Ok, let’s be straight here. It’s a challenge to find this bar, located within the Ferry Road Brickworks Centre in Southport. But be assured, it’s worth every second you spend finding it! Bar manager Rumtin is a kind of liquid chef, and his passion, skill and dedication to the art of mixology shows through, with unarguably the finest and most sophisticated cocktails on the Coast. The antipasto menu and the fine photographic gallery location add to the experience - but the cocktails are stand-alone fabulous, with flavours and textures that will have you visiting again and again. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you haven’t experienced just what can be created with Caribbean rum, toasted coconut, salted mango and habanero chilli, or with raisin-infused cognac, house blended vermouth, saffron honey and clarified milk, you need to! Get here, now! 6 stars if I could!

After seeing all the raving reviews, our experience was a little disappointing. Mostly because despite booking a table & there being multiple tables available whilst we were there - we were sat on a table with strangers. After 30 minutes we asked if we could move which they did help facilitate. The small table they moved us to though didn’t have much room for the food we ordered. The antipasto board was fine, but nothing special for $55. The cocktails were more ice than cocktail. Not many options on the cocktail menu if you don’t love gin. 4x cocktails, 1x antipasto board, 3x arancini balls came to $160. The atmosphere is quite nice though & the live music was really good.

Rumtin and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had a blast. The thought and inspiration behind every cocktail offering was perfectly translated into beautifully crafted drinks, the venue feels both airy and private, incredible experience all around. Will definitely come back again soon!

We had an amazing experience here this evening. Art and a bar. Fantastic service, each cocktail is made with attention to detail. A little free cocktail of the month at the end aswell. Rumtin even sat down to chat and educate us all things cocktails. The menu is beautifully designed and inspired by photographic artwork.

Having searched the Gold Coast for a 30th Birthday venue we came across the Art Bar Bon Appetour at the Brickworks in Southport. I have to say it exceeded all expectations from the back drop of amazing art work to the best signature cocktails. If you're considering a place to host a private event this spot is really worth considering.

Hosted a birthday here for 30 people afew weekends ago. From the beginning Rumtin the bar manager was very accommodating, even changing one of the wines for us. The food packages are well priced and plentiful. All my guest mentioned how great the staff were also. Will definitely be back.

Had a great evening at your venue. Staff were super friendly. And can’t fault it. Jake was really great definitely be back. The only criticism I have was sitting at the window I really think you need cushions along the back being short was a bit uncomfortable. . Other than that brilliant night
