My
first
'discovery'
in
Israel.
Hundreds
of
labeled
tree
species
along
wife
walking
paths,
most
of
them
foreign
to
a
Pacific
Northwestener
like
myself,
with
lots
of
species
from
Australia,
Africa,
South
America,
and
Europe.
My
three
year
old
loved
going
from
tree
to
tree
and
seeing
the
different
needles,
seeds,
etc.
The
bathrooms
were
very
clean,
and
there
were
plenty
of
picnic
tables
and
benches.
We
only
visited
the
forest
on
the
east
side
of
the
highway.
It
appears
there
used
to
be
a
trail
under
the
highway
connecting
it
to
the
forest
on
the
west
side
of
the
highway,
but
it
is
closed
now,
so
we
didn't
visit
that
side.
Highway
noise
is
significant,
but
not
a
deal
breaker
for
us.
I'll
probably
schedule
future
visits
when
there
is
less
traffic.
Oh,
and
there
is
a
brochure
available
in
English
next
to
the
map
sign
in
the
parking
lot.
We
live
close
and
will
be
back
soon.
