The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant but my friends and I tried a variety of drinks, each one worse than the last. Plus the entire place smelled like hot dogs. Would not go back

Meteor has the look and feel of a neighborhood watering hole, with the drinks menu and back bar of a high-end craft cocktail bar. The service is attentive and all the folks behind the bar are extremely knowledgeable.

Really really good cocktails and knowledgeable bar tenders. Their classes are also a lot of fun if you are looking to learn more about different types of liquors (we did the rum class). Just make sure you have a drive lined up, while they do have a parking lot...you will likely want a ride once you leave!

If you like a darkly lit laid back relaxed atmosphere, this is your place. It's not very big and gets busy on the weekends. Cool spot to just chill and have a couple drinks.

My car was hit by one of their other customers while parked in their lot and I was left alone to deal outside to deal with the situation as the other driver took off. I was also charged for the drink I had 1/2 of before my night was ruined by the accident after being told they would take care of my check. One of the owners wasn’t very nice or helpful when I reached out by email.

I love this place. To have a craft bar that also feels like your neighborhood pub is rare. Delicious hot dogs? Check. Mezcal Mondays? Check. Good tunes? Check. Amazing, hard-to-find spirits? Check. Meteor bar is a hidden gem in Minneapolis on the intersections of North Loop, Northeast and North and boasts a good crowd because of it. Further context, it’s located in an industrial (shipping, fishing, packing) area adjacent to North Loop. Big with the service industry professionals and everyone else looking for a good gritty cocktail bar - think if hole-in-the-wall dive bars made amazing and creative cocktails. Cocktails are delicious and their specialty, 🌭’s are good, affordable, and comparable more tasty takes on a ballpark dog you’d get at a sports game. Staff are super cute and friendly. Lastly, the vibe and ambiance is low light, underground, blue collar and intimate.

Really cool cocktail lounge. Hard area to park but the cocktails are so worth it. I definitely want to go back with my partner. Happy it’s a queer safe place. :)

The veggie dog is fire. The cocktails are fire. They have malort. The vibe is chill. Literally "Meteor" pinball machine. Best bar tenders. They keep the place clean and tidy. What more could you want?

The best cocktail menu in town, every drink is delicious. And the hot dogs were delicious as well. We were there on Halloween weekend and the decorations were great.

ive been here a couple times and i like the vibe. i normally dislike cocktails but they make interesting ones here and there was even one that i really liked that was a banana pina colada or something. they also have malort too which is nice for when i get bored of cocktails and just want something cheap, powerful, and masochistic

A lively cocktail bar in North. I got the starry tropic picture attached. Between my drink and some sips from my friends I felt that prices were just a bit too high for the drink. They were good but not amazing. I know they rotate the menu alot so maybe it was just bad luck but I prefer the drinks at elusive in Northeast or Young Joni's back bar. That being said this place felt more busy and energetic than those two and had a cool environment

Love this spot. A definite must. The cocktail menu changes seasonally so there’s always something fresh and new. The Wreckto Cooler is a current fave. And the hot dogs are darn tasty, too! The bartenders really know how to make a delightful drink and the ambiance is great.
