A hidden gem in Matheran!! A small but clean and wonderful place highlighting Maratha history and life story of Shivaji. Surprised that this place is not highlighted in any tour guides. We need these historical episodes and stories be showcased in bigger museums across cities. Visit to this museum was a highlight of my trip .

It's a awesome place and must visit. Spend some time too to visit this museum. The person who is attending to visitors the best one. Once you enter he will guide you too about that museum.Bring your kids there to show this museum and to know great history of "Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj".As you taking time to visit other points, take time for this place also. Charges are very nominal its just 10 rs mad no age bar.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial Museum is located in Matheran, Maharashtra. It was a great tribute to great maratha leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is about 4.41 kilometers away from the Matheran railway station & near to Echo Point Road. So, great to see such an historical preserved place . Felt glorious about knowing Maharaj's history. Experiencing ornaments war equipment's was one the best moments. Tickets price is just 20 rupees. Must visit.

Aap log points visit karo ya na karo but this place Iis must must must visit place. The feeling is different when you visit the place see the read the stories of Chhatrapati. The entry fee is 10 rs a small museum there are 3 rooms only but worth visiting. Please do visit it.

Situated at Echo point the stories engraved on the murals take you back to the Marathi era that Shivaji Maharaj visualised and brought into reality. One can see the replica of swords, Canons and armor used during that time. The entry fee is a nominal of Rs.10 per person.

The ticket price is just 10rs and you can take photos/videos without any restriction. Well maintained place. The museum deserves a much bigger space.
