Oh please these are mostly fake reviews. I ran as soon as I could and a lot of other parents I know left as well. My child was miserable there! Multiple times I complained about my childā€™s care and nothing was done! Multiple times I would pick up my child in a full diaper (stool and urine)ā€¦ I witnessed a ā€œteacherā€ kissing my child I told her to NEVER do that in her life, how unprofessional. Please do a thorough research before you sign up for this day care unless you donā€™t care about your childā€™s well being.

I am an old teacher that recently used to work here at this TLE in Edgewater Park who was a transfer from the TLE in Hopewell. I can honestly say that making the transfer was a huge mistake. From being taught so well at my old center to coming here and learning that they donā€™t even teach the curriculum which parents pay so much for is bizarre to me. The director Ms.Megan, smokes cigarettes on the property regularly, which sometimes leaves an odor in the lobby and on her. The director also lies on incident/accident forms and makes the employees sign them. There are also numerous conversations that Iā€™ve had with the director Megan that werenā€™t held confidential which is extremely unprofessional!!! She also uses many racial slurs, one specifically being that she knows how to ā€œdrink the kool aidā€. Thereā€™s also a teacher there Ms.saundra who calls the kids ā€œstupidā€ and tells them to ā€œshut upā€. Iā€™ve also been here for 3 months and have yet to be finger printed, Iā€™ve been changing diapers and also left in a room alone with children without being finger printed all this time. Who else is teaching there without proper background checks?

My son attended TLE for a short period of time, but he enjoyed it. He loved his friends and especially loved the playground and make-believe boulevard. His teacher, Ms. Saundra, was hands-down amazing. My son is a very shy kid, but he felt comforted and safe in her care. His social skills bloomed, and in his short time there he is even beginning to recognize words enough to ā€œreadā€ now! He always came home telling me a cool new fact he learned. Ms. Megan was always helpful and hands-on in the school. Other staff members were always kind, in my experience. He is school-age now, but we will miss the friends and staff here.

In our time of need, my fiancƩe and I were scrambling to find a new daycare for our little one. We found this location that was closer to our jobs, and I can say that we are more than happy that we found TLE. Our child was able to acclimate to the environment fast without any issues. I want to give a very big thanks to Miss Megan and Miss Saundra!

If it was possible I wouldn't give this daycare any stars. Each day there was something wrong with management. Megan is very unprofessional and doesn't have any idea what it means to be a parent. As a parent I trusted this daycare to look after my girls. They have completely failed. Each day one of my girls would come home with a new cut on them. There excuse is I don't know what happened. The turn over rate is extremely high.

PART 2 I was the lead teacher of the Twaddlers Class since February 2023 Ive personally witnessed Infant teachers complaining when kids are there at 7am, some teachers who are in the infant room calling some of them ug*y or ā€œgrandpa faceā€ or ann*ying because they were crying. I brought this up to the owner and the director in JUNE and still those exact teachers are still there caring for the same children. Iā€™ve talked to the director and the owner about how my class doesnā€™t have enough toys, enough art supplies and the director complained about giving us construction paper because my class only knows how to scribbleā€¦ The teachers who have been there for a while talk about the families and how they dress their kids. Iā€™ve witnessed her and the director calling these kids st*pid & saying one little girl wasnā€™t going to be nothing in life in front of the child. The same teacher put her h*nds on a little boy and she was investigated with no consequences and she is still there because the director and the owners found a way around it. My guess is because the cameras donā€™t record There is one teacher who a lot of parents feel been uncomfortable leaving their children with. Not only I but another former employee witnessed that she kisses certain kids on the mouth. Without parents permission the director has lifted sleeping toddler(B kids) while on the mat to transfer them into the other classroom (picture included) the director is constantly lying for no reason, to staff and TO PARENTS. For ex: the director encourages the teachers to rewrite incident reports to sound comforting to parents meaning it has been rewritten and incorrect. Weeks ago I reached out to all parties who needed to know what is happening here & I hope that things change for the better No matter how hard management has made my job I will say seeing their little faces and big smiles made it worth it. Iā€™ll forever be grateful for the families I have connected with and the encouraging words & appreciation they all have given to me. If me speaking up to change this daycare caused me to eventually lose my job Iā€™d do it all over again. I want to see better for our kids. In conclusion some wise words from the last assistant director ā€œNothing at the center will change if the administration does notā€ Oh and that last review made me realize my review was very needed. I never met anybody named Tyra so Iā€™m not 100% sure that review is valid. Itā€™s clear that the director is asking people to leave good reviews. Thank you for taking the time out to read this book about me and my daughters experience here at the EDGEWATER PARK TLE. If you download yelp you may find Both my reviews & pictures! Now itā€™s out of my hands and into yours.

Our experience with TLE has been great. My child has had a consistent teacher (Miss Saundra) who has contributed tremendously to her learning. The center is clean, tidy, and secure. I have witnessed Miss Megan (director) doing not only her job- but interacting/helping out in class rooms if needed. She does a wonderful job of getting to know the families personally and has a true passion for her job. It is comforting to know the person in charge (Miss Megan) is dependable and truly cares about not only her job but her employees, families, the facility, and the entire well-being of TLE.

UPDATED: A Parent's Objective Review of The Learning Experience As a former parent whose child attended The Learning Experience (TLE) for a brief period, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the facility. It is important to note that my review is based on my personal experiences and observations during my child's time there. One aspect that raised concerns for me was the presence of negative reviews from former employees. These reviews shed light on their experiences after leaving TLE, prompting me to take a closer look at the overall agency rather than just focusing on my child's individual experience. It is disconcerting to learn that some incidents were seemingly only reported in retaliation, which suggests a potentially unhappy work environment and raises doubts about the quality of care provided to the children. During my child's time at TLE, I did witness some behaviors from staff that did not appear to be entirely professional. Although I must acknowledge that the management promptly addressed the small concerns I had, the overall impression was that the facility's name did not accurately reflect the level of service and educational experience my family had expected. Furthermore, the presence of dissatisfied staff members can create an unwelcoming environment for parents, thereby compounding the concerns of working parents who entrust their children to TLE. Consequently, my child has returned to being homeschooled, which, while removing the socialization aspect with peers, has allowed my child to thrive and participate in educational trips. In retrospect, my experience at TLE felt more akin to a babysitting service rather than an educational institution. It is important to note that this may be a suitable place of learning for parents and children with different expectations than our family had. In conclusion, I believe it is essential for parents to carefully evaluate their expectations and priorities when considering The Learning Experience as an option for their child's education and development. While my personal experience may not align with certain educational objectives, it is possible that TLE can still cater to the needs and desires of families seeking a different approach.

I have had an amazing experience with The Learning Experience Edgewater Park. I have had the pleasure of working with Miss Megan and I must say she is an exceptional leader. Her knowledge and expertise in child development are exceptional. Miss Megan is a great communicator and always takes the time to listen to parents concerns. She has a warm and nurturing personality that makes children feel at ease and creates a postive learning environment. The staff(Miss Saundra, Miss Olivia, Miss Jenn to name a few) have been there with her for 2+ years. I highly recommend the center for your childcare needs.

TLE has been such a great environment for my son Ravion. I can see the structure, bright and fun atmosphere has helped him tremendously.
