This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The most delicious food - with incredible sharing dishes. We had the octopus, black squid ink risotto with Calamari, watermelon and feta salad and the chorizo. The best food I’ve had in years! Wine was delicious. Decor was stunning and stylish. Service was outstanding.. 10/10. If you haven’t tried this new restaurant - it’s a must!

The food at Bar Leo was 10/10. Not a single thing we could fault. The octopus was an unexpected stand out - probably the best cooked octopus we've ever had. Service was also fantastic! We only had small plates, but the staff spaced them out perfectly into separate courses rather than bringing them all out at once. The focaccia is also amazing. Highly recommend!

Truly outstanding. Everything. I mean everything is sensational. The food is to die for. The wines on offer compliment the meals beautifully. The menu and specials will spoil you. The atmosphere with 80’s music and the attentive and friendly staff will ensure you stay longer. Owners Alannah and Joe offer a warm welcome, with a smile every time. We are lucky to be locals and have this on our doorstep to walk to anytime we want either just a glass of wine, a cocktail, some small plates or a three course meal.

Quaint restaurant in surburbia. Lovely drinks especially the cocktails. Delicious focaccia and pâté also the prawns are a must try.

Attentive and friendly service paired with knowledge of the menu and wine list was oh-so appreciated. We shared many dishes, all prepared and presented perfectly and thoroughly delicious. Our chosen wine, a Chablis and wooded Chardonnay completed our meals beautifully. Enjoy a visit with Bar Leo as soon as you have the opportunity.

I shared a birthday celebration with my friends and it was wonderful! The food, the ambience, the wonderful staff. It was casual yet extremely classy, everyone had big smiles on their faces and treated us beautifully. It will be a regular destination for us in the future.

My wife and I took some friends to Bar Leo for lunch on Sunday. We chose this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is first class, new decor, amazing ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. We were met by the owner, and front of house specialist, Alana. She was delighted that we had chosen her restaurant and set about making us feel welcome and appreciated. Alana engaged us with meaningful conversation while skillfully telling us about what was on the menu and her recommendations. The kitchen is on full display and you can see Chef Jai and his team creating your meal choices as you wait. The food was amazing!!! There was nothing that came up that I considered could have been done better. The Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection. The sashimi fish was delightfully light to taste. The Greek salad and its dressing was delicious, according to my wife, as I didn’t even get a look in. The Brussel sprouts were amazing. If you are looking for a venue for your next meal out, then you can’t go past what Alana and Jai have created at Bar Leo.
