It was our first time here, and we had a lovely meal at Stoney River. Our server was Alexis, and she was excellent! It was a busy weekend with graduations, so we made a reservation online. My companions and I ordered the tuna stack, hot chicken biscuit, prime rib, and steak salad. Our food was served efficiently despite the number of guests dining, and the food was delicious. We will certainly return to try out some of the other items on the menu.

The restaurant was very accommodating and professional and helped me make my mothers 85th birthday meal special. She told me that she really enjoyed herself! Thanks to the manager and our server, we had a blast. The food is excellent as well along with the ambiance.

This was my 1st time eating at Stoney River. Hear great things about the place and had to try them out. It was my Lady Katrina Bday and wanted steak, and I figured let's try this place together for both our 1st. Service was PHENOMENAL, food EXQUISITE and the ATMOSPHERE WAS BEAUTIFUL. I occasionally visit from out of town and love to come here. It's a really nice atmosphere, and I love to sit at the bar to eat, when I'm on my own. They have great service, and delicious food! This time I had the fish special, Swordfish Vera Cruz, that was so good! My server was Haley, She was so nice and gave me a sample of the feature wine (that I ended up getting.). I hope you are lucky enough to go when Haley and Jewel are working together, because they are great bartenders and you can tell they enjoy working together! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

It’s an honest 5 of 5. The spinach dip was pretty good and I don’t even like Parmesan . The chips were perfect curved to get the right amount on it . I appreciated the way the salt was almost perfectly sprinkled on them. I couldn’t help but to put some of the dip on that crispy roll. Am yea.. cinnamon butter ! Nice touch. My salad came back with bacon on it but I believe it was an honest mistake . Thousand island was pretty dam good . The house salad was very fresh and well put together . We enjoyed our salads all the way down to the bread like croutons. All very delicious and original. That was best rib eye I seen or had a taste of by far . It was my wife’s tho so I only had a bite lol. I got the rib eye and they seared it for me an managed to keep it medium well. For the sides we had the Gouda Mac and cheese. The bread crumbs added the best texture to the dish. The service ! Man ! Worth the tip . I went to sit my plate down and hand came out of seeming nowhere . Grabbed the plate before it hit the table. They manage to keep a clean dining experience without someone hovering over you. Very well organized staff and the teamwork was refreshing to see . Overall this was one of the best dinner dates My Queen and I have had in awhile . Booths were very spacious so I could comfortably sent right next to My Queen. The atmosphere was very intimate and perfectly lit.

Celebrated my daughter's 19th birthday tonight on Easter Sunday and everyone enjoyed their food choices. My twins had the double burger, can't think of the name of it and it's not pictured but it was huge. Our server was awesome, quick witted and quick on his feet. I think his name was Derrick, I'm not good with names lol. Anyway an overall hit for us, thanks Stoney River for accommodating our family and the wonderful food/experience!

Looking for a great tasting steak this is the place to go in Memphis area. Great service 👏, decent selection of complementing wines to go with the food, and the steak rolls are amazing. Highly recommend trying those.

The waiter was very attentive and nice. The atmosphere was nice. Romantic, relaxing, or good ladies' night out vibe. All adults there to eat a yummy meal and enjoy themselves. The prime rib was very tender and good. My spicy margarita was excellent. I had 2, and they put me to sleep. Lol, I will go back very soon for the margaritas. Oh, THE CARROT CAKE... AMAZING!!!

Had a wonderful dinner and our server Derrick was AWESOME! Will definitely be returning soon. The steak rolls and rio pasta are both DELICIOUS!!

This restaurant is excellent! Great atmosphere and service! I was visiting and a friend recommended. I had the Coffee Cured Filet since they specialize in steaks. It was absolutely delicious; so tender even well done! It come with 1 side but I ordered asparagus on side. I tried the the cocktail Angel’s Revenge but it was too strong; I rarely drink. But the Lemon Drop Mojito was perfect and sweet. Our server Rodderick was great; very attentive and polite. I love the design and the wine cellar. It’s very unique design and very spacious. I highly recommend trying it out if in Memphis, you can’t go wrong!

Stoney River is one of those places that serves as a great “go-to” spot when thinking of restaurants you may not visit frequently. I’ve visited a few times and my meals have ranged from good to superb. The ambiance gives a high -end feel and the service is usually very good as well. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the inconsistency in the preparedness of the steaks I’ve ordered. While not worthy of being sent back to the kitchen by any means, the temperatures have been less even throughout a few different cuts I’ve tried. Still good steaks though, so don’t take this criticism as a disappointment. I had the Ahi Tuna during my last visit and I was well-pleased with that! The one area that has remained consistent in quality are the huge portions of desserts. The carrot cake is my favorite hands down, followed closely by the key lime pie.

My experience from beginning to end met my expectations. A friend made reservations for our dinner, party of 4. We were seated promptly. Our server was very polite (Dominque). The steak egg roll is a MUST try for your appetizer. I ordered the Rio pasta (Delicious )and my husband ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken (huge portion, could be shared) The prices are reasonable for a high scale date night. I truly enjoyed myself and will return when back in town.

I went for dinner and it was a wonderful first experience there! Kevin was our server and he was amazing. He went above and beyond. All of our food and drinks were delicious. No complaints and will be back. Highly recommend!

Steak salad might be my favorite in this restaurant. Good atmosphere, convenient location and moderated price. But for me 4 stars because main entrée was very salty.

I ordered the CUMBERLAND SALAD, and it wasn't cold. The chicken part was good, but the salad was room temperature. The chairs were rickety and nearing collapse, and the service was very nice. My dining companion said her hamburger was the best she's ever had.

Stoney River is always a great experience! The servers are super attentive and helpful. The food always comes out quickly (even when they’re busy), and it’s very tasty. AND the lemonade is heavenly! One of the best places in Memphis to dine if you don’t mind the prices.

First, let me say this, the service was great. I ordered the hot biscuit, and the hot biscuits are a thin biscuit with a hot chicken tender between the biscuits. You get four on your plate, They were a bit too hot 🔥 for my taste. I couldn't enjoy the meal. I also ordered the parmesan fries. They were thin, but they were good. Signed: Hot Tear Drops

Had lunch with some steak rolls and prime rib of beef. The steak was great, thick and juicy. Service was excellent. The biscuits brought out was hot fresh. It was a bit on the pricier side for what it’s worth.

This is our 4th time here in a month. Me and my family absolutely love this place. The service is outstanding and the food is superb. We had a fantastic waitress last Saturday when we was here. Her name was Alexis! She did a fabulous job. Then today we a gentleman named Chase. He was also outstanding as well. Alexis was not our waitress this time but she remembered us and stop by to say hi. Then she went and brought us our daughter food even though she was busy with her other tables. This is our new favorite restaurant and most definitely will be coming back.
