Charged twice, room AC was not on when we arrived so it was 82 in our room and had only cooled to 80 by the time we went to bed. Front desk said we could change rooms but there was "no guarantee it would be any cooler", no breakfast, no coffee downstairs though you're paying the same price as the hotel next door with those amenities, no water pressure. Room smelled terrible, but the bed was comfortable so that was the one redeeming quality.

Poorly lit room. Barely adequate near the bed, very poor in the kitchen area, no light at all near the dresser. One of the most uncomfortable recliners I've ever sat in. Too bad because layout of the room was pretty functional and spacious.

The room was attractive, however, it had not been vacuumed completely. There was cereal underneath the lounge chair, which I had to move to get into and out of the bed easily. Also, I had been directed to the hotel from a nearby town, New Albany, which meant that I had to drive another twenty five miles on the Interstate. Then, when exciting the Interstate, I found I had to drive another six miles down a local thoroughfare with traffic lights, after which I had to get on two more restricted access highways. On checking in, a very nice lady gave us a room down the hallway and suggested we park near there. Unfortunately, the key would not open the exterior hallway door and we had to walk around with our luggage to another door. Lastly, while still dead asleep this morning, the sheet and towel man knocked twice to try and get the linen we had not even had a chance to use yet (towels) or finish with(sheets). Thank you for asking about our stay. If there is anything you can do to rectify any of this, we would appreciate it All the best, Josephine McDonough

First time in Tupelo. Good customer service. Good location. Room was clean. Good amount of towels provided. Took advantage of cooking utensils. Was glad there were pots and pans. There was even liquid dish washing liquid, and automatic dishwasher detergent. Everything you need was there. My only negative observation is there was a smell of marijuana outside the elevator. There was also a smell of marijuana in the hallway as I was leaving out. Other than that, my stay was comfortable and I was pleased.

Loved it!! Our room was very nice! We had a little stove, dishwasher, and there was kitchen items you can go get outside in the lobby if you need them.

Zero stars. My family stayed for a soccer tournament. We found blood stains in the bathroom and dead bugs in the room. Not to Mention a Waterbong behind the curtains. I was told I would be contacted by a manger but that never happend. Still charged full price. Piss poor. Absolutely disgusting.

Had to change rooms due the air conditioning system leaked all over the bedroom carpet. Bathroom door was filthy. Next room 310 has the wrong toilet seat. Rooms are not being inspected for cleanliness.

Loved the rooms. But it's right off a main highway so be careful leaving Candlewood! The gas station down the road may have some shady characters. But I loved the hotel and the room very much!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and provided plenty of space. Both firm and soft pillows were offered and written on the pillow cases. The bed was very comfortable. I stay in a different hotel every week for work, therefore I see it all. This hotel is by far one of the best experiences I've had, in both the hotel itself and the friendly and accommodating staff.

Would be zero stars if possible. Disgusting condition in our room. The lighting was dim and I feel like they use that to their advantage to hide the dirt and terrible condition. First of all we received a handicapped accessible room when we did not request one. The floors obviously had not been vacuumed or the walls cleaned at all from previous visitors. Our sons socks were FILTHY after walking around on the carpet. Questionable stains all over the carpet, couch, and the side chair was ripped and in terrible condition. Bed skirt had stains. The bedroom door handle was broken off and the curtains were stained. We will never return. Avoid at all costs

Our stay was fine. Room was large, clean and comfortable, yet dated. The staff was kind to us. No breakfast provided or pool.

Location is good, everything else is terrible. Worst treatment I have ever received from the hotel front desk. That person should have been fired for how she was talking to me and treating me. After the harassing check in, I went to a dirty room that was so bad I had to go to Walmart to get my own cleaning supplies. Overall a wretched experience and a hotel that is in need of some upkeep. Completely ruined the 6 night stay. I left after the second night and went to Home2Suites. Pictures to show how bad this room was. Never again will I stay here.
