😠 Went to this place for lunch. My coffee was burnt. My friend had the scrambled eggs and bacon. Bacon was cold. Eggs hard and stringy. I ordered the Japanese pancake without ricotta (I'm lactose intolerant) and a side of bacon. Order came with racotta and without bacon. Don't waste your money/time. People often mention coffee, staff, great, eggs, good, service, lovely, bacon, friendly, breakfast,

Really like visiting the Oak.. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Decent size menu and fairly priced. The vibe is friendly and relaxed. Food is delicious and I really enjoyed it..(the only feedback I could give was that I like firm eggs and had one firm one soft). Our cappuccinos were creamy and was a nice tasting coffee. Thank you for having us!

I had reviewed this as 5 stars, however, The Oak Cafe must now be under new management OR have made changes to their kitchen. Service: Order was incorrect and I had to argue the difference between a croissant and a toasted sandwich. Wait staff got multiple orders incorrect for tables around me and people getting takeaway. Food: Food was generally good, however the quality of produce has obviously gone down. Drinks: Coffee quality has gone down, but amazingly a pot of tea was buggered up and milk took an extra 10min to come out Sorry Oak, I love local business but I'll avoid for the foreseeable future

Amazing coffee. Love the charmy spoon. Croissant was perfect. The atmosphere is great and they seem to value the little details. Well done.

Beautiful little space, the service is great and the food and coffees were amazing… there is inside and outside dining available so you can bring your fur baby as well! Very cosy cafe, I will definitely be back ⭐️❤️

One of my favourite cafes on the GC! The new menu is so fun and creative, and most importantly, delicious, 10/10. If your in the area you NEED to try their new lavender matcha latte. Definitely one of the best I've ever had! It's creamy, smooth, and the lavender isn't too overpowering with the matcha🍵😍 Thank you Oak Cafe xx

I've been hitting up this place a lot lately for their coffee, but today I finally gave their food a shot because they just launched a new menu. Their savory potato rosti is a definite winner, especially on a gloomy day like today, gotta give it a go!

We have been going to the Oak for years and it has always been our go to as locals, however since under new owners we have tried and tried to continue to love this place but unfortunately the standard has fallen dramatically. The wait times are always ridiculous and I don’t think there’s been a time yet this year where our order was actually correct. I’ve had missed orders multiple times, burnt banana bread and cold coffee. Today was my last chance to give it a go and my takeaway banana bread was dry and came without butter which is typically a given at least on the side even if not stipulated. I really felt for the staff as being Father’s Day there was one girl taking orders and one girl running the entire floor. I am confused as to why they would take over an extremely successful business and change the coffee beans, change the entire menu and waste time and energy on things like replacing the style of coffee mugs and other decore. The focus should be on the food and bev and sadly this will no longer be our Sunday spot. I really do hope they take on the feedback from these reviews.

ATTENTION CYCLISTS A great place for a coffee stop. The staff are terrific and the coffee is great. This is a great location to enjoy a coffee on your ride up the mountain to Springbrook or for a coffee fix on your way back. Its conveniently located on Railway Street directly opposite the Mudgeeraba Police Station. The also have an assortment of cakes, slices and take away food. The seating area outside was closed due to COVID19 but there is a great lawn to sit on and plenty of space to ensure social distancing. The cafe was open at 5am on Easter Monday. It is open from 5am from Monday to Friday as well.

The worst food ever. The bacon still looked raw, and the eggs were clear and under cooked. The toast was burnt. My coffee tasted like instant coffee. The owner was rude and petty. The only benefit was it was next to the servo so I could get a pie after.

Used to love this place but they no longer have menus in paper form! I come to a cafe with friends to get away from technology and cant even see what they have to order because I now need a phone! They made me feel like I was crazy for not having one and no one provided any help whatsoever. Warning! if you like unwinding without technology this is not the place to go

Nice local Cafe and service was great. Coffee and frappe were good. However, the food was quite bland, no bacon with an English breakfast as standard, grilled tomato not cooked and small portions for price.

Went for brunch here last weekend and food was fairly disappointing. I ordered the chef recommended chicken karaage waffles with coleslaw and maple syrup, watermelon mixed juice and my fiancé had acai bowl. Acai and the juice was good but the chicken waffle was really disappointing. Waffle was not even toasted or heated up because it was really soggy. It didn’t help that we waited about 30mins to get our food. Overall, i would not recommend trying the chicken waffles. I may come back to try other menu, but not anytime soon.

The coffee was wonderful! The coffee is always wonderful! Although the food not so much. The meals seemed to be thrown together with no love or seasoning. The veg wrap was so bad that not even my parented wanted to eat it. I don’t want to put the whole business down in a negative way as it’s a lovely spot with lovely staff. I think the chef may have been having a bad day. This was the 7.10.23 in the am.

From Acai bowls, Nutella pancakes, eggs and bacon, this place has it all. Kids were extremely impressed (4 x young fussy teens). All ordered something different, and left full and extremely impressed, all now wanting to bring their own families to experience this delightful little Cafe. I didn't get an opportunity to take pictures, as the kids got stuck in to the food as soon as it arrived to the table. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly. Prices were definitely reasonable for quality and quantity! Will be back.

Ooh la la by far the best breakfast we have ever experienced. Eggs Benedict hands down the best in QLD. Coffee perfect. Atmosphere wonderful, staff fantastic. Can’t fault the lovely Oak Cafe

Over $80 for eggs Benedict, two waffle meals, two juices and a turmeric latte!! The meals were meagre- eggs undercooked, waffles dry and barely much Nutella. I had thought for the price, the juices would be fresh- they were from a bottle. Simply awful. The best part about the experience was the lovely young lady who took our order- she was helpful and attentive, she’s wasted there.

The meals were so good that we finished them before our tea & coffees. We were here 2 weeks ago while house sitting and we told the owners how good it was, we had to come back before we go back to our home on the south side of Brisbane.

Great little cafe, and the bonus is, due to all the outdoor seating it is also dog friendly, so much so that when we were there with our 2, the staff were so nice that they even brought out a bowl of water for them. I usually judge my breakfast cafes based on the eggs Benedict and theirs did not disappoint, the eggs were poached to absolute perfection, the hollandaise could've used a tad bit more lemon for me but there was something peculiar about the toast that was absolutely amazing, it seemed to be a mix of the type of bread and the way it had been toasted, I know it sounds strange but it really lifted the dish and made it something to remember.

This place is fantastic! Order the seasonal salad with chicken, absolutely this is the go! The coffee is uniquely good. One of the best coffees I've ever had. So good. They use some Columbian coffee mix. Drinking the flat white right now, it's amazing. Photo is the salad I had. So good!!

No stars for food as I didn't eat there....yet. But if the food is as great as the coffee I'll be flinging stars their way soon. Thank you for a lovely morning. UPDATED: So finally ate here and I have to say...in a word, horrible. I ordered a big breakfast and asked for mushrooms and a hash brown and didn't receive either. Also suggested don't serve the beans as they're not my thing and I'll only send them back but what do ya' know there they were. Along with only "ONE" egg which I pretty much had to demand be poached...tried to say they only come fried. Half a star for the coffee. The Oak?? More like the Joke. Won't be back.
