We arrived at the Hotel Okeanos BaMarina in Herzlya, Israel, around 8 PM during the week on February, 2020. The hotel is in fact an apart-hotel, and we were received by someone who gave us the keys to our room and told us that from then on all the communication would be conducted via WhatsApp or an emergency phone number. We went to our room and after we settled in, I noticed that the bed was broken, literally broken. I called the emergency number immediately, but was told that they could not help us by that time of the night (around 9 PM!), and that we should talk to them in the morning. I slept on the part of the bed that was not broken, and my husband slept on the sofa — but there were not sheets or really anything else, and he had to use the bath robe as blanket. I am 70 years old and my husband is 77. The day after someone tried to help us, meaning tried to fix the broken bed, but then we noticed that the mattress itself was broken. He tried to find a new mattress, but could not find one that fit the bed. We had no other solution, so we ended up staying at the hotel for 9 days, sleeping on the regular-size mattress on a queen-size bed, which was utterly uncomfortable. The pillows too horrible, of very poor quality. In sum the experience was one of the worst we ever had in a hotel, the service was terrible & and the room very poorly maintained. Sonia Waisberg

I was visiting Okeanos for a single night in late 2018. Although I had a late check in, the stuff greet me with a smile and with a good attitude. When I got into the room, I noticed there was an issue with the cleaniness of the room. And for a high end hotel, that was an issue for me. The biggest problem was the shower. It had a lot of filth in it, and I couldn't even use it because of it. After posting my original review, I got a call from the management of the hotel. They asked me to delete my review in exchange for another night in the hotel. They claimed that they fixed everything, and I should consider visiting again. When I tryed to claim that benefit of a free night in the hotel at the start of 2019, they told me that offer is not valid anymore, and that I should have used it in 2018. Because of that, my original review is back. I can't change it unless I see in my own eyes that they fixed it. And as far as I'm concerned, if that's their attitude toward guests, I'm not paying high end amount to check it for myself.

I stayed for around 30 days during one of my business trips. I personally loved the place. Room: I stayed in a suite with one bedroom, a kitchenette that contained microwave, minibar and induction plate with a decent set of utensils, a moderately big living area that can accommodate a sofa set and television, a small room with wardrobe, safe and a pressing table. Bathroom was good enough for a regular stay. Service: The staff is friendly and warm in nature. Plus points: Good beach view, close to Arena mall which can cater to most of your needs, walkable distance from public bus stop. Overall experience: Great

After staying in awful accommodation last year in hertzalia I was a little worried for this year. Well what can I say. WOW. we are staying in a one bed apartment,( no balcony you have to pay more for balcony ) check in was a pleasure these apartment are under new management and there customer service was /is amazing? on arrival they made sure everything I wanted I received the apartment was spotless and in good order. The pool I think is one of the best in the area with nice sunbeds umbrellas and a great life guard the only thing it misses is a cafe but that was fine as we took drinks down with us , The location. Is great it’s next to a lovely beach. Five min walk to the Mariana shopping mall and all the restaurants. I really can recommend these apartments highly enough and the new management company well done for making a difference and caring

Horrible customer service. Room was filthy when we arrived. There was only one pillow on the bad. Access to pool is ridiculous and difficult. There was just no communication what so ever about any of the amenities. The only good thing was the view and price.

A very old apartments hotel in a perfect location, right on Herzeliya's marina. The hotel is part of a residential building, so there aren't that many hotel-related services (like room service). It does have a very nice outdoor swimming pool, though, and a fully equipped gym (located in the same complex of the pool.) Rooms here are actually little studio apartment with a kitchenette and a fairly but living room with an amazing view to the marina and sea. However, as noted above, the rooms are old and not very well maintained. If you're not planning to spend your time in the room, this this hotel is perfectly fine to sleep in and move on to your daily schedule. It's proximity to the beach, the seaside views, and the outdoor pool make it a worthwhile compromise.

This is an apartment complex that has some rooms that are rented. Location is great, the apartment complex is clean and nicely laid out. Checked n and Checkout processes was simple (all thru WhatsApp). The apartment itself is fine for a week trip - no frills and not like a 5-star hotel. But tilt was clean and functional. The only negative was the bed- not very comfortable. The kitchen with refrigerator and microwave worked fine. I didnt try to cook so not sure about the other appliances. Overall- it was well worth the price. The surrounding area has restaurants, the beach, and a grocery store- so perfect for being to stay local and walk to get food or drinks. There is a well stocked gym but you have to go to the fro t desk and get a special key, and then walk out thru the parking garage.

It took a while to find as the building we were in had no name but the guy came down and literally walked us in to the building. Parking was either underground or in a secure park at the front. The apartment was fabulous and we could easily have stayed a week there with everything we needed onsite. There was plenty of room for 4 people too. We were only there one night so didn't get to use any facilities which was a shame. Wifi was good, the rooms were quiet and clean and there were plenty of places to eat within a few minutes walk - we'd recommend CafeCafe.

Prime location!!! (Hertzliya Marina) Very spacious, modern & well-equipped apartment!!! Available (free) parking at premises! Excellent customer service and support! 1-minute walking from Herzliya's Stars beach! Reasonable prices. I will certainly book this apartment upon my next visit to Israel!!!

Disclaimer: This is NOT a hotel, despite advertising the modern amenities and conveniences of a hotel on their website. Backstory: We stayed for two nights for a wedding. The room itself was spacious and slept 4 comfortably. However, we only had 2 towels, and the “hotel” does not have staff after 9pm. We got to Hertzliya later than anticipated, so we ended up checking in around then and by the time we realized how poorly stocked our room was, staff was no longer around and we had to call one number and was told knock on a door that went unanswered, then call another number before someone finally delivered towels probably two hours later (quite late at night by now, we were trying to get ready for bed). We had been communicating with the hotel via email as part of the wedding block, and when we asked how to actually book our reservation with the wedding discount code, they emailed us saying they’ve already reserved our room for us. Cool! So it was quite a shock when we got an extra charge on our card the next day for having 4 people. Nowhere in our email threads did the hotel ask how many will be staying, and the room was advertised as sleeping 5 people! By the way, before we even checked in, the hotel messaged us on WhatsApp asking if they could swipe our card before we even got to the hotel. What the heck? Furthermore, our mini fridge was broken, and the shower was an uncontainable disaster, so we had to mop up the bathroom afterwards with the few towels we had. Other guests of the wedding reported similar conditions in their rooms. The security guard at the front desk was rude, unhappy, and unhelpful. Glad to have left and we’ve booked separate accommodations for the rest of our 10 day trip. I will not be staying here ever again.

Although the location is great the apartment and customer service were very disappointing. Maintenance of the apartment is poor and it shows most in the bathrooms who were not clean.

Hello! I'm already here, already paid and no much I can do for myself. I'm totally writting for you, the person who is thinking of booking and still didn't, please save yourself a lot of trouble and take your family and your money elsewhere. I mean it. Been here only for a few hours. We booked 5 rooms for 3 weeks!! The pictures fooled us too!!! We booked studio apartments with ocean view, well the 5 rooms are TOTALLY different from each other. One overlooks the ocean, another one the parking lot and so on. One has a big fridge, another one has a mini bar for example. One has a big closet, another has an empty room where we believe there is supposed to be closet furniture. One has a tub, another has a shower smaller than what you get on a cruise ship! I know! You might get lucky, you think, well... think twice!!! The AC since we got here (6am) until now 8.30pm on room 811 is not working. The shower on room 615 is missing a piece so if you try to get a shower, you will get the entire bathroom floaded!! They sent a person to do the repairs, he did NOTHING. We will have to sleep in hertzlyia in july with no AC!!! One of my family member wanted the sofa bed to be made but since he requested it after 4pm there is no such option available, no one to help or bring sheets. If you want to speak with a human being, good luck at it! The only contact you get is via whatsapp with a rude person who doesn't solve anything. If you type in hebrew, she (bar) answers in english. If you respond in english, she goes to spanish.. really auckaward situation. Please, do yourself a favor, go elsewhere while you still can. A lot more issues, but I will write another review tomorrow, we flew half way around the globe to get here and it definetly was a mistake. You can still save your money and your vacation time!

Everything was amazing. On the day of our arrival we received instructions via WhatsApp regarding parking spaces and other available amenities. The room was clean and spacious, as well as all other areas of the complex. The pool was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. The location itself is second to none, a few moments from the beach and from the Marina boardwalk.

We stayed for 1 night at the end of June and the experience was pretty amazing. The room was very clean, neat, and had a really nice appearance. The hotel is also in a very good location, very close to the beach. There is a great pool and also a tasty breakfast. We had a very good experience!

clean, comfy room. swivel tv( not towards the bed) + balcony overlooking the sea. espresso machine for 4 cups. big, soft towels.most amazing part is the pool. super clean. very large with a waterfall. giving it 4 * only cause i was told it closes at 5 on friday and closed on sat (covid). turns out: closes at 6, will be open on shabat (i would have stayed another night). ALSO, once i checked out i wasnt allowed to use the pool, should have told me that before check in

Great location and views. Adequate breakfast but it’s not as elaborate as normal Israeli hotel breakfast. But it’s also not really a hotel. You rent an apartment and get hotel treatment. Staff was very helpful. Great service.
