Great place for birdwatching! Driving advice: To get there, Google knows the best way however there are signs telling you how to drive. The signs take you through a dirt path with lots of bumps and holes so I advise you to turn left where you see the sign that tells you to continue straight. This is a private road but if it is open, it's much faster and smoother - take it under your own responsibility 😉 see the last photo (screenshot) in this review for reference. Enjoy!

Great location to watch the birds. Though it takes 3 km walk from the nearby bus stop. Better if you have a vehicle. Beautiful birds.. I went yesterday, there are still many birds.

The complex is renovated, cared for, very nicely maintained. The pelican sight is amazing. You should bring binoculars because the distance is quite large.

We were tricked by the hype on social media about the large flocks of pelicans that were here during their migration south. And feed on the fish .. well we got here via a road that's not for regular cars. Small SUV is the minimum you'll want to drive the dirt road here. And they weren't here. Maybe twenty on the other side of the pool but not flocks. Guess there's always next time went to the other side

Good location in the center of Israel. Relatively easy to get there.in the season there are a lot of pelicans as well as herons and cormorants.lots of people visiting. There are other areas to go to within a few minutes drive as well with birds.

Nice place to observe birds and have a picnic. No trash cans, carry your own garbage!

Really worth the inconvenient drive to get here. Beautiful and peaceful. Make sure to come at October/November to the migration of the Pelicans

Convenient platform for bird watching. There is a lawn, drinking water and an ice cream shop, parking. no toilet

Nice view point, recommend to combine with a visit to Agamon Hefer. Don't miss a visit during September-October.

Lovely place if you like to observ or bring childern or visitors to observe different type of birds in ther migration way. A week ago I went with friends to see the Pelykans , even it was very light days we could enjoy their dancing flying . Beautiful

A nice lookout. It is an artifical lake. The big problem is, if you don't drive a SUV it is very difficult to get to the spot because of deep holes on the way. Best way to get there is to park the car and walk over ( from Burgeta it is about one hour).

Ok. I imagine when there is migration it would be nice for a quick bird watch. Smells like sewage everywhere due to wastewater plant.

The photos say all - once in a lifetime experience. The birds were stunning and beautiful to watch. There is a large fence between them and the crowd to protect them, which is extremely smart. Unfortunately, the other visitors weren't so quiet and respectful to others Friday afternoon but that's irrelevant to the beauty of the birds. Great picnic area near the parking lot so bring stuff and of course, trash bags to clean up after yourself! There was a little ice cream truck, 15 shekel for an American ice cream. No toilets, but 2 portable bathrooms next to the ice cream truck. Take a large car, there was a massive puddle that caused many cars to have to turn around and find another way in.

Lovely place for bird watching. A lot of pelicans in the middle of November. Best time to arrive is between 10:30 and 11:30. Many people during the weekend.

kids loved it. nice birdwatching. bring your binoculars with you. a bit crowded and difficult to get in/out of parking
