My
partner
and
I
did
an
8
day
/
7
night
yoga
immersion
retreat
together
at
the
beginning
of
November.
We
stayed
at
one
of
the
private
cottages,
meaning
that
we
had
our
own
double
room
with
a
bathroom.
We
were
very
happy
with
our
room,
the
surroundings,
the
food,
the
staff
and
the
cute
dogs!
We
also
loved
the
more
holistic
approach
to
yoga
as
a
practice
consisting
not
only
of
physical
exercise
but
also
meditation
and
breathing
techniques.
We
got
a
lot
of
inspiration
for
the
yoga
and
meditation
we
do
at
home.
My
personal
favourite
was
the
sound
healing
session.
We
felt
that
the
level
of
the
yoga
classes
was
best
suited
to
beginners
who
have
done
some
yoga
before
as
some
of
the
teachers
did
not
explain
the
postures
much.
The
teachers
are
very
knowledgeable
but
understandably,
our
retreat
was
a
little
too
short
for
them
to
be
able
to
explain
it
all
in
much
detail.
For
anyone
wishing
to
learn
more
about
the
spiritual
aspects
of
yoga,
the
yoga
teacher
training
would
be
the
better
choice.
As
mentioned
in
the
other
reviews,
people
come
and
leave
everyday.
I
understand
this
because
many
travellers
in
Nepal
plan
their
itinerary
on
a
short
notice.
Of
course
it
also
means
that
the
level
of
the
classes
stays
the
same
throughout
the
week
and
that
many
don't
get
a
proper
introduction
after
arriving.
We
were
lucky
as
we
arrived
together
with
about
10
others
on
the
same
programme
so
we
got
a
little
introduction
in
the
evening.
Perhaps
limiting
the
arrival
days
to
2-3
per
week
and
giving
a
proper
introduction
to
all
newcomers
would
be
a
good
compromise.
That
being
said,
we
really
enjoyed
our
time
here
and
would
definitely
recommend
Atmashree!
Thanks
to
Mantra,
Surya,
Sanjay
and
the
rest
of
the
team.
