I stayed for 11 days at this hostel in June. The breakfast and housekeeping service is extraordinary. The owners are super friendly and supportive. The location is at a very convenient place. The tourist bus stop pickup is just few minutes away. The neighborhood has some of the best restaurants around like yangling restaurant. I highly recommend this place. It is one of the best hostels I have stayed in my travel.

Janaki is an amazing host very friendly with great language skills and incredibly accommodating! The hostel is large and can sleep many people. Breakfast dinner and tea options and good access to the bus station thankyou for my stay

When I arrived in Nepal, Kathmandu I met stayed at BnB Royal tourist I met the owner Janaki he was super nice and welcoming!, I came back 4 weeks later and I can confirm he is by far the best host, him and his wife work close together and they both made me feel so welcome, i felt like a part of his family. I got given the ground floor double room suite it was really nice!, he made sure I was happy with my room I was super clean and the beds were soooooo comfy I slept like a queen on both occasions and the most delicious breakfast was amazing cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend for anyone travelling to Kathmandu and wanting a warm welcome!

Had a great experience both times staying here. Janaki is an amazing host, super helpful, great knowledge of the local area, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are lovely & clean and the breakfast is also fantastic. Looking forward to staying again on my way back home.

Best place to stay in Kathmandu! Very friendly and welcoming couple. Janaki was very helpful and even gave us a list of basic Nepalese greetings to learn. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!

A great experience, lovely hosts! We wanted to go hiking and was not sure of how to approach it and Janaki provided full details of going to Nagarkot which had an incredible view. Customer service is really important to me over room quality and the service was incredible, really respectful people. Rooms were what you’d need for a Hostel.

The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff were really accommodating and attentive and the food was amazing! The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and also recommended things for us to do in Kathmandu and places to eat. We also had to leave for the airport at 5am and the owners woke up at 4am to make sure we had breakfast and were okay. I completely recommend staying here, I wish I could have stayed longer.

The BnB Royal Tourist House has been an amazing experience to finish a month stay in Nepal. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Janaki was also kind enough to wake up at 4am to provide breakfast before departing. Overall, the staff were very kind and accommodating and I would recommend staying here when visiting Nepal.

The lady and her husband run this place. She is SO sweet and helped us with so many things. It is quiet and serene, and the breakfast was nice, mattresses very comfortable. Five stars especially for the price!
