Beit HaBaer is a historical place for an important landmark in the history of Netanya. The visit to the place is preferably arranged in advance. With Tami's knowledgeable help, we received guidance on the history of the settlement and the development of Netanya, together with a collection of items from the settlers' identity. An amazing surprise awaits you and an understanding of the meaning of the well.

(Translated by Google) The well house - Pardes HaGdud farm The well house is a remnant of the battalion orchard farm, which specialized in growing citrus. The farm was established in 1827 by five partners from Israel and abroad, all veterans of the Hebrew battalions, who, as war liberators, managed to obtain a concession from the High Commissioner to purchase the land. The farm was built as a square courtyard, on the eastern side of which stood the well house, and on the top floor lived the farm manager. On the other sides of the courtyard stood a number of farm buildings and workers' residences. In the center of the courtyard was the well. Orchard areas were planted around the main compound (to this day, cypress trees grow in the neighborhood around the streets that served as windbreakers], another well and a packing house, the farm owners 'houses, and a workers' neighborhood were built nearby. The farm existed as an independent settlement with several families and even a school. Until the establishment of the state, the farm and orchards served as a base for operations The "protection". In the late 1940s, the farm area was added to the municipal area of the city of Netanya, and the orchard areas were sold for the construction of residential neighborhoods. The building of the well house, a testament to the early days of Netanya, was restored with the assistance of the estate of Ms. Aliza Kramerman nee Grossman - from Jilina, Slovakia, who was one of the trustees of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel.

(Translated by Google) Museum of the history of the city of Netanya. A nice place where you can see the first well dug in Netanya that was used by the first settlers. In the museum, items beat the era (Original)

We arrived as part of an Israeli Shabbat, we had a lovely guide named Natalie who told us about the period before and after the place was built, it was very interesting. The museum has old items that are no longer used, so it was also interesting for children, although since they talk a lot about history there, it is better not to come with very young children.

👍👍 Nice place, every day I walk there, sometimes there are different concerts. In the evenings (only in summer) there are different ones for children. I advise you to walk there in the evenings, because the sea is nearby and it gets cold. So take your friends or your family and go for a walk there. ❤️...

👍👍 Very nice sand dune close to the sea and a few tracks for hikers. The entrance seems to be a bit complicated: we had to enter Wingate and reach the other side of the campus in order to get to the entrance of the reserve. I assume there are other ways to get into the region. Great view, no facilities...
