Finally a 5 star hotel in Netanya

We arrived when the room was dirty, hair all over the floor, toilet wasnt cleaned, there was nothing in the mini bar and only an empty tissue box. Then the shower was broken and we had a huge flood in the bathroom, they said they couldnt fix it so we had to move rooms (alone) at almost midnight. In the new room we still had a flood after the shower and the safety box wasnt working either. When we tried calling the lobby or room service we would wait on line for about 20 minutes with the excuse that they had so much to do eventhough the hotel was half empty. Breakfast was simply not good, no variety, needing to wait a long time to get my eggs and the service was bad and unfriendly. It was unfortunate that after all that not even the management was very helpful or nice - we decided to check out 2 days early - a very sad experience!!!

Excellent condition and the tower is amazing. A view it's the best.

The good: Clean and luxurious rooms. Very good spread for breakfast. The beach is just a 2 min walk. The bad: Signs (in the restaurant and lifts) are only in Hebrew. Some of the staff got confused when asked questions about day trips, availability of water in rooms, etc. . One made a mistake in billing - giving us a bill for Shekels while deducting in dollars. But these were probably only because of inexperience. The dinner menu is very limited.

A very modern hotel with good facilities. Swimming pool, great spa which is very large, a variety of restaurants in and around the building, a מכולת, all situated right next to the sea. Wonderful views from the bedrooms. A little far from the centre of netanya,

The Lagoon hotel is closed. Next to it there is a synagogue ashkénaze and sefarad.
