I would not recommend visiting this hotel as the location is not near the main path it is inside a chawl system. Its is lodge and not hotel like feeling at all. There is a gutter next to the hotel on the west side. To go to the main path, there is a lot of upslope. There is no place to play other than inside lodge. The rooms are good compared to the surrounding. The food provided is actually ordered from another hotel nearby. Not worth the price at all.

The place was near and clean with AC rooms and good ventilation. The service was good with the owner recommending us places to visit. The staff was also very friendly. The location is a bit offbeat among the residential, but the owner himself came to pick us up, which is an added point. Overall, recommended if you are staying in Matheran!

I had a wonderful experience at The President House Hotel Matheran.The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. We had wonderful experience at hotel president Staff is very friendly Rooms are very clean and hygiene was maintained at the property This hotel is near to matheran station... You can go with your family and friends.. place is safe and best part owner is very helpful He use to arrange fun activities for guest... We enjoyed magical show, carrom playing and late night music

Had booked the place for 2 days and gotta say it was amazing. Breakfast was on time. Also the the care taker is very friendly and was helpful throughout the trip. 10000% recommended
