Same as the name here you get the paneroma view of the matheran hills. One of the good point of Matheran hil station don't skip this point for visiting. For reaching this point first you have to reach heart point through walking or hours rigind or hand driving trolies. Form Heart point there was stairs for the Panaroma points you can reach for there. If you you have something etable items in your hand. monkey will easily take it form you so beware of it.

One of the best points of Matheran hill station, the views from the point are totally awesome. Do NOT skip this point, visit it first with fresh set of legs as one side walk from the start till the view point will take around 25-30 mins depending on the walking speed and videos/photos you take on your way to the point. The way to Panorama point starts from the Dasturi car parking area itself therefore you can visit this point even before buying the entry ticket to Matheran. If you are lucky can get good glimpse of the toy train making it's way up to Matheran from the view point. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes on your visit to Matheran.

Best point in matheran . As the name suggests you get panaromic view . Beautiful spot to see sunrise . Short trek from MTDC and then you get this beautiful view. Lifetime experience. Nature , sunrise and everything was perfect. Do not forget to visit this point when in Matheran. After visiting this point we were totally in love with Matheran and its beauty. Try to go when there is full moon you can witness sun and moon as we did.

For some of the best Matheran sightseeing, you need to come and experience this beauty. The best time to be here is during the monsoons. It attracts people with its panoramic view of the place. Photographers are very much in love with it due to the vibrancy of colours available here and is one of the best places to visit in Matheran. The spellbinding view of the rising sun is sure to steal your heart away. The spilling colours in the sky as the day unfolds will ease up your mind and take all that stress away. There's no way you should skip it.

We visited early morning at panorama point. It was a nice experience. The pathway to this point is wellbuilt with tiles and you will have no problem walking here. Try going early morning here. We started at 5AM from our stay and stayed there untill sunrise. It is around 4KM from market area. Be aware of leeches and carry a small bottle of choona or salt to be careful.

This point has the highest Natural beauty in the Matheran, but one has to awake early and reach there before 6:00 am. Surrounded by Valleys and other mountains has the totally different view of Sunrise which one can remember through years. Cold Wind Blowing at very much high speed, you can clearly hear its sound, so be ready with your warm cloths.

One of the best spot in matheran You can visit matheran at any season Mostly you should go on rainy and winter season for awesome views Panaroma point is near to dasturi check naka, if you reach at matheran then directly go to panaroma point don't go to hotel if your hotel is near matheran railway station, because it is too far from matheran railway station around (8-10km) From panaroma point you can see vikatgad(Peb fort) and kadyavarcha ganapati The awesome view from panaroma point will give you relax feeling Must visit here if you are visit matheran

This view point is awesome. Matheran is a hill station, near Mumbai, in the west Indian state of Maharashtra. It’s known for its mild climate and well-preserved colonial architecture. Motor vehicles are banned and many visitors arrive by narrow-gauge railway on the 1907 Neral–Matheran Toy Train. The Panorama Point lookout offers views across the mountains of the Western Ghats. Louisa Point has views of waterfalls and the ancient Prabal Fort. As motor vehicles are banned here so either you need to take ghoda gadi or need to walk. Also ghoda gadi is too much costly, they were asking 1100 to 1600 for one person and it was only for 3 to 4 places.

Awesome place to watch sunrise and sunset ,provide a wide view of the neral city and the dams constructed near it , not advisable to visit in the afternoon as the sun light might burn you but open air has strong current and feels cool, just make sure to carry enough drinking water as there are no shops or any place to buy and things on the way and is also a bit far away from the rest of the points in Matheran

The most beautiful point of Matheran with amazing accessibility. Panorama Point is an amazing point in Matheran and you shouldn't miss it. 1. Location: It is located at a distance of about 2 kms from the Dasturi Point. It would roughly take 45 mins from Dasturi point to reach the Panorama Point. You have to pass through the parking and walk straight. Proper direction boards are available from parking. 2. The Way: The locl administration has done an amazing job and the entire route from Dasturi Parking upto the Panorama Point is paved with Paver Blocks. This has made this point more accessible. There are benches placed at 500 meters intervals so that you can rest in between. The inclination on the route isn't much and the trek is very easy. 3. Scenic Beauty: Keep a watch on the left side to witness amazing scenaries on the way. You can view the Gadeshwar Dam, Mathera Railway Narrow Gauge Tracks and Kadyavarcha Ganpati. 4. Facilities at the point: There is a good sitting area right at the panorama point and a small garden which is not greatly maintained. No food stalls are available at this point and hence make sure you carry enough food and water. 5. Best Season to Visit: The Best Season to visit Panorama Point would be after the rainy season as you would be able to see all the great scenaries along which wouldn't be possible during rainy season due to fog. If you want to experience amazing walking experience in Matheran, visit this point in the rainy season. It is a blissful feeling in rains. 6. How to Plan: As the only way to reach the Panorama Point is from Dasturi Parking, make sure you visit this point first and then proceed towards Matheran. Do not visit this point while you are staying at Matheran as it would be a round trip and you would end up walking long distances. You may also visit this point after you are back from Matheran and before proceeding to Neral. 7. Crowd: There is very little crowd and this makes the Panorama Point even more amazing. Even during the weekends, you might have this point to yourself. Overall: This is a must visit point in Matheran and shouldn;t be missed at any cost. Have a safe trip, Vivek

Panorama Point is the most exciting and the farthest viewpoint in Matheran. It is nearly 7 to 8 km away from the marketplace or Matheran station. Taking a horse is probably the best option to select. Horse ride takes 45-60 minutes to transport you to this fairyland from Matheran station / marketplace. If you walk up to the point, it might take 90-120 minutes to reach the destination. To see the perfect sunrise, you need to start your journey at around 5:30 (if you are taking horse ride) from the marketplace (so accordingly select the time based on the location of your hotel). Having some buffer time will allow you to set yourself at the right spot to click some beautiful pictures. The path is little bit rocky and hence, your back might start hurting after a while, but you can take some rest on your way there. Do not worry much, if you select horse ride. On the way, you go through the forest hearing singing birds, breeze and horse's clip-clop, while having occasional glimpses of varying landscapes. The views from Panorama Point are incredibly stunning. This point offers a 360-degree view of Matheran and surrounding areas. You can lie down in the lap of nature while inhaling fresh air that is a rarity in cities. This place is also a good picnic spot and a photographer's paradise. One can click multiple panoramic pictures here without any intervention.
