They have books to read and some board games too. The guys that work there are so kind and cool. We really bond with one of them, he played really good music (so good that I actually saved his Spotify playlist). If you are a music, coffee and game lover this is a very good place to chill.

AMAZING SPECIALTY COFFEE STORE WHICH IS DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT (by Melbourne Standards)! As a coffee enthusiast from Melbourne I was intrigued to see that coffee was being grown in Pokhara, however most of the production is geared towards commercial grade consumption and the cafe’s in town are serving the same quality. I was super excited to find Nako, a cute small cafe serving specialty coffee in the form of both espresso and pour-over filter - being run by a local Nepalese man who’s passionate about specialty coffee! There were a number of beans to choose from: one from a local Nepalese farm and the others from better known international regions (South America/Africa). The coffee was brewed to perfection -with great care. The cafe has seperate grinders for both filter and espresso. They also make their own water by using distilled water and adding third wave coffee water minerals to it. I had the pour over filter coffee which they used an origami brewer for - it was delicious! The owner was the nicest guy and was very knowledgeable about coffee. He was very welcoming and we had a great chat. It’s obvious that he’s passionate about what he does. I can’t recommend this place enough and sincerely hope that the cafe achieves the success it deserves!
