Family run restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Food here is amazing, Mike's specialise in ribs and steaks. Everytime we come here we order the half ribs with 200g eye fillet, comes with chips and a small salad too. Some notable entrees include the salt and pepper calamari and the cheesy garlic bread 🧀 For dessert you can't go past the chocolate mousse, which is rich in flavour and not overpoweringly sweet. All in all a great dining experience!

AMAZING FEAST! What an incredible, meaty meal. The ½ rack of ribs was outstanding… The ½ rack of ribs accompanied by a prime rib steak…now that might just be enough to make Beaker from The Muppets look happy. All was cooked to perfection and tasted superb…even the pepper sauce was sensational! The service was exceptional too. Can’t wait to get back here again soon!

Some things just never change & that’s a good thing in this case! I reckon it would be 20yrs since I had these ribs when Mikes were at Robina Town Centre and tonight they tasted exactly the same as back then, absolutely mouthwatering and I’ve never had ribs like them anywhere. You don’t know how pleasing it was seeing that same Mikes window inside the diner and the memories of that beautiful food came flooding back. Service was outstanding and atmosphere was cozy and excellent. I hear your still there as well Elton, shame I missed you. Thanks guys!!

Amazing place. Strange spot but wonderful building and an amazing atmosphere. More importantly the staff are great and the food even better. All for an insanely cheap price. I had a half rack of ribs and could only just finish it.

First time eating here tonight. Service was great, clean facilities and food was very nice. We all had ribs and I had a steak too. Everything was cooked perfectly. Very tender meat. Mash potatoes were amazing. Recommended the half ribs, they are very large and can be too rich if you have a lot of them, so it's good to break it up. Not a bad atmosphere either. Great to take the family, and I can assure you, you will all be very full!

Friendly welcoming staff with great food. The ribs are a must! The garlic sauce is also delicious. Definitely value for money.

One of my favourite restaurants on the Gold Coast. Amazing steaks and ribs but also chicken and fish options available also. Book in advance to secure a seat as it is a popular restaurant and you will find it is normally booked out. Large groups will want to book 2-4 weeks in advance.

Generous servings, but lack a bit of flavour. No vegan options, but they try to accommodate. Friends said ribs could have more sauce on them. Not many veg when you ask for veg and chips. Fish was tender, but needed more lemon or a dairy free sauce, as I can’t have dairy. Husband said his chicken was tender too, just a bit plain.

My fiance has taken me her for our 1 year anniversary. Needless to say, how special this was for both of us. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my finace enjoyed his as well. Great food, it is understandable why this place it busy! It was nice to see a few people celebrating their birthdays.

The ribs were cooked to perfection, with a beautiful smoky flavor and a tender, fall-off-the-bone texture. The portion size was generous, and the meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The barbecue sauce that accompanied the ribs was the perfect combination of tangy and sweet, adding an extra layer of deliciousness to every bite. If you're a fan of mouthwatering, finger-licking ribs, I highly recommend trying the full rack at Mike's Kitchen.

Had dinner here with the family for my dads birthday, we liked the atmosphere and the big roomy booths, fit for 4 tall burly guys and 2 ladies. Reminded me of a steakhouse back home in the States. The steaks we delicious and perfectly cooked, great flavor, nice char and juicy. The mushroom and peppercorn sauces were a little bland and my husband and I have never seen a white colored mushroom sauce before. The ribs were also good, but I wish it had a little heat to it or hot sauce or something. Like a spicy jalapeno BBQ sauce on the side would've been nice. Fries were crisp and just right, wish the steak and rib combos came with a salad or vegetable of some sort though. Wings were fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. Calamari was tender and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Mushrooms were rather bland and nothing special. I thought they were gonna be like a crisp lightly battered mushroom like we have at a bar back home served with a couple of dipping sauces. But I didn't realize they were gonna be breaded as I wasnt the one who ordered them for the table. Service was super nice and friendly. All in all we would definitely go back for the steak and ribs and atmosphere.

Good but slightly overhyped. We were really excited for the ribs but they weren’t anything special. Entrees were quite nice, we liked the garlic snails for something different. Steak was slightly under (we asked for med rare) and cold. Desserts were nice - would recommend the traditional milk pudding for something different.

Food very 👍 good Ribs , chicken wings , curry lamb with rice was very tasty. Highly recommended. Side vegetable was well cook , seasoning and fresh. Mash potatoes and chips was good too. Periperi chicken was tender enough. Steak and garlic bread just standard. No wow! Fried calamari was soggy, taste was fine. Average was good, happy meal. Very busy on Saturday night.

The ribs were Devine! I had the chicken and the ribs I was not disappointed the serving was huge and taste was fabulous! Other members of the party had steak and ribs the steak was cooked well and comments flowing was that it tasted great! The service was slow we went without drinks for a while hence only 4 stars but apart from that I can’t fault the place, it was clean and the atmosphere was great! It was packed out! You really must book a table when you go we booked a month in advance, be careful when you exit the motorway it’s very easy to drive straight past (immediate left stay in the merge lane) plenty of car parking available.

Out of spontaneity decided to come here and we are so glad we did, the staff had no issues with getting us a table ready straight away even though they were quite busy and the service was great, food was served quickly and without lacking in quality, garlic prawns were huge and so full of flavour then perfectly timed our mains to come out with steak and ribs all cooked to perfection. Only thing for me was the lack of traditional gravy but was not phased by that at all with the delicious flavours of all the food. 💯💯💯

Chicken wings for entre, delish. Mains, Ribs & fillet eye steaks cooked perfect. Mars Bar cheese cake and sticky date pudding for dessert.👌 Recommend making a reservation.

I hadn't been to Mike's Kitchen for many years, I'm so glad to see it still gets booked out regularly and that they're still slinging massive servings of full rib bone Pork Ribs. This time around, I had the Ribs and 350g Prime Rib combo. My steak was cooked exactly how I liked it, and the ribs were to die for. I was hungry and managed to eat it all, not an ounce of meat left on the bones. However, be warned, this is a BIG meal, and for sure, most will have leftovers to take home. The table shared some starters as well, garlic bread, crumbed mushrooms, chicken wings, and Calamari. All decent. However, the wings were top-notch. Full sized plump wings in a sticky sweet bbq sauce. Friendly welcoming service, big tables in an older European style building, plenty of parking, and a great location

Really reasonable price with generous portions. We tried their famous ribs which is tender, flavourful and generous portion. The peri peri half a chicken was just alright, chicken is rather dry and very small for half a size chicken. The prawns are good which comes with rice. The barramundi fish has nothing to shout about.

First time visit for us tonight, and I must say I was extremely impressed. From excellent service to absolutely amazing food. Great setting and good atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Keep it up team 👌

Ribs are simply delicious. Tenderloin fillet was perfectly cooked (medium rare) but not tasty at all… what a pity. Service was good and price fair.

Always a go to for a special occasion for us..it's never disappointed regarding food,service,price,speediness and efficiency with the delivery of your meal!!Cooked to order, if your wanting Steak and Ribs done to your liking!!Always generous portions and a nice ambience.For what you get very reasonably priced!!Rated as such due to no warm towels after a rack of sticky saucy ribs or wet wipes,they used to offer bibs which was a nice touch!!The particular waitress we had I personally felt wasn't particularly friendly,smiley,welcoming or didn't even introduce herself or ask if we'd been there before!!She didn't really talk that much at all!!it was a day celebration so I didn't want to spoil it by mentioning something to her..even just cheer up!!haha!! goodness!! she certainly wasn't a bundle of pleasure but we got our food and everything we ordered so I wouldn't want her to be my waitress again!! overall if you love ribs,steak,chicken,prawns you won't be disappointed and yet again a happy evening with good food!!

Great place for a group. The food was excellent and service, too. It was very busy but the food came fairly quickly.
