Enjoyed a great dinner with a long time friend this week, further to a recommendation from another long time friend when we were chatting recently about BYO restaurants on the Gold Coast. My friend and I shared a (Large) Henry the 3rd - The Classic Meat Lover with BBQ Sauce on the side - and it was absolutely scrumptious. Totally agree with the website description of the food “Locally sourced Made with Love”! Welcome and service from the Owner was warm and friendly and we immediately felt right at home in the lovely relaxing ambience of this little family owned, excellent value gem which has been operating for 14 years. Thank you Jamie 🙏 Can’t believe I actually forgot to BYO, but no matter the restaurant is also Licensed so a nice glass of House Shiraz was only a request away. If you like Italian, and especially Pizza, recommend you definitely check out Lambar. PS And make sure you ask Jamie about the Pizza names 😉

I wish I came here sooner! I seared and searched for an amazing Italian restaurant. The best Italian I've had on the Gold Coast-hands down delicious. This will be a main restaurant from now on. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The worst Spaghetti Marinara ever, The wine list has no Names of Wine only the name of the Restaurant…. So overpriced wine. Don’t know what the woman behind the bar was doing …. Nothing. …… I have Been Manager of Restaurants for 20 years and this one is very ordinary.

Weird ambience it's like Indian restaurant meets Casablanca. The food can't be faulted amazing.

This place is perfect for couples and family’s, has a great selection of pastas/pizzas. We had the bolognaise and lambar carbonara and is simply put… magical!

Always love eating at Lambar. Awesome Italian cuisine and owners always make you feel welcome. If you love pizza and pasta it’ll be your new favorite restaurant.

We thought we would try this place for something new and we were utterly disappointed! The prices are high and the products were not worth it. I had the pesto pasta and it had all of 4 tiny bits of chicken, it was about cm of oil just floating on top. Worst pesto I’ve ever had not sure where the white wine cream sauce was as what I got looked like a curdled mess.

Nice find on a cold Tuesday night. Very helpful and friendly service. Hot tasty pizza on a thin crispy base.

We did not enjoy the Mattisse pizza or the garlic parmesan pizza bread. Both were vey oily and salty. Will not order from here again.

Amazing! Excellent service and absolutely delicious pizza. We got the pesto and Parmesan pizza and tandoori chicken and Nutella pizza. We will be back!

Went on a date with my wife last night to Laminar Pizza and we really enjoyed our time. Staff were very helpful and friendly with great customer service. Food was great and dessert of sticky date pudding was delicious. Decorations inside was fantastic and romantic. Definitely give it a try.

One of the worst nights of dining I have ever experienced. Apparently due to a "miscommunication " the starters and mains entered at the same time, which boggles the mind. Our starters took literally an hour and a half to arrive, then mainsanother half hour after that! Pathetic excuse for service when you're paying $25 a meal. Only go here if you want to be served by petulant children

Always such a wonderful experience when my partner and I go to lambar for dinner. The male owner is always working and provides a really welcoming environment in his restaurant! Highly reccomend visiting lambar for a pizza and a pasta

Went to this restaurant last night with my partner and 4 month old son. The customer service was excellent, they were so friendly and happy to accommodate for our pram. The food was also amazing being from Wollongong we had both said to each other, we wish this restaurant was at home. Highly recommend anyone who want a good pasta and friendly service to eat at this restaurant.

They gave me a lil love heart 🫶 I love them, oh he was so sweet I wasn't sure about the pizzas as I'm not much of a pizza fan however I shall say I regret not getting a pizza as they were so amazing (watched my friend eat it) but I got the chicken parmesan and mushrooms then got it to take away after eating a lil over half over but generally 🫶 thank you for the great experience.
