A truly hidden gem in Southport, Queensland. This Lebanese restaurant blew us out of the water with their quality and quantity of food. The restaurant could use some interior design to attract more customers but when we decided to give this place a try, it hit all the notes we were looking for. Staff was super friendly and helpful. In the time we were seated there and enjoying our meal, we witnessed her help many other customers and even rearrange the seating to better accommodate some families. Lovely atmosphere and very homey feel. Highly recommend this place. Their food was delicious, and the portions were very very generous. Would definitely come here again.

That place surprised us. From the outside it looks like a normal take away joint but the food is restaurant quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back Only little critique: is the flair, bit more Lebanese decoration would be great.

The food is so good! Grilled lamb are juicy, the rice are delicious, neither too dry or too watery, just the best. Will back in the future ☺️

Beaut Lebanese Restaurant offering an impressive selection of Middle Eastern Delicacies. Located opposite Australia Fair on Nerang Street, (Gold Coast Hwy end). Has both inside & outdoor dining options. Had the Lamb Shawarma Plate. The Presentation & Taste was Fabulous. Really Good portion size. So,Value for money Is Outstanding !!

Based on the food (quality, value and authenticity) this place should be humming. My partner and I have been here numerous times, the food always delivers, but the service, though friendly, can be perfunctory, and the restaurant has zero atmosphere. Improvements - ambience, get rid of all the (falling-down) bad café branded signage (Solo, Coke etc) on the dirty windows. Le Star is clearly already popular with the local Lebanese community, why not create a more authentic experience? - lighting (led table candles, pontoon lights etc), bamboo walls outside (to hide Nerang Streer), music, images etc - go to Thaitanic in Nerang if you want to see how to create a vibe without a lot of expense. Menu - offer (rather than just list) mint tea, make it a signature and value-add. Introduce and promote a modest BYO charge - say, $5 per bottle. BYO is a bonus. Offering beverages will also increase your average spend. Give tables tap water upon arrival - appears hospitable, generous & costs virtually nothing. The menu is too big and difficult to navigate. Offer a $30 per head set menu. Veg & non-veg. Reduces wastage, increases average spend, turnover speed/service etc include a jug of free mint tea. Fix these things, and I can assure you, you could triple your revenue within months, if not days.

Coming from Sydney west and been to plenty middle eastern eateries, it's honestly the best middle eastern food I have ever had. Portion here is generous, but I finished every single bit of it!

Such delicious food at very reasonable prices! Authentic tasting and generous servings. Everything is seasoned really well. I love that they use chicken breast, much healthier and still juicy. We are now regulars!

The food here is quite good, though the place lacks ambience. It looks like a fast food place but it serves restaurant quality food. Everything was fresh and the shawarma meat was good quality and fat less. Pricing reasonable. The small chips for $3 were more like a large.

Very bad experience. I have bought this cheese pizza many times before, not one time looks like this. This is not acceptable and not eatable at all. That’s how you serve your customer? I don’t mind you messed it up, but at least tell me ‘sorry, we will make you another one’. You know it looks awful but still give it to me. Look at the second pic, you will know the difference! Remember to check your order before you leave the store.

The pesto chicken pizza from le star is out of this world and good price. Why would you try cheap eats anywhere else. Owner please don't close your shop and don't increase the price.

The platter was absolutely delicious! It's not on the menu but there's a picture and costs $36. Was enough for 4 adults along with the pitta and hummus and cheese pasties. Don't judge this place by its cover. It might not look inviting but the food is like being at my Lebanese friends house with mamma cooking. Authentic, yummy and quality food

I am amazed with the quality, portion and price of the food in here. I ordered kafta plate and the taste was topnotch. Chicken sawarma tasted so delicious too. My first time in here and I’ll be back again. 100% recommended.

Very nice authentic Lebanese restaurant, been looking for a place that makes the crispy chicken with pickled vegetables on the side in the Gold Coast for a while. I was delighted to discover this restaurant.

A great restaurant, tasty food, fast service. We loved it. And most importantly, great value for money for big portion of food. The only drawback is the nail saloon next to it, it produce a bad smell if you were sitting outside.

This is a authentic lebenese restaurant. And all the food was healthy and fresh. You must try the falafels they are crunchy and fresh different from the ones at kebab shops

I don’t recommend this restaurant, we have ordered charcoal chicken and lamb mansaf. We threw them in the garbage as the charcoal seems leftover food. and the mansaf was reheated and untasted

It’s very good restaurant, generous and the cheapest out of all other places. The service is very quick and the place is very clean! The place is worth to try specially for families who loves to have variety of food. Best luck and wishes!

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Ordered the lamb shawarma which was a large portion and came with a salad. Flavours were bit salty for my palate however the lamb was cooked very well! The garlic hummus and tahini sauces on the side were very tasty. Pita bread for the table was a bonus. Seating inside was a bit small especially at peak hour, but air con was great and there was additional seating outside too.
