we hiked till here from base village Katwan.. no breeze, no rain coupled with humidity of Mumbai side.. it was pretty exhaustive.. but the view from the top was all worth it, especially the Garbett Plateau..

Great place. east side of the valley. There is a heavy breeze her with great view. Small shop is also there. Horse goes there and walking distance is easy.

It's very near to the market views are good but not as good as other view points... While we visited we had partial visibility due to clouds so it wasn't very enjoyable although if it is the first point you are visiting in Matheran you're gonna enjoy it no matter what weather there is ... Plan to go there in the beginning of the trip only...

Excellent The best attraction in Matheran. The horse drivers do not mention this place to you when you ask them for attractions, or they will charge you extremely high. It is not very far from the railway station. You may walk to the point easily within 20 minutes from the station. I recommend you to take a morning walk through the dense forest to the point. A peaceful walk, because no horse riders come to this place, so no smell of horses or dust, unlike other points. You will see variety of birds, hear their sounds and a lot of monkeys on the way. I really enjoyed the walk.

It is much more accessible to go to the other Mountains if you dare to go through the narrow rock path covered by two side valleys. one should be cautious and alert before crossing the railing.
