Netanya (Sergeant's) Woods is a small Urban forest with some history. A failed negotiation between The Etzel (or The Irgun) and The British in 1947 - one year before the establishment of The State of Israel - led to three executions by the British and two by the Etzel, which took place in this forest. In present days it's a very calm place to hangout or practice sports. The shade can be very comforting in the heat of the day. The paths run in a 1.5 km loop and branches out in different places. Playground on spot.

Great nature experience in the city. The pond is cute with a few ducks. The woods are filled with protected wild flowers and birds.

A lovely big park to go and have some picnics, walks or taking your dogs out.

Very nicely re-done. Cleaned up. They stopped up the drainage so there is a mini-wetland (it will probably dry up in the summer) with ducks, birds, frogs, etc. There are signs showing the local flora and fauna and a boardwalk over the wet parts. No bathroom inside the park and no barbequing allowed there.

best place to hide bodies i mean really the amount of bodies hidden there is shocking i personally find it best to hide them under a tree because why would anyone dig up a tree? eyy? get me?????

Lovely little nature retreat in the middle of the city. Many opportunities for birdwatching. Shame that the viewing tower is gone, though.

In winter time it's such a peaceful and beautiful piece of nature.

Nice park, but no public restroom. Biggest problem for most public places in Israel.
