Carla is a must try if you are in the mood for great food/drinks and a lively atmosphere. The food was visually appetizing. Each dish was full of flavor. I ordered the enchiladas and wasn’t sure what to expect as it’s not a typical Mexican restaurant. As soon as I took a bite, I instantly knew I made the right choice. My friends ordered fajitas and let me tell you, they were hands down better than most places I have been to. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The chips and queso were also delicious. The portions were just right. The meal, combined with such friendly staff makes it an easy choice to go back soon. I left wanting more. Thank you for a great meal!

Loved this little spot. We had good food and amazing service! Would definitely recommend. We ordered the Avocado BLT, the Carla burger and the chicken enchiladas. All three were done well. The fries were also nicely seasoned and we loved the service, including the robot who came out to sing happy birthday to another patron.

Pretty good food, great and friendly service, decent atmosphere - I wouldn’t not recommend this place. The food’s pretty good, and the value too - there’s some great vegetarian options, like the veggie tacos, and for meat-eaters there’s options galore. If you’re walking down 51st Street, stop by at Carla’s for a drink, some food, tater tots, tacos, burgers and more.

Eric was an amazing bartender for Happy hour. He had great recommendations. I usually don't enjoy "house" margaritas but they were phenomenal. He was so friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend this to a friend and return!!!!

Fun spot with great decor and likely a fun vibe when busy (we were there midday). Wings were good. Have never had Mexican shrimp cocktail before so it might have been my expectation but the seafood was a little mealy and I didn’t care for the dish. Barbacoa tacos were good. On the verge of over salted but the jalapeños provided a nice balance. Burger was good. The rating is mostly because of the shrimp cocktail which I really didn’t care for. Everything else was good and I would return.

My daughter and I had a reservation on 9/2 but we got there a bit early (had a broadway show at 2) but they allowed us to sit and wait for a few minutes which was super nice …..gave us water until it was time to order. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. Our first appetizer was the guac and chips and it was so good and flavorful, chips came out hot. Our main course was the Carla burger, I highly recommend it and for our drinks we had the butterfly pea lemonade. Our food was brought out by a robot which took me by surprise but added a cool touch . Music was ok , just not my style because of the language but overall it was a great experience and I will definitely take another train ride up there for that reason

Carla is our favorite place to eat and drink in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s beautiful and airy, with beautiful wall paper, art, and a stylish bar. Drinks and food are fresh, plated well, and tasty. Great spot for a date, after work drink, or casual meal.
