The chicken wings are bombbbbb! I'm a chicken wing connoisseur and these were very good. The rib tips were a bit tough but had excellent flavor. Must get a side of hot & BBQ sauce.

This place has the best catfish I've ever eaten. And I don't know what all goes into their banana pudding but it is magical and I'm officially addicted. Mac and Cheese was good, it wasn't trying to be anything crazy, just good Mac and Cheese. Their ribs and brisket were alright but it's the fish and that pudding I'll be back for as well as to try some more things.

C and G’s is the quintessential neighborhood family owed smoke house (if your lucky enough to know what that’s like). Their Coney Island is the best I’ve had. The brisket is thinly cut, stacked tall, sauced and capped off with an onion bun. All the sides are good. Nice folks, consistent, and worth the wait!

Food was phenomenal! Ribs and rib tips were excellent and expertly seasoned! Ribs came without sauce and didn't need a drop! Only gave 4 stars because it's price and the fact that everything was a-la-cart! Food and service 5 stars. Price 4 stars, but it's worth every penny. The family packs and dinners should come with sides. My only complaint!

We tried a pound of BBQ Beef Brisket, Large Mac & Cheese, Large Potato Salad, and Large Coleslaw. All were fantastic, with fair portions. The sides are similar in size/price to a grocery store deli, but better quality. The thinly sliced brisket melts in your mouth, with or without the BBQ sauce. I will most definitely be back to try everything else. Prep time can be up to 15 minutes. Call ahead if don't want to wait. 4% charge for credit cards. Bring cash if that matters to you.

Food taste pretty good. I think pricing could be reduced for the portion. As you can see the ribs were pretty small compared to 20oz pop.

The best quality bbq I’ve had in a long time. Brisket, pulled pork, and tips are all delicious. Beans are other worldly. Probably better to call and order ahead, but if you walk up it’s worth the wait. My kid said he likes it better than shake shack which is basically the highest compliment he can give.

Neighborhood gem! Greg is amazing. Have been going here for a few years, and most recently I purchased 8 pounds of pulled pork for a family reunion (20 people). Outstanding flavor! Perfectly smoky, tender and juicy pulled pork. Lip-smacking BBQ sauce was packaged separately. Highly recommend!

I've been here twice now for the rib tips because somebody came over to my house with some rib tips from this place and they were pretty good and each time I've got them they've been good I know he's got a special everyday of the week and I believe Wednesdays is the rib tips but the downside to that is it's not all day so don't be fooled about the specials because I'm going to tell you they're on time restrictions is a thumbs down because I like getting stuff from places that got specials going on on their days and that's probably why I'm not there every Wednesday getting rib tips but I'm there once every once in awhile they're black eyed peas are good the macaroni and cheese is pretty good they got a bunch of different desserts I've yet to try and I probably would if they had the specials all day which they don't it's time restricted due take note of that.

The beef brisket is superb, the baked beans are amazing, and the potato salad is just like Grandma used to make. On a scale of 1 thru 10, C&G's is a 12!

Simply incredible food. The brisket is sliced really thin and it is AMAZING! The baked beans are the best I've ever had. The Mac and cheese is good, and, while I don't like coleslaw, the coleslaw is also really good! Also, the BBQ sauce is really good! Had sweet potato pie as well and that reminds me, the prices? Incredible! Best value for a BBQ restaurant I've ever had too!

First time trying this Southside smoke house and am impressed!!! Wings were well seasoned and cooked perfectly! Rib tips were meaty and well sauced! Sides were delicious 😋. Looking forward to trying more!

The food over all was very good. Best rib tips I can find. Girl friend gets BQ pulled chicken sandwich. Swears it's the best one she ever had. All with smoked items.

Man look, I been searching all over town, for some smoked, tender, flavorful, bbq ribs. I found them at C&G's. I walked in smelling like perfume and walked out smelling like smoked meat! I am so satisfied. I will be back! Yum

We picked this place on a whim. It was fantastic! We have the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, water bread and Mac n cheese. The gentleman working was friendly and the food came pretty fast. The sandwiches are served on onion buns and slathered in bbq sauce. Th mac n cheese was think and creamy, but not overly creamy. It's a very small place. There's only 4 tables. I would 100% recommend this place if you are looking for great bbq.

Ate here for the first time today. Ordered a variety of items off the menu and all of it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were delicious, everything was cooked to perfection, and we were so pleased with all of it we can’t wait to come back again! I highly recommend trying it!!
