They need to open the parks back up. People are crammed along the riverbank because the city and Texas State still have all of the access closed. Can't distance when there's no room to spread out. A great place to relax and fish,swim,or just people watch, this is where the Lion's club tube rental starts. There is also a really nice venue here that we rent 4 family reunions,there's a small area 4 the kids 2 play with swings and slides and stuff like that.

First time there!! Had a awesome time!! I saw a play there. It wasn't crowded and nice people. It was very clean and well taken care of. I recommend if you're visiting or just came to San Marcos, I would definitely go! Very close to the river.

Nothing to do or see in San Marcos plaza area. Headed to Wimberley which was 20 more minutes but well worth it. Didn’t even have 1 cool thing except the river at the college and I was sightseeing so that was about it.
