This place holds immense power, serving as a profound connection between the Jewish and Russian communities. It stands as a solemn memorial to the devastating events of World War II and the Holocaust, evoking a deep sense of empathy and pain. Additionally, visitors often express their heartfelt grief by placing pictures of their fallen loved ones who perished during the war.

Stunning monument in a great park setting surrounded by high rise apartments and hotels. Giant angelic wings and a replica bunker. Most moving is the actual railway cattle truck used to transport Jews for extermination. Never Again.

My low review score has nothing to do with architecture design or memory of world war but with choice of representation. Story that comes from monument audio emphasize prize paid by Russian people, Victory made by Russian people, everything about Russian people. Accidentally forgotten that it was not Russia but Soviet Union that broke Germans. And to underline political motive of supporting that “Russia only” cause, there is a Russian flag next to monument, one was not flying anywhere during that war. Its a shame that Israel goes with this!

Lovely park with a few monuments dedicated to WWII and Holocaust. Plus real Merkava tank near the parking. There is hardly anyone inside so you can have a calm walk, worth visiting if you are in Netanya.

This monument is abusing. It says about the war from 1941 to 1945. It totally negates all the horror of first two years of war and all the people that were murdered during that period. Audio tells about a huge victory of russian army. But what about the soldiers from another countries? I don't think that kind of monument is acceptable in Israel

No doubt, one of the most unique places in the city. As far as I know, this is the only WW2 memorial that is made specifically for the USSR veterans who live in Israel. Every 9th of may, there is a ceremony in the place to remember the fallen USSR soldiers on WW2. You can travel the channel under the the statue and see some unique art work.
