I so loved the time that I spent at this beautiful, cozy and quaint place. The restaurant is run by monks of the adjoining Monastery. They are always ready to help and interact with thr customers. The foods served is great and tastes great. The view from thr restaurant is great and is good for taking photographs. Location wise this place is very convenient. I loved this place and would definitely visit again.

5 🌟 for Cafe staff, food and location. Apple pie and ☕️ were 😋 and just 100/- for both. Well maintained and hygienic. Emaho souvenirs are also available. Don’t forget to visit shop just below this cafe having tshirts and items inspired from tibetan culture.

The tiny cosy place you will wish for a beautiful view of the Rewalsar Lake. Tasty pies , cakes and yummy shakes add to the environment of the cafe. Open air sitting options are also available. P.S - It is situated at the entrance of the Lake Park of Rewalsar.

Very clean and decent place overlooking rewalsar Lake, it's on first floor and has seating outside and indoor as well. The owner and staff was very courteous and smiling personality. You should must visit this place whenever you visiting rewalsar and it's not costly even..

Emaho cafe operates on the grounds of Drikung Kagyud monastery which has no Google maps entry as of now. The cafe has the best coffee in town with freshly ground beans and double shots upon enquiry. We stayed in Drikung Guesthouse which is mainly managed by the Emaho barista guy, a simple structure, images attached, hot water on left tap after one bucketful. The Drikung Monastery mainly is small boys in robes looked after by very few, if at all, adults.

Probably the nicest place to hang out in Rewalsar. The tea is great and have a few snacks. The person who runs the café is super kind. It also has a water refill station!

A cafe overlooking Rewalsar Lake and it might be one of the places which offers food with a nice view. I ordered yak-cheese veg sandwich, carrot cake, blue-berry lemon cake, banana pancake with coffee & tea. Yak-cheese is far better than usual processed cheese but it may not be much likeable to many palates. Cakes are their speciality and somehow they justify it.

The boy working at the cafe who also deals with room booking has some problem. We waited for three hours to get two rooms, when i said toilets weren't clean, the guy said toilets are clean (they were not but perhaps he doesn't know what clean means), and then very rudely asked us upon checkin tell me straightforward how many days you need. i said one and that for tomorrow we would tell the next day. but he was being rude and then said only one day we would give. these guesthouses though run on this system that you take for a day and can keep extending, the boy it seemed have a problem with us. maybe he thought we wouldn't extend, he would have to get the rooms cleaned the next day again, and so decided to refuse us so he could give to other customers (there had been enquiries in front of us) who would stay longer. If he didnt have to give us rooms, why did he make us wait for three hours? You would expect a monastery to have peaceful and gentle staff who would be as nice as you are. but clearly we were wrong.

From others reviews, it seems this place is famous and makes tasty food. However when we went both in evening and closing, the staff were very slow, opened late and reluctant to serve us . There was still a good 45 mins before closing time. I don’t know but we felt the service was ‘cold’ and ended up not eating Here :( Next time

Merveilleux :-) Such a nice, laid back and idealy located place. Whether you're a plant, a dog or a biped, you'll enjoy it. The food is not only tasty and veggie, it is healthy and affordable. You can also buy environmental friendly souvenirs : nice tibetan handicrafts or some postcards. (Oh and please leave me a bit of carrot cake or banana cake !)

We really enjoyed this laid back cafe. The owner made a special effort to prepare us some food that was vegan. He said that he felt bad because he would normally put good cheese on it, but honestly, we enjoyed it very much. A great space and friendly service. Apparently, their rooms are good too and the location couldn't be more perfect. The pug was a bit too cute
