I switched rooms four times. Wet carpets, keys donโ€™t work, smells like mold and mildew, clothes were wet, questionable crusty white stains on bed sheets and blood stains on curtains, towels, and sheets, cockroaches in the room as well. I personally lysoled the night table and door knobs and the white wipe turned black instantly. Beyond the worst experience and the customer service was even worse.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beachfront paradise. The combination of the picturesque location, beautiful rooms, delicious food, and exceptional service made it a memorable experience I won't forget.

My wife and I were looking for a nice little pesach vacation. The drive from Jerusalem was about an hour and a half. The hotel is centrally located with the beach and other attractions nearby. The rooms provide a beautiful view of the beach however it was old and musky but the service was very pleasant. The food was decent and plentiful. All in all it was a good choice.

(Translated by Google) A reasonable hotel with a great view. The hotel is not the height of splendor, the rooms are a bit old and the bathroom is crowded and requires renovation, but the view of the 180-degree balcony of the Blue Sea compensates for all this. My problem is precisely the price charged by the hotel, which in my opinion does not justify the services it provides if the price was more reasonable. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Average quality buffets. Great location to Mediterranean Sea. Older building in need of updating, very dated.

(+) Quite normal, well maintained hotel. A bit old but didn't notice any bad spots. Just maybe a slightly rusty lock on the balcony's door. Cozy small room with good bed and linens. There is a kettle and some tea. Different towels, soap, shampoo. Hot water came out quickly in the shower(7th floor) and there is a decent hairdryer. There was hot air conditioner in the room. It heated the room rather slowly. But kept the temperature well. In the morning we went to breakfast(from 7 to 10 o'clock). The place looks like an ordinary common dining room, but quite normal in appearance. For 3 stars, probably ok. The food... after the New Year in restaurant I had a heaviness in my stomach, so I did not taste it, but my wife and mother were satisfied. Coffee, tea, yoghurts, vegetable salads, rolls, fruits. It seems that there was something else... yes, I think for a 3-star breakfast was normal too. ...There is a small free public parking near the hotel. (-) Some minor things: Water disappeared in the morning, but they noticed this and quickly corrected themselves. There is no refrigerator. No bathrobes and slippers. No toothbrushes or toothpaste. I probably didn't like only one thing(not minor disadvantage): the open trash can in the toilet. I think it's clear why I consider this as a disadvantage.

No wifi, dirty sheets, towels on the floor, no shampoo, AC broken and worst service Iโ€™ve experienced.

Overall, old rooms, no towels until I asked. No glass in the bathroom. Swimming pool ok, but again had to wait long for towels

Absolutely terrible, the hotel is old and decaying, it might have been a decent hotel back when there were no other hotels in the area but now it's hideous. The staff is rude and make no effort at all to help you with anything. We arrived late in the night and they told us that both the elevators were broken and we had to take the stairs. Taking the stairs with bags while being on the 8th floor, imagine that! They didn't try to help at all, it was terrible. Both the rooms and the common areas of the hotel are dirty, like absolutely disgusting, highly doubt any of it has been cleaned in years. Just terrible over all, just avoid this hotel

From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, the hotel's staff made me feel like royalty. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care created an atmosphere of pure hospitality. I can't wait to return

This hotel has no right to charge what it does even during Passover. It has not been renovated in about 20 years, the pillows were probably about 25 years old and made up of cotton wool balls. When i asked for proper pillows, they replaced them with the same kind and then said โ€œwe donโ€™t actually have any full pillows. Try putting one on top of the other.โ€ The food was average and at times average-to-decent. Until they decide to renovate the halls and bedrooms and bathrooms, no one should waste their money on it. If it wasnโ€™t for the location, this would be ranked as a 1 star.

Every single pillow, sheet, and towel had a stain on it. The room layouts just donโ€™t make any sense and have zero space for multiple pieces of luggage. There was no air conditioning in common spaces (hallways, lobby, dining room) which made the already very humid hotel smell like moisture and made it very unpleasant to walk around. The air conditioning units in the rooms are not adjustable so some rooms are ice cold and others donโ€™t get cold at all. The showers were tiny and the water pressure was so bad I left with cuts on my back. Every single bathroom floor flooded after 5 minutes of showering (which is actually the time it takes for the water to turn hot). I hope to never have the misfortune of returning to the King Solomon Hotel (which is supposed to be one of the nicest in the area - crazy!)

  • 1/5 Abi L. 6 months ago on Google
Hotel King Solomon in Netanya completely dilapidated and unsanitary due to work currently taking place at the hotel: July, August, September 2023. And for an indefinite amount of time. Itโ€™s notable that nowhere is it signalled (travel platforms and hotel website) that the hotel is on works, and that none of the services it claims to offer are guaranteed in: jacuzzi, spa, gym, pool, bar, Wi-Fi connection and ยซย Israeli breakfastย ยป as guaranteed. Itโ€™s a matter of stale cookies, uneatable. In addition, there's no milk, fruit or juice. Consequently, hygiene is totally disregarded. Sheets and pillows are stained. Mattresses have holes. The rooms are dirty, as are the common areas (photos attached). What's more, the staff are not at all friendly. Ignoring all this with our family and not being able to enjoy our stay as it should be for what we paid, the hotel management categorically refused to make us any discount nor compensation. So run away from this unsightly hotel and go instead to the Leonardo Plazza, for example. Which is a place of services and humankind.

Rooms were nice but for a single person... service not so bad, the location just fantastic ๐Ÿ˜

If I could give zero stars I would. Lets start off with the unusable locks, the broken showers, and the apparent MASSIVE difficulty the front desk has with even bothering with any of this. Also, what is the point of having two different times for the pool? If you don't want to be a hotel then sell it to somebody who does.

Absolute horror movie of a hotel. BED BUGS in multiple rooms! Cockroaches, yellow bed spread, mold all over the ceiling and AC unit. Completely horrid and unacceptable. Do NOT stay here, youโ€™d be better off sleeping in your car or on a park bench.

Great location, good rooms, and an "all you can eat" breakfast. A good vacation at a reasonable price.

We had a room with a very nice view from the 17th floor. Very near to the dead sea and with an own beach. Very comfortable to stay there. The food (buffet) was not as good as expected but the selection was big.

We arrived late at night to a dirty room, dirty towels, safe not working, door to balcony not working, 3 hangers in cupboards. The furniture is old and falling apart etc. The breakfast is very very poor: even the coffee doesnโ€™t taste good. Croissants ( are they?) taste old as well as other items. Shame as the view from the balcony is great and the pool is good. Disappointing.
