Unlike any other historical sites that are generally visited by great number of tourists with less authentic maintenance, I felt a real sense of the presence of the event right from the moment I stepped into The Memorial and Museum. From the synagogue and the restaurant of which are refurbished and currently in use to the unchanged attack scenes, it was just as if I went from the present to the past in minutes. The video and the pictures had also great enhanced my experience. Would highly recommend to if are Jewish or interested 26/11 Mumbai.

A very emotional experience. Felt a mixture of emotions anger at such a barbaric act, sadness at the loss of lives and tremendous respect toward the courageous act by people. The entire tour was conducted in such a nice way. We were taken through a recap of the events including some stories of bravery and courage that were unknown to us. A nice touch was the Memorial Wall which not only listed the names of the lives lost in Nariman House but also The Taj, Trident, CST and other locations. We would like to thank our guide for the tour Rhea who gave us detailed insights not just about the attacks, the various heroic acts by people but also about the purpose of the Memorial. Nariman Light House truly is a wonderful way of keeping the memories of people who lost their lives that day alive. One can see pictures and videos of the memorial on social media but would recommend everyone to definitely go and visit the place physically. It is an experience that cannot be explained in words.

Today I visited this spot via Khakhi tours and labs. Our walk started at 5pm and ended by 6.15pm. A small gate took us inside the iconic place, which was attacked on 26/11. Our guide gave us a full explanation of the whole event. First we took a lift to the 6th floor. An open terrace welcomed us. On the walls memorial for 26/11 attack was laid with names. This place is surrounded with small flowers and shrubs. From the terrace we could view the sea from one side, view Taj palace from the other side. Our guide gave us full narration of the whole incident. He gave us the geography of the entry point and how the attack spots were linked. Every word, line about the incident evoked emotions within us. At the end of the narration we all maintained 30 seconds silence. From 6th floor we moved down to 5th floor and had a view of the rooms. They are kept in the same way from the day attack happened. We moved to the 4th floor down. Here we got a view of the bullet holes that had hit the wall. In many portions of the wall the covering was chipped. Here our guide narrated the full attack incident, transporting us to that day. Nearing completion of the walk, a small video about the whole incident was shown. As we came out of the lighthouse and stood in the lane where a line of the attack is mentioned on the walls. A touching moment for all us. Thank you Khakhi tours and silent prayer to all departed souls who have left their families behind.

An amazing place to actually know, what happened during the 3 day siege. Before I used to think that internet has all the information but no. The place and the amazing guide there (Miss Rhea), told us things that we could believe and things we never knew about. Must visit for someone who wants to do a research on 26/11 attacks.

Shabbat Shalom!! It was a precious time to reflect on the meaning of peace. I could feel more reverential than any other memorial hall.

Going in I had very little knowledge of the attacks that had taken place. The museum and the tour guide were very informative and really helped me understand what happened during those 3 days. I would recommend this museum to everyone. To read about it is one thing but seeing the actual violence really puts things in perspective. A huge shoutout to the tour guide, Rhea Purohit! Whoever goes there please ask for her to be your guide! She has done her research and will definitely make the tour worth your while!
