Wow is this a terrible restaurant. Got most of the orders wrong, some coming out over an hour apart, completely forgetting about multiple drink orders as well. The wait staff were rude, abrupt and really did not want to help us. The food is overpriced and underwhelming - definitely not worth the price. And to top it off we were yelled at by the owner as we were leaving. You will absolutely regret booking here, I have no idea how they're still in business. Worthy of a Kitchen Nightmares episode.

Food was well below average. The seafood chorizo rissoto tasted like hot dog sauce. Rissoto was watery. The salmon was way over cooked. So disappointed with this. The wait staff every great however the owner was rude. We even noticed the owner being rude to the wait staff. Definitely should have read the reviews before eating here !!!!!! May as well of thrown $180 down the drain. For 2 people mind you. Waste of money

In response to the owners comments posted on 10/9/23 Yes after calling back three times. We arrived for the refund. However did not receive a refund for the amount charged as the total bill, then the Indian man behind the bar came charging at me screaming at me after we had left the restaurant and then proceeded to slam his hands on the counter screaming in my face!! Absolutely no respect for anyone let alone women. Joe the pizza chef opened the boxes where he saw two pieces half eaten out of both boxes, his theory was you take a bite and then call to complain. Which is exactly what we did - there were four people who all started eating the pizzas and all said they were undercooked and cold even the child. The order was placed at 6:33pm and we arrived at 7pm, following Alex’s direction that they would take 30minutes to be made. When I went to school that was before the 30mins. So your saying you gave us the wrong order! The boxes were sitting outside of the oven when we arrived and it took the Indian man ten minutes to serve us then try and charge us twice. You are absolutely right the customers in the walkway and the four people in total that were in your restaurant heard your staff screaming abuse in my face and in my mums face. I have video footage of this and have made a formal complaint to Salt Village, the local council and the police for your aggressive staff. Be honest!!!! I suggest you look for another venture as if you haven’t learnt how to treat your patrons in 17 years of service within the hospitality industry then that industry is not for you! There are numerous of reviews that are consistent with abusive and rude staff including yourself as the owner, the food is awful and is overpriced!! Including your constant comments to reviews including lies and false information trying to justify your disgusting service, poor quality food and awful business model. Your patronage only comes from the good quality restaurants on the strip being booked out and people needing to eat so the overflow to your restaurant is a last resort! Finally, I can assure you I would NOT eat the pizza! The lies posted in your response only solidify your awful business model! The food was inedible hence why it was returned in less than five minutes (the time it took to walk there) and please note domino’s could knock you out of the park with their pizzas. Original review: If I could rate them ZERO I would. The Indian man serving, Alex the waiter and Joe the pizza chef all screamed abuse at me in front of customers due to me returning uncooked and cold pizza. The pizza barely had any ingredients on it, so small they floated around the standard size pizza box, and the dough was undercooked! I called as soon as I took a bite and was handed from the Indian man to Alex who handed me to Joe all having a conversation about the pizza before speaking with me. Joe hung up on me mid conversation before I finished my sentence. I called back and Alex was extremely rude. I will be reporting this restaurant to the local council for them to send out an inspector and completing a formal complaint process, accompanied by the video footage taken of this disgusting encounter. To have 3 grown men surrounding a female all screaming at me is absolutely disgusting especially in this day and age. Never eat here! To claim the food is authentic Italian is false! And cheap fast food takeaway would provide you with a better standard of food and service! I will be awaiting the owner Sylvester Coutinho to contact me. Read the reviews before because I wish I had as there are several reviews with extremely poor ratings and experiences similar to mine. Sea Salt Ristorante are taking up a position where a restaurant that knows how to cook and treat customers could otherwise occupy.

Beware.. try the other restaurants who want your business.. Tonight we (3 of us) decided to try this restaurant, and I understand why it was so empty. The waiter was rude and unpleasant from the moment we walked in.. big warning signs there. When I ask how large the risotto was he said restaurant size? Ok? I said ok I will have that and then he took the order for the other 2 wanted to share a pizza. Turns out he claims he didn’t hear my order so no food arrived for me. When we asked about it he argued that I didn’t order?? Really? I came to restaurant to sit there without a meal?? This guy needs another job because the service industry is not for him. I ended up walking to down further for a meal because obviously it was an inconvenience for the waiter to have us there…. I did ask for a manager and they as told there was no one there.. try the Indian and Mexican next door. Soo much better food and service. Response to Restaurants reply: I was only offered a meal when the othered were almost finished. And the manner in which the waiter spoke to me of course I told him to forget it. I can see that arguing with customers continues with the reply. Not a pleasant experience for any of us.

Ordered two pizzas tonight. Both were underwhelming Cannot comprehend how any chef with pizza oven experience let these cross the pass. Both had blonde undercooked, doughy bases. Both had cheese barely melted. Very disappointed given the simplicity of the order. Should also note they were ordered at 17:55 on a Sunday, far from a busy time.

The food is good but the Owner is horrible. Abusing staff, rude to customers, abrupt and pushy. Was just starting the Dinner service with less than 10% of tables used but still telling customers it’s about to get busy so hurry up with orders etc. This bloke shouldn’t be in business. Won’t be back! Go somewhere else that respects customers

Went to dinner here with my partner, we’re here for a holiday and we were really excited for a pizza and the owner or whoever the server was (the older man) he was very rude and made us hurry to pay and then said it would take 40 minutes, so we went to sit outside and he told us to go away and go somewhere else because it’s not a good look sitting outside waiting for our food. Then we went to get our food and another older man was there and was very rude too and wasn’t welcoming, couldn’t find our order and acted as if we didn’t have an order put down. Both servers were so rude, impatient and unwelcoming. We’ve never ever had to deal with service like that and we are definitely not coming back and would not recommend anyone else to go as it was not an enjoyable experience for my partner and I and we were embarrassed in front of a bunch of people when he told us to go away. Not impressed and didn’t feel welcomed at all.

Well let me just say that the reviews were already enough to turn me off going to this place but my partner really wanted Italian for dinner. Didn’t even make it past the booking stage as the owner refused to seat us because we had a pram. Stating that it would be annoying for staff and other diners. Haven’t had this problem with any other restaurant EVER! Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. This owner clearly doesn’t have any care for his customers. Disgusted.

Will never eat here again. Waitress were nice enough but very slow to take orders. They put the wrong topping g on my daughters pizza and instead of making her another they just picked the topping off. Had our main meal and the chef started abusing the waitress right in front of our table. They forgot our entree so it came out after our mains. Very dissapointing

Shocked! After sitting down a lady and 3 children next to us had ordered some drinks. The waiter returned with them but one of the drinks was a mistake (a sprite instead of an apple juice) - she went back to the bar to fix the order. Unfortunately she was sent back (by the owner or bartender) to the table and told the lady that the order was put into the machine and there was nothing she could do about it. Pretty much, we made a mistake, now you have to pay for what you didn’t order. What kind of service is that??? A complete reflection on management and how they operate their business. Unsurprisingly, our experience was synonymous with other reviews. We got up and left.

We have started with nice wine and continue with very nice food. Hand made focaccia topped with garlic, cheese & oregano was our primo piatto as well as insalata Barbabietola Arrosto, roasted beetroot, pumpkin, spinach, toasted almonds, goats cheese with citrus dressing. Yummy. As per our liking we would like to have more garlic on focaccia but we didn't ask initially, so we have to admit it was good. Salad was very nice and fresh. Per secondi piatto we have ordered pepperoni pizza, fior di latte, pepperoni, mushrooms and olives from wood oven has been tasty. Service was good. We have enjoyed fully our dinner at Sea Salt Ristorante.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Lovely waitress. My husband had the salmon rissoto with prawns and loved it. The wine was very good and yes it was mentioned the tip is shared which I get because it's a team that produce the experience.
