Let me share my experience at the ritz in hertzalia I was pulling up at 4 in the afternoon at the entrance to the hotel there is nowhere to place my car they told me I should go to the parking garage. So I continue to the garage and there are no signs I enter the garage and thank god for some reason I went down a extra flight to the hotel parking lot (there are no signs) . I get out of my car and try to get to the lobby to check in but the door is locked because I don’t have a key yet. I ring the bell and after no answer someone leaving the hotel let’s me in . The person at the counter was really nice and helpful I told him I would need a crib sure he said so I went to my room. The room was very nice but lacking lots of maintenance. The bathroom door was rubbing on the floor and would only open half way. A couple of flies flying around. The chairs on the porch was full of holes and one of the floor part was broken I was scared my kids foot would get stuck inside. Hour later I want to start putting my kid in call the front desk about the crib and they say sure it’s coming. Waited another half hour call again it’s coming oh well. Anyways after another 2 times finally someone brings me a crib. Now the views in the hotel are stunning And really nice furniture but it’s really not kept up well. In the morning we head down for breakfast the selection was really nice I took some food for myself and got a slice of bread for my kid it was really nice and enjoyable but when my wife went to get a second slice of bread I realized there was yes “REAL MOLD” on the bread I showed the waiter and he took away the tray of bread but it’s ain’t no five star hotel serving moldy bread for breakfast. Then I went to the spa it was really great 5 star Really beautiful and again the staff are all really great. Then I went to the roof it’s really stunning up there I wish the pool would be at least 6 times the size it’s really small for any pool I have been too but the views and bar are all very nice so while this hotel has some really bad parts there are some that are really very nice.

This hotel meets all the expectations of a Ritz hotel. Amazing rooms, great views of the harbour and beach, terrific location and unbelievable service. I would recommend doing the room service vs the buffet breakfast. It is 1/2 the cost and the in room dining was even better than the buffet. Overall amazing hotel and service.

I don’t even know where to begin on this review. I was blown away in every sense at this hotel. First of all, the hotel itself is beautiful. It is luxurious and comfortable. It smells nice and is mostly quiet. The rooms are so spacious. The standard room here is much bigger than a standard room in any other hotel. The views are beautiful from every point in the hotel. They have a beautiful gym room that has a gorgeous view. The pool area is always clean and they have an amazing poolside menu. Next up we have the staff. The staff here is unlike anything I have ever seen. They are so warm and friendly. Nothing is too difficult for them. There’s absolutely no attitude towards you. The staff at the pool help you in any way you need. The front desk members are patient and resourceful. They are also incredible with children. I came with a large family and they were so incredible with the kids. They bought out toys for the children to play with. Whatever questions the children made them crazy with, they answered calmly and patiently. That’s something you don’t see every day. When I got to the hotel, it was very late at night and the bell boy was incredible. We had a large insect in the room and the bell boy stayed to help us get rid of it. I’m talking about 3/4 a.m. He made sure we were 100% ok before leaving. I had the most incredible, memorable experience here. If you’re looking for luxury that’s accommodating to children, this is definitely your best bet.

Cheap furniture, broken tile in the balcony, dirty AC opening, everything looks old and simple for the same price as some of the best quality hotels in Europe. It feels like we're paying top dollars for low quality compared to anywhere else in the world for the same price. The amazing view and the friendly staff balance it all out.

The hotel itself is magnificent. Great views. Great amenities. Everything you would expect of a 5-star hotel. However one thing was disappointing and definitely not up to par. The service from beginning to end was what you would expect in a 3-star motel. The staff was rude, we had to switch rooms because we were given the wrong room at first. We were lied to regarding extra fees. The staff spoke down to us, we called back to complain about the fees and couldn’t get through to manager. We were promised a callback which never happened. When you go to such a hotel service is a crucial part of the experience you are paying for, and this was laughable. I couldn’t rent a beautiful apartment for less and not have to deal with such people. I want to give zero stars but the actual hotel deserves a higher rating.

I have spent two nights, and it was terrific. I have been pampered to the whole capacity. The food was exceptionally delicious. The nearby beaches are perfect to reach and access.

We enjoyed a fantastic spa experience and delightful lunch at this hotel. I'd like to extend my gratitude and give Shani a well-deserved 5-star rating for her friendly and approachable assistance from the very start when I booked my appointment. Her outstanding customer service continued upon our arrival, setting the tone for a remarkable visit. The entire spa staff displayed amazing professionalism, and our pool visit was equally impressive. Despite a minor electric issue upon our departure, the exceptional service more than made up for it. I highly recommend this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. ❤️

Rooms with good view(Marina view and beach view). I have stayed here for 12 days and changed my room twice.. very polite , supportive and attentive staff. They try to fulfil all your requests. Morning breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of option. Multiple option available for spas service .used sauna here.. well maintained, neat & clean and hygienic. Fast room service. Good collection of wines. Placed dinner order 2-3 times and that’s the only bad experience I had here.. cold and old food..

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly Great service! Super Friendly and attentive staff, there with anything you need. Food! We stayed for 2 days and spent 400 dollars between breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks for 2 people, and we didn’t skimp. Very happy with the quality and service. Milk food by the bar, meat by the pool, and the Herbert Samuel restaurant in the hotel was great! The beach was also great, towels and water are provided to you by the front desk, that said you do have to walk a few minutes as the hotel is on the marina not the beach, and chairs are not included. We rented reclining chairs and an umbrella for 80 shekel, not too bad. That said here are some negatives. There isnt much to do other than the beach. The marina has a sailboat you can go out on for 1200 shekel for two hours, but that’s not super appealing in my opinion. You can rent bikes on the boardwalk. Besides for that, entertainment is somewhat limited. The pool and pool area are ridiculous for such as large and expensive hotel. The pool is probably 25 feet long and 15 feet wide, and there are maybe 30 chairs. For a hotel that size and caliber that is quite disappointing. It gets super crowded and everyone gets in each other’s space. As for the rest of the hotel, it is nice but somewhat generic, and a little on the old side. Some damaged furniture wallpaper etc. Showers are quite good though 😊 We got a nice marina view, (which by the way gets flooded with other tourists) but be warned that you can hear music till around midnight. Not super loud but not great if you are a light sleeper. Overall we had a great time though, and will return. Mostly because it’s quite rare to have a high end beach hotel with kosher food. But I would understand if people that don’t need kosher food would be disappointed to spend 800+ per night (or even booked with points) with the negatives above. To the staff though, I raise a toast 😊 it was a pleasure meeting you! Speaking of toast, the all you can eat breakfast for 140 shekel, is actually amazing. Stations galore, including a on demand eggs and pancakes station, and any other breakfast related food, salad, fruit you can think of. Honestly you can sit there for 4 hours if you are so inclined. Until next time!

Poor and borderline rude service from the reception. Unable to manage reservations effectively resulting in delay of room assignments (past 3pm) and changes in guarantee rooms. Not meeting the Ritz Carlton bar of quality and customer service.

Let me start by saying that I was really hoping to leave 5 stars but was disappointed multiple times. Celebrating an anniversary. Place was really nice. Staff really friendly. Upgraded our room for the occasion etc. I work in maintenance and construction and was pretty taken aback for what is considered a high end (really expensive) place. Let me list a few issues. Toilet seat falling off and making noises. Shower keeps shutting itself off. Missing/burnt out light bulbs few locations. Doors sagging. Now if the story ends there I would've takin one star off (****) being that the staff were so nice/ appreciated the upgrade. When I was checking out I wrote up a list for the front desk and advised them to sort it out and check other rooms for similar issues. Man at front desk checkout says "Ok we are sorry and "we will be in touch with you to sort out your experience". Now I didn't mention the issues as a way to receive anything just felt it was important for them to know. Week later. No response or follow up. I call again and speak to the guy at the front desk (who was the one at checkout). He tells me "customer relations will reach out to you". Week goes by. Nothing. Call again (getting kinda annoyed) Call center answers and promises to pass on the info to the guy at front desk as well as customer relations. Week goes by. Nothing. Called a third and final time and they say they will have someone call. Nothing. P.S. please don't write that you would love to talk to me about this experience because all I've experienced is disrespect and non responsiveness. You know who I am and your welcome to call. I will NOT be reaching out again.

Stay away!!! Not worth your money....The service was so bad that we have decided to leave after few hours and not stay the two nights that we intended. The so called rooms with 'see view' are actually looking at the roof of the building below and the nearby very busy road. It is relatively very expensive. You can definitely get more for your money with the many better options in the area.

The hotel is wonderful, it looks great, feels great. Excellent location on the marina with many shopping and dining option. The on roof pool is amazing with great snacks and cocktails. But, and it's a big but for me, the bed was horrible, I couldn't sleep. I cam to rest and left exhausted.

Ok... So I need to explain why 4 and not 5? 2 small things: 1. The swimming pool space is really too small. Located on the roof, you have a great view, the problem is that the pool & the space around it is too small and cannot get every one. 2. The price... there are a lot of other hotels with almost the same quality that are half the price. So yes, if you look for the best, it is close to it, but common... you are pushing it with 2400 shkl BB...

I had a beautiful 1 bedroom suite overlooking the beach. The room was spacious, comfortable, very high tech, very well furnished. Staff was professional and courteous. Nice rooftop pool/bar/lounge. Pool isn't very big but sufficient. The location is a bit off, as it's in the marina and not directly on the beach. But it was only a small inconvenie nce. Highly recommended. Photos are view from my room (beach) and rooftop pool (sunset)

It was wise of them to give us a free upgrade because this facility is dated and the spa, pool, and rooftop bar was closed for renovations. They have been closed for over 2 months and we didn’t know this when booked. Shame because I was looking forward to the spa, swimming, and sitting out on the rooftop. We’ve stayed at other Ritz’s and this hotel and experience is on the lower end of the wow factor. Our room on the 8th floor have a nice view of the marina and beach but there’s another building right in front that faces into our living room and bedroom window, so it’s not private. Single paned windows lets in conversations and loud noises from our neighbors, we can hear television, and kids screaming from the marina even with all of our windows closed. We appreciate the upgrade to a one bedroom with a kitchen, but this was fair considering that many amenities were not available. The service is just ok, nothing impressive. This is like a nice 3 or 4 stars Marriott, not a true 5 stars experience. They are not warm and friendly wanting to go above and beyond. This ain’t no world class service like the Maldives, heh. Housekeeping could’ve cleaned the room better, there’s dead flies and stains on the floor that we saw from the first day we checked in til 3 days later before we left. The bed: Could be more comfortable. We felt the springs in the mattress and the pillows were small… maybe basic standard size when it should have been a king size and fill out the bed more. What were they thinking? The bed should be luxurious and it wasn’t. Take a look at the photo I attached. We have stayed at better Marriott’s or Hiltons. The bed and sleeping experience was below a 5 stars. The pillows feel cheap and made me miss my bed at home. No full length mirror! What a miss. The daily minibar knock and enter is so disruptive and disturbing, especially since I work from here. Incredibly awkward to have someone come in and inspect the minibar when I am here. Can’t they just check when the housekeeper is here to clean?! Or can’t they just check upon checking out?! It’s only a few items, really not worth the invasion. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was just ok. The space was very small. The desserts items were diverse, the cheese selection was good, but many items that should’ve been hot like cooked salmon were left out cold and dry on a plate. They should invest in food heaters. The shaksukas were also stale and not kept hot. It was convenient to dine here but I wasn’t impressed, as I have had better experiences in other Ritz’s and other places. This Ritz Carlton is dated and in severe need of a renovation, for their rooms, especially the bathrooms, and the common areas. There is a strong artificial perfume smell all throughout the common areas that is disturbing to the senses, as if they’re trying to hide something, sewage smell or a strong odor. It’s rather unpleasant and if you’re scent sensitive it can make you nauseas. We wouldn’t stay here again.

One of the lights in my room couldn't be turned off. I called the front desk multiple times and they said somebody was on their way to come take a look, but half an hour later nobody had turned up yet. Not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. Also, there was a charge on my bill for something I hadn't consumed. This was fixed later, but again, not what I would expect.

Great hotel, mainly for the view and the extraordinary service. We stayed there for the weekend the whole family and and great time. A special appreciation to Amir Marom the guest relation desk manager, who took as a mission to make our stay special and unforgettable. Looking forward to stay soon once again.

Came here with my family, the rooms were clean and nice and the food and service is A++, the location however does not have much to do if you are traveling with children. Next time I will stay in Tel Aviv longer and just stop in for the Herbert Samuel restaurant.

Beautiful location and well designed rooms but I'm afraid I think some of the staff were racist. I am black and proudly African. I noticed some were reluctant to attend to me because of my color. I will never stay here again.

Incredible experience! When I booked the hotel, I had let them know it was our anniversary. I did not expect them to pull out all the stops like this - room upgrade, champaign upon check in and wine in the room, free drink from Jason, the best mixologist in Israel, at dinner and the list goes on. They made this stay amazing and could not recommend it enough - for a quick getaway or a family rip.

Staff was very welcoming, with champagne glasses. The room was great, clean with a perfect view. The food was very good, both breakfast and dinner. A great relaxing experience all in all. The only downside is the pool area is rather small and crowded with furnitures.

(We have platinum, arrived for one night) Check-in: Yael at check-in was professional and welcomed us with a welcome drink (we also received some snacks and a bottle of wine in our room upon check-in). Room (after upgrade): while the room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom was subpar, and the view was fairly limited, being both low floor and further away from the beach. Service: the service was quite inconsistent. while the people at reception were courteous and nice, and we were offered turndown service which included some more snacks, requests made over the phone the next morning took an unexpectedly long time to be fulfilled (2+ hours to receive a bottle of water). Parking: the pricing for hotel guests is 60 ils/24 hours, 75 ils for non-guests. That being said, the system doesn't work well if you park before check-in (which I presume most people do) and this ended up with us having to chat back and forth with the hotel before we got things straightened out. I know this issue happened to at least one other person we came across in the parking lot, so I'm guessing it probably happens frequently and should be addressed by the hotel. The location is quite convenient with the beach nearby and a mall next to the hotel, but honestly if I was just touring around Israel I'd opt for the similarly priced beach hotels in Tel Aviv (some of which seem more recently renovated).

This is an AMAZING property. I have so many good things to say about my many stays here. Location: 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Tel Aviv, the property sits right on the Herzliya marina with a perfect view of the sea. There are plenty of high quality restaurants on the marina downstairs from the hotel and many more restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. The beach is also a short 3 minute walk. The location and layout make everything very accessible. Even the bus stop is a 15 second walk literally across the street from the property. Spa: The spa is lovely. From the relaxation room to the dry sauna to the hammam (steam room/wet sauna), you will not be disappointed. The relaxation room has a beautiful view. It also has a station with refreshments such as tea, water, fruit, nuts, and more. The massages are always pleasant. I've been quite a few times. Rooms: The rooms are elegant and spacious. Large bathrooms, large bathtubs, wonderful beds, and nice balconies. I've stayed in 4-5 room types at this property. I'll attach some of the views from the balcony and the bed. Customer service: I wanted to personally thank the people who have been extremely kind and accommodating to me at this property in this review, but to be honest the list would be too long. From the doormen, to the check in process at the front desk, to the room service, the service at the Ritz Carlton Herzliya has always been top notch. Over the top at that even. The staff remember my name, my occupation, even what specific room I like to stay in when I visit. As a lifetime titanium elite member, I felt acknowledged and appreciated. To all the staff at this wonderful property, thank you and see you again soon!

Great time out! We had nice massage, airy space with minimum other ppl, calm environment! The staff constantly checks that everything is in place and all is shiny and clean. The pool on the roof is not covered, but slightly warm and is a great refresher. If you like SPA, you will not find many better places!

We were at the spa at Ritz Carlton Hertzlia to celebrate my spouse birthday and it's without any doubt the BEST spa in Israel. The staff is extremely nice and professional, and the 90 min massage was amazing. Huge thanks to Anastasia that took care of us and even prepared us a little surprise gift for the birthday. We will definitely come back again!

I was really well surprised by the exceptional service we got from everyone at this hotel. The staff was polite, helpful and always approached us with a smile. The room was very nice, spacious, clean and with a lovely view. Most of the guests over the weekend were ultra religious families, so the atmosphere was designed to accommodate them. The swimming pool is a bit neglected with no towels or a bar to order a drink from. The view is nice though. The selection at breakfast was a bit repetitive and limited comparing to other hotels in Tel Aviv from this category.

Easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms, food and service was top notch. The customer service team was second to none! They had answers to all of our questions and accommodated every single one of our needs! I was there for business but would definitely book there if I am back on vacation! Also must add Noa you are amazing! The way you took care of our team was greatly appreciated! Thank you all!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very responsive. However, management is subpar. The Saturday morning on duty manager would not give me a late checkout even though it took me until 6pm to check in (as I arrived at 2pm). This was after being told multiple times that I could check out late. I was forced to leave my family lunch to quickly pack. Her demeanor was rude and inconsiderate.

I would not define the stay as a disappointment but the expectation was for one of the top hotels, and Ritz Carlton was just not there. For the price we paid, you can get higher quality in other hotels. I will start at the pool where there was a shortage of towels and the maintenance man kept running to collect some towels in order to get them for a wash and fill more towels. Such a basic shortage is not something you would expect from a hotel like this. Then we ordered cocktails, which throughout our visit to Israel were excellent everywhere we ordered. The cocktails at the pool were just disappointing. I have no other word to describe. Then we went through the lobby and wanted coffee. It turns out that it is impossible to get regular milk because it is a non diary bar. I have never come across a lobby that has not served standard milk with coffee. Understand that it is not possible to mix milk and meat, but all other hotels find a way to keep kosher and still serve basic products to their guests. We had to go to the room and there was no milk. We asked for milk and then we found out that there is no electric kettle. Of course they sent us, but this is a standard so why should anything like this be ordered? The bed is quite poor quality with uncomfortable pillows. The kind of thing you'd expect to see in hostels but not in a five-star hotel. Small things maybe, but definitely disappointing. The room is very clean, amazing view, proximity to the promenade, and the marina is real fun. Average breakfast. Standard good service. In conclusion, we could get a lot more out of the money we have invested in another hotel.

After staying a week and enjoying the amenities, I was expecting more. The hotel itself is kept up nicely and the aesthetics were top of the line including spacious bathrooms with marble floors, large standing shower with granite floors and seat, powerful waterfall shower head, long sink counter with two sinks, spacious closets, large king sized bed, and two large sliding glass doors leading to a balcony. I was "upgraded" to a room with a "view of the city", but it was looking directly into a hillside where construction was taking place while overlooking the heavily trafficked street below. The bathroom floor would flood from the failed seal from the shower door. Breakfast was amazing! Absolutely the best part of the experience where you could sit and eat outside on the balcony and overlook the marina while enjoying the coolness of the shade. Shabbat evening is a set menu and there is no deviation and they do not provide room service. If you want to eat, make sure you eat out that night.

I came here after my bar mitzvah trip to stay and relax for a few days, first off the windows were a bit foggy but were being washed, other than that, the rooms were average but very comfortable, the pool was excellent and the best part was the service, EVERYONE was so nice! Not one staff member did anything rude or annoying, the staff were very easygoing and fun, and overall, this was a 5 star experience for me!

My husband and I with our two month old baby stayed for a weekend (Friday night) at the hotel with half board at the end of May. The things that stood out about the Ritz hotel is that it feels luxurious as far as the atmosphere goes from the furniture in the lobby and spacious rooms to the services provided and bathtub, double sink, and shower in the bathroom. This hotel is very "American" in its service, choice of food, service and equipment. We enjoyed the room the most and it was the thing that stood out from other hotels we were at. The studio room had a big beautiful bathroom with LARGE bathtub and double sink, and separated toilet and shower. They offered a lot of towels - more than we could even ask for and the towels were very big and thick. They also had really nice big robes the quality of the towels and robes were not like Israeli standard. It was thicker and softer. I really liked that when we checked into the hotel, they offered complimentary cold spiced alcoholic grapefruit juice with fresh fruit (pineapple, melon, watermelon, etc.) chocolate truffles and cake. This is out during the day and I think its a nice touch. The bathroom was equiped with a razor and a mini shaving cream, a toothbrush with toothpaste, mouthwash and such. This was a fantastic touch. There was a lot of soap, conditioner , shampoo, and lotion. It all smelled great. More on the masculine side. I have to note the view from the room was fantastic! They upgraded our room from a superior to a corner studio and we had a view to the marina and the ocean. It was nice to spend time drink tea and eat on the porch. With all of this said, I took off a star on this rating because we were pretty disappointed by the SIZE of the POOL and the number of seating areas. It is VERY SMALL for the amount of guest that this hotel can fit and it felt crowded and too intimate when we just wanted a bit of space. We didn't even use it because it felt too crowded. In addition, we were also disappointed by the variety of food. It wasn't bad. It was tasty and fresh and better than other hotels but we were expecting GOURMET food with INNOVATIVE flavors for the price we paid. In hindsight, we should've just paid for the hotel without meals and have gone to a great restaurant in the area(there are so many!). I'm not sure it was worth the price. It is very expensive for half board during the weekend. A hotel nearby has a bigger swimming pool with a better view of the ocean. In hindsight, we would have probably gone to another place because we were looking for a place with exciting food and a fantastic view of the he ocean. I took a star off from the service because it was good overall but we asked for a crib in the bedroom and when we got to the room it was not there despite them telling us it was and when we asked for one it took quite a while (hours) for them to bring one.

I booked two nights for my sister’s birthday in March 2022 and the service was above and beyond. The Marina View room was exactly what my sister and mom needed. It’s so spacious and accommodating words can’t really describe. I want to take Roy who helped me with the reservation and exceeded our expectations, to Keren who helped me surprised my sister with some treats delivered to the room, to Orit from Guest Relation who was in touch with me the all time and made sure everything is going smoothly and helped decorating the room, and to Megguy from the Spa who also surprised both my mom and sister with extra care and love. We all call the Ritz-Carlton as our second home in Israel and we are 100% sure we will come back. Thank you all 😊

Hi, I did a birthday present for my wife at this spa place on the Ritz-Carlton, it was a disaster for her, and for our entire day. Our spa was on 16:00 , we were late for few minutes due to puncture in the car and due to not able to find a parking there. nobody said that we need to be there half hour before the massage starts. They didn't try to make it up to us nor try to finish the message at 17:00. We entered the room on 16:20 after changing clothes , then she did only approx 10 minutes message , that I paid for like 900 shekels ~(250$).
