If I could rate 0 stars I would. The WORST Chinese food ordering experience i’ve ever had. I ordered/paid for delivery online and even tipped. Upon delivery, I was informed that they didn’t have my payment. This made no sense because how could I have ordered online without entering my payment info? I informed ballydar that if they truly didn’t already charge me, i’d be happy to give my payment info again. So I did (meanwhile the food was sitting outside in the cold as this went on). AFTER PAYING AGAIN, the woman working proceeded to tell me that “next time I need to pay for my delivery” completely ignoring the fact that I DID PAY in the first place and the error was on THEIR END. And then I paid anyway and she has the audacity that I need to pay for my delivery. I damn near lost it and told her their won’t ever be a next time. As if the experience couldn’t get any worse, the chicken was somehow undercooked. I would have been willing to overlook this if not for the disrespectful staff and the hassle of going through all this. Because of that workers RUDENESS, and the disorganization of Ballydar I will never order here again. In fact, I will go out of my way to make sure that everyone I know order chinese food from one of the many other places in the area. Awful experience

Ordered sesame chicken combination platter, got fried chicken with no sesame sauce...and no egg roll. You need to take orders correctly. Thanks for attempting to fix by bringing the egg roll.

Fast Service but some of the menu are not great such as Vegetarian dumpling, veg noodles as there is hardly any vegetables there. I had bad experience with vegetarian dumpling as one of the dumpling was actually filled with meat instead of vegetables.

There are many Chinese take-out restaurants everywhere. Few, in my opinion, stand out. Bally Dar has consistently produced good food at a reasonable price. There are some “Chinese” restaurants that don’t have Chinese people cooking!!! Really?? Do you have a special order? More sauce, cooked well done, hotter spice? Just let them know. It will get done.

If you want ok food but love to wait 2 hrs for your food and the soda was not with the food.....i order at 6pm it is now 8:30pm and no soda

Dont order from them through DoorDash, they’ll only send you a part of your order and they’ll claim they’ll send you your money back.

Thus is my favorite Chinese in NJ! Grew up here and get it everytime I visit.

The rice was hard like rock pebbles.but the other food was so so~

I am pleased with the way they make our chicken dishes correct. Hot food. Friendly people. Sometimes it takes too long. But, overall good food. Worst place to do delivery. A couple times orders were late or wrong. And had seafood in my rice and noodles. I am allergic to seafood too. Will never order from them ever again. 😒

So happy they are open Christmas! They gave me soo much chicken in my general tso's order. So fresh and good as always. I've been a customer for over 15 years.

The lady who answered was so rude and gave me attitude when I tried paying with card. She kept saying the numbers were wrong then yelled at me and said I couldn’t speak English and was being racist cause of my accent. She should not work there if she’s going to have an attitude with customers. Would not recommend at all. DO NOT BUY!!

Food quality definitely went down hill. Like many others said was told delivery would take up to 45 minutes but food arrived 2 hours later and was luke warm at best.

Sweet and sour chicken was very good, dumplings had very little meat in them maybe a ball the size of a quarter total ripoff for 10$. Eggroll wasn't good tasted

They told me it would take 40 minutes to get to my house. But it didn't show up for an hour and half, by which time members of my family had to eat something else because they had someplace to be.

I was rather disappointed with the prices we paid. Not sure if was the items or they raised the prices.
