My husband and I heard good things about the pizza at this place and we love pizza so I was keen to try. Our go to pizza is just Mushroom and Cheese. This is a classic pizza in Italy typically called Ai Funghi. The exact order was a Large Mushroom and Cheese with Garlic and Chilli as garnishes. They did not have this exact pizza on their menu as an option, so if we wanted one we knew we would either have to order an existing pizza and remove the other toppings or ask for a custom pizza. My husband asked if we could get one of their combo/meal deals with a custom pizza and they said no and that we could only choose from the set pizzas available to include in the deals. This was semi-expected by my husband so it was not an issue. His next question was how much would this Large Mushroom and Cheese with Garlic and Chilli custom pizza be... this was the issue! This pizza place has four categories of large pizzas. Classic (L$15.50), Traditional (L$17), Premium (L$19.50) and Gourmet (L$23). To put it in perspective, if we ordered a 'Vegetarian' which is a 'Classic' category pizza made up of 5 toppings (Cheese, Mushrooms, Capsicum, Olives and Onions) we would pay $15.50. If we ordered a 'Mexican Heat' which is a 'Traditional' category pizza made up of 6 toppings and 2 garnishes (Cheese, Pepperoni, Capsicum, Onions, Ground Beef and Jalapenos... with Chilli and Garlic) we would pay $17. Lastly, if we ordered a 'Tropicana' which is a 'Premium' category pizza made up of 5 toppings (Cheese, Ham, Mushrooms, Pineapple and Tiger Prawns... with Garlic) we would pay $19.50. They quoted my husband $19 for the Mushroom and Cheese pizza with Chilli and Garlic garnishes. So, for $0.50 more than they quoted us for the Large Mushroom and Cheese with Garlic and Chilli pizza we could've had Tiger Prawns, Ham and Pineapple extra but we would have to ask to add Chilli to make it comparable... seems crazy to me! Ham is typically as much as Mushrooms as a produce cost and Tiger Prawns would be considerably more. It does not add up nor make sense and so we took our business elsewhere... This is not a sledge on their quality or taste as I am sure it is good but these shady business practices without any thought to logic at the expense of good customer service is the warning. Don't go here if you need any changes to your pizza as you may be shocked to find that you will be price gauged for the inconvenience, albeit less work to make as less toppings! :(

Very nice pizza !! A large is about the size of a domino’s pizza. I had a supreme pizza on a thick base which was delicious. The only things that would make it better would be olives and anchovies on a thin base. The chicken pasta was good to it was just missing that last ingredient to top it off which I think might have been Parmesan cheese.

Best Ribs we have ever had. We got delivery from here 6 months ago when we were on holiday and still can't stop thinking about those ribs. Haven't been able to find anywhere that compares. There was so much we had them for a picnic lunch at the beach the next day. Looking forward to another holiday down on the GC in a month and this place is on our must do list.

Absolutely delicious pizza! Pollo penne was also amazing! Service was super friendly and efficient, the chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying our meals! Our new local! Well done on creating a really lovely experience!

olives pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. words cannot describe the excellent flavour of every pizza I’ve ever tried and the amazing customer service cannot be beaten. not only do they sell impeccable pizza, their sides and ribs and everything else on their menu is to die for. if you are ever neat merrimac, please visit olives pizza, it will change your life and view on pizza.

Edit. Prices seemed to be getting out of control. $28 for a small pizza 9" is far too much. Time to look for alternatives in the area. Great product but not consistent. Sometimes great, sometines average.

Jason the local food connoisseur introduced us this evening to their plethora of options. Ribs were incredible, pizza was fantastic not doughy, not over the top with toppings, and mozzarella sticks just delightful. Top effort guys well done. No wonder he swears by you.

Food is always great here. Service is good too. I love that you dont have to tell them about a problem, they notice and fix it before you get your food. The cook on our pizza wasn't great, so rather than serving a sub par product, they made a new one how it should have been.

This is the second time we have made a very large order of over 40 pizza's with our School Basketball Teams that have come across from Western Australia. The service has been absolutely amazing and the order was perfect, with everybody getting what they wanted. We all enjoyed the great pizza's and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in town. Thanks again!

Honestly I eat pizza usually like two times a week and this was by far one of the best I’ve ever had! The pepperoni was covvvvvcered in pepperoni (not a gap to be seen my favourite type) it was absolutely delish. I had it on monday and going back two days later before I have to go to brisbane. Im getting two in order to take one back to brisbane! Been talking nonstop about it and over the moon. Only regret not getting it sooner and not having a photo

The food was ok but theres room for improvement. Pizza tasted really good however lacked topping. A decent amount of ham but next to no salami, couldnt see the bacon at all and had an ok amount of diced beef. If there was more salami and large pieces of bacon, would have been a pretty decent pizza. Also got the ribs, they were plentiful and tender, but way too much sauce. I feel they could have possibly been frozen as it had a bit of a frozen taste and the sauce wasnt to my liking. The side of potatoes and carrots was nice but again, too much sauce and too much garlic.

Every time I order pizza from Olives, it's been consistently great with amazing flavours and good dough. It's great to have an amazing pizza joint in the area 😀

Just had pizza from here for the first time , it was sensational . Easily one of the best pizzas I've had on the goldcoast. Will be eating here more often

Amazing food! The pesto ricotta ravioli is devine! Every pizza on the menu is delicious. Can highly highly recommend.

Awesome pizza and pasta, one of the best I've had in a long time in Australia. Generous amount of toppings. Great atmosphere staff and ofcourse pizzas are unique and bomb and I would recommend everyone to try at this place. Overall, a lovely experience 🥰

We order from here every Tuesday. My brother has gotten food poisoning from his order last night and my husband got food poisoning from his order last week. They used to be good, but now the pizzas come very undercooked and the pasta dishes have more sauce than pasta, making them very unpleasant to eat.

Received delivery tonight of 3 pizzas for just under $ 100.00. Absolutely the worst pizzas we have had from Olives Pizza. Cold pizza’s. Seafood pizza had aluminium foil on 2 of the prawns. We called them to advise what was wrong with pizzas’s and the manager didn’t really care about what we were explaining about the pizza’s. Very disappointed and will not order again. Please don’t waste your money

Seriously go to dominos or Pizza Hut !! Had the supreme pizza … wanted to change out pineapple for anchovies… but nah that was extra . Pizza was bad ! If your into that cheap ham filler on a doughy base with a tomato base that is non existent… topped with plastic cheese .. this is your place . Most of it went into the bin ! Never again .

The recipe/ingredients must have changed. Used to be our fav place to order from, but haven't had pizza in probably 4 months or more. Ordered some the other day but it wasn't the same, the toppings were not as nice as they usually are.

Really love this place. I am a massive pizza and pasta fan always looking for a great takeaway. This is the best takeaway pizza and pasta I have had in Australia when taking quality and cost into consideration. First time I have ever rated anything but this place inspired me.

AMAZING!! Nothing but positive words for this place. Super friendly and a positive work environment from what I’ve seen the few times I’ve been in. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone the lovely girls at the front always have a smile greeting me while the amazing team out the back are always providing amazing food. Was a little disappointed with our pizzas after the reviews we had read seemed so positive. We thought we'd try something other than our usual Domino's go-to as, despite them being cheap, they are only so-so. Olives came up as a seemingly good alternative. Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed, especially at $50 for 3 "large" classic/traditional pizzas all on the regular base. My initial thought was that they looked good and the aroma was pleasant. My first bite from mine was full of garlic but not overpowering. The rest of the ingredients seemed okay enough, however, the base was dreadful - it tasted very dry, I'd go as far as to say stale even. I only ate 3 slices and threw the rest away. The bases on the other 2 pizzas were good though so I'm not sure what happened to mine. My pizza was supposedly a spicy one, however, my daughter's pepperoni one was just as spicy if not more so. It was too spicy for her to eat. The third pizza was a vegetarian - again, fairly underwhelming. There was nothing particularly wrong with it but there was nothing great about it either. All in all a pretty disappointing experience. Delivery was fairly quick, within 50 mins from memory during what I suspect would be a busy time for them - 17:00 to 18:00.

This one is my top favourite as it's fresh, hot and quick delivery. Andy is the charm of this facility. He is nimble and agile, welcoming the custy with smile and advises them of the hot deals and delivers the best. Andy is my go to person as he remembers the customer faces. The guys are hard-working and very committed. Good luck team.
