Large sloping parklands. Wide views to Gold Coast and the dam. Foggy mornings fantastic. Toilets and picnic shed, large children’s playground and activities. Kept well mowed.

Nice quiet place to stop for a while. The park has a 'long drop' toilet. I thought I'd mention that for those that Can't handle such things.

Everyone living or visiting the Gold Coast needs to visit this amazing lookout up in Lower Beechmont you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend making the early morning journey before sunrise and watching it from up there at the park and in my experience personally don't think I have ever seen such a richness,depth, and glow ( almost luminous or neon ) of colours orange, yellows and pinks from a sunrise anywhere else YET! Being a local I can also tell you it again is a must do and in reverse go up the evening of a full moon!!! You'll be blessed with a stunning sunset from the west, then as darkness descends the start of the sunrise will not only again blow you away with beauty, but also have you almost thinking your watching a sunrise. The shear size it looks from up there at the park is something like no else and the colour of orange to a really dark yellow as it first emerges out of what looks like the ocean, as I said can have you almost believe it's a sunrise..... absolutely spectacular.

We love this spot. Scenic views over the Hinze Dam and mountain ranges and out to the Gold Coast as well. You can take a frisbee, kids can play on the playground or BMX track, take a picnic rug & bring the dog. Even ride your bike up Beechy & stop for a rest before an awesome ride down. Take a jumper with you as can be chilly up there all year round.

Awesome place for a picnic during the day, and star gazing during the night. Has eating tables, a gazebo and a large open grass field that slopes down towards the south. Great views of Page's Pinnacle, Numinbah Valley, Hinze Dam and the Gold Coast. Has toilets and parking for all guests.

Fantastic view both to the Scenic Rim and to Gold Coast, beautiful driving to there too.
