This review is purely base on service venue and coffee. Haven't had any food so unable to comment. Service was on point, can really see that the staff take there customer service seriously. Always reassuring everything was ok and if checked twice if our coffee was alright. Honestly the coffee was good but not amazing. But I can surely say its the Toby's estate coffee and not the barrister. That brand of coffee can only deliver so much in flavour and smoothness. Had a little coffee art, even with soy milk which is nice considering lot of places don't even try with soy. Safe to say it's probably the better coffee shop in Nerang area. I will be back again. Next time try a little food too.

We love to try eggs benny at different cafes. Unfortunately since being here nothing compares. And love the fact they give you a decent knife to cut everything. Absolutely amazing highly recommended. Our pup loves it too :) 1 year on and still our favourite cafe. And the hollandaise, you will not find better. It will ruin you for any other hollandaise. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

My local favourite cafe, the best coffee and food. Such friendly and helpful ladies and nice relaxed atmosphere with regular customers. The only issue with this cafe (for me, a working woman) is that it’s not open on weekends so I don’t get to go there often 😂 which, I guess, makes it more special for me.

Awesome as always. New staff but just as great as the resent staff. Lunch and coffee excellent, as well as the background music. ( muso speaking ) We come to Nerang often, and this is the coffee place we look forward to having coffee and dining at. We love it.

Lovely friendly staff. Quick service. Had a very yummy eggs Benny with a bucket size cappuccino and big breakfast burger, with an acai smoothie.

Perfect double shot cappuccino every time. Food is all delicious, have enjoyed bacon & egg rolls and lovely warm muffins with butter, yum! The staff are, without exception, all lovely & friendly people, especially the owner Helena who is one of those rare people whose warmth makes you feel instantly welcome and at home. This is definitely my favourite Gold Coast coffee spot ^_^

So good!! Took a punt & tried the eggs benny crossiant w/ cappuccino, both were absolutely spot on & delicious. Staff were A+. I'll be making it a regular stop!

We came to check this place out based on existing reviews. Friendly staff. Moderately priced. Our meals were freshly prepared. Presentation on point. Would've loved another piece of bread with our meals & the option to choose smoked salmon with the eggs benny.

Best cafe on the Gold Coast! Visit regularly and I have never had a bad experience here. Great coffee, friendly atmosphere and the service is amazing from the whole team. You won’t regret stopping in at Helena’s Espresso!

Coffee was excellent on both visits. 33% of the 3 staff where friendly and approachable. Waiter was kinda scary and intimidating. Made me feel very unwelcome. I was never offered water. Food not so good. First time I got the eggs benny because it had a lot of good reviews. The holendase was good but not great. Thats about it. There was no spinach or rocket or any greens at all. The egg wasn't cooked well. Squirted raw whites all over my plate. The bacon was beyond cremated. I've eaten gravel with less crunch and more flavor. Tasted like burnt wood. The tiny bits of thin cut toast was even harder. Struggled to cut it with a steak knife and a bunch of sawing. Was so dry it couldn't soaknup the runny raw eggs. Seemed to repel all moisture. Thinking it must have been an unlucky visit I tried again with the big breakfast a few days later. Same raw egg, same cremated bacon. Slight improvement on the toast. Soggy undercooked hash browns. Portions where tiny. Left starving hungry after spending $33 on a meal and coffee. I've had no name musli bars more satisfying. All up its some of the worst food I ever paid for. Regret not asking for a refund. Wont be back.

Stopped by here on the way back to Brisbane for lunch and there was nothing we could fault. We had the salmon bagel and chicken cheese truffle toastie & coffees and all was delicious! Service was amazing too friendly happy staff. Would stop by again if in the area!

First time here. Food was good. I had the fruit toast. It's the kind that is chock full of fruit and nuts, and is hard to find as it's an artesian bread. Coffee was fantastic. It's a lovely little Cafe tucked away on a small block. I will most definitely be back.

Really nice staff and place, but unfortunately the food was average with burned toasts. Drinks were good tho. Might come back to try again something else sometimes.
