As others have commented, the 3rd floor has become so overcrowded!! Groups of 3-4 on the machines/equipment, in no hurry and no consideration for the amount of time they are on the same machine. The younger groups are the biggest offenders of gym etiquette…Also do not appreciate members that use or attempt to use multiple machines at the same time.. the club is way too crowded for that!! Leaving your water bottle and cell phone on the machine does not count as a “reserved” spot for you. These behaviors go completely unchecked by the staff, and the club management expects members to self manage the situation. This is clearly not working. For $197 a month, I expect more of a direct hands on management team to ensure a positive member experience. After 8:00pm (after most of the staff has left) is when the environment gets unbearable. I have contacted corporate and they bounce you back to the club management team. The standard cookie cutter response… “we appreciate your feedback”… “we will take your comments into consideration”. The result = NO CHANGE/IMPROVEMENT!

This review is ONLY for the kids club. Wanted to share an experience I had last week there. Dropped my kids off at the kids club for about 1.5 hours. The lady at the front desk had a pretty stoic face on. Not friendly. Took my kids in and upon pick up she informed us that my kids went to an area they weren't supposed to go. Upon speaking to my kids, I find out that a worker in a red shirt GAVE them permission to go into this gymnastic room that they weren't supposed to go into. Then when they were found in there, another person in a red shirt told them they couldn't pay in there. This is when my daughter who is very sensitive started crying thinking she did something wrong. And guess what? While she was crying none of the workers cared or was there for her. They just left her be. My oldest son tried to explain that they had gotten permission to be in the gymnastic room but the lady at the front desk couldn't care. She had no sympathy for the kids and when one cried just left her be. This is what you get for a child care service inside a supposedly nice gym. Do better. How can parents trust and leave their kids to work out if all the workers don't even care about the kids? My son says please don't ever drop him off at the child care as this gym again because no one cares about the kids. Kids know. They are very honest.

Awesome gym, spacious rooms, plenty of treadmills, workout equipment, basketball court, yoga studios and pool lanes to workout in. They also have steam room, sauna, and hot Tubs to relax in as well. Great gym to workout, recover, or just relax. Towels, washing toiletries are provided here as well. Overall great gym.

No parking available today. Had to miss my class and workout from home as they have grossly oversold memerships. I live 25 min away. Dues have gone up 100 dollars in 4 years and I am a founding member. No additional perks to counteract the raising fees (can’t even offer like one free shake a month or something?) Don’t forget that men are the only sex that are allowed recovery as they have been gifted a cold plunge in their locker room. Women have to resort to the overcrowded cold pool for any body healing. They try to monetize everything. The lounge at one point went from being free to a fee to free again during Covid. The two best yoga instructors are gone. Retired people with certain insurance plans get their memberships free so you’re fighting for spots against people who don’t have to pay an arm and a leg. This place has changed. On my last leg here.

This gym has gone straight downhill this summer. 1. The locker rooms are not maintained well anymore. Small flies everywhere. Good luck turning on the sink or shower or being the first to do so because you will be swarmed. 2. Every locker in the locker room is locked. 4am or 11:30pm. No one checks to open them so it’s impossible to find a locker that isn’t next to a locked one (or find one at all that’s available) because people leave them locked with nothing in them to reserve them for themselves. 3. Apparently we have to check out basketballs now. It takes time because the people at the front desk are obviously busy doing their jobs so this because a 10-15 minute ordeal just to get a ball. 4. General grossness - I understand it’s a gym - but until this year it’s been kept pretty clean and the people who maintained the facilities used to care about it. They don’t anymore. This includes the weights area, the basketball courts, but especially the locker room. I rarely see anyone actually cleaning it anymore. The largest takeaway is the lack of care for the locker room - the place that should really be given a good amount of attention considering that’s where you shower, and clean yourself up. May as well go home at this point. For the amount of money we pay - it should really be taken better care of. This same thing happened to Princeton when I used to go there. I stopped because the people who worked there stopped caring. Maybe it’s time to go to Berkeley heights or health quest instead.

Agree with all of the recent reviews. This place is super crowded ALL the time. You can’t get in a class, you can’t get to a machine, most people just lounge out on them and chat. The only thing this place is good for is the pool and maybe working from there after a workout. You sometimes cannot even park or pull in/out of the parking lot it’s so crowded. They need a whole other gym it’s gotten so bad.

I have been a member for about five or six months. I've been to many gyms, but this place has a different style. This is the life complex for me. All employees are very caring and friendly. They are also very good at cleaning.

Although the many facilities and services at lifetime my experience has not been great. The gym has many up to date equipment and lots of different machines. It seems there is only 1 of most machines so the waiting is more then time spent then actually working out. With all the high demand for certain machines especially cables I believe there should be more of the most used machines. Most times I am waiting for a machine it is occupied by large groups of people simply talking and hanging out barely using the equipment. When I am just trying to get a basic workout in this can be frustrating. I believe there needs to be change because Lifetime used to be an incredible place but the gym is becoming very hard to use.

Stop raising my membership, this is the 4th time and again.. they didn’t notify me. I’ve been a member for roughly 5 years, originally started at the Princeton facility, started going to Bridgewater when they finally opened. It used to be way nicer, now it’s ridiculously overcrowded and they keep raising my membership every few months. This is becoming ridiculous. That doesn’t even include the amount of classes they have on the third floor and they just take up so much of the equipment. I thought the second floor was supposed to be dedicated to classes. It feels like I pay so much yet the amount of equipment I have access to keeps becoming more and more limited.

Purchased a day pass because I was interested in bringing my family here because of the beautiful facility. Staff acts like they don’t want to be bothered, no one explained anything to me or offered a tour. Brought my son to the kiddie camp and all the staff completely ignored me and no one wanted to help me or my 3 year old son. I picked him up and older children were in the toddler section bullying children. I was really hoping this gym lived up to the hype but the staff does not match the beautiful aesthetic of the facility. Not worth the money

With the water main break you should have just remained closed. Give people their money back for the couple days you were closed. The fact you thought it was okay to open the gym without water fountains, bathrooms, showers, and towels is shocking. Sauna and jacuzzi I can do without for a couple visits but you guys know better than to open a facility of that size without running water. You should have closed and gave people vouchers or their money back but of course that would mean you would have to give some money back which we all know money only flows one way when it comes to the customer. Also this club is massively oversold. Too many people. Stop selling memberships for a little while please.

At first lifetime was well worth it with the super nice facilities and up to date gym equipment; however recently i find it hard to have a good experience. Now I am constantly waiting for every machine and cable. With a gym of this size one cable tower is not enough. Most times large groups are hanging out on machines while people are trying to workout. I personally think this gym would better from another cable tower with all the people it brings in.

Ever increasing gym membership prices yet declining services. If your card payment changes or you have an medical emergency and can't use the gym for a period of time, you still receive multiple messages until you make payment or they threaten to suspend your membership. I have been a member for years and yet don't see any perks or loyalty, just increasing prices and hostility by staff.

Place never answers the phones...staff are a bunch of thieves in the locker room. I left my brand new shoes behind, called within 10 minutes of leaving the gym, called them to have them put them aside for me, and all of a sudden there's nothing in the locker room. This was on an empty Saturday night around 10 pm. Disgusted. Gym is always packed and customer service here is terrible. Edit: I was contacted 2 days later and was told they would do a deep search. Again, my shoes were nowhere to be located. I appreciate hearing back in regards to my item. Still upset my shoes weren't return, and mostly because the gym was super empty at that time (if the gym was full of people, then anyone could have taken them, but this wasn't the case). At the end, I was offered a 50$ credit, which I appreciate. My sandals cost 80$, so at least it won't hurt as much repurchasing them knowing that I have a credit to use at the gym.

The gym is great and all but this review is for Ashley Sikora. She is the GM for BGW but overall is the #1 BEST! I am an employee of another lifetime and she has always been so supportive of our entire Lifetime family…in her current club, in my club and all of lifetime as well as to me personally. She is beyond approachable day in and day out. She always ensures the members and team members are heard. Anyone can go to her with anything, and she will go way above and beyond for them.. She has gone the extra mile and then some for me and my fellow teammates on multiple occasions. She is the true definition of a great leader and an inspiration to all of us. ! I give her a 11 out 10 every time! You can ALWAYS go to her 100% of the time with anything you need no matter how big or small and she will give it her all to help you. Thank you Ashley!

Lifetime gym is like a vacation every time I go there which is almost daily. The most beautiful gym I've ever joined. Super friendly staff and they keep it very clean. Plenty of space to work out, stretch and the spa area is a great way to finish and relax. Wonderful!!!!

Lifetime is not only a gym but they offer group classes with amazing and talented instructors. The Zumba instructor Lloyd M is FANTASTIC. He is so energetic and welcoming to all levels. Every class is different and always so much fun. The music is current and gives you all the feel good vibes. Totally recommend.

Stopped by Life Time Bridgewater today was greeted by a wonderful man and woman their names are Dilara and Damian. I️ felt so included in the spirit of the club already! I️ took a swim in the outdoor pools and they were immaculate. The water was tested by lifeguards diligently, I️ would trust this Pool over any other in the area. I️ had my intro to PT session with a trainer named Ken who showed me how to activate my core and maximize my routine. Overall, a great place to go hang out, lift and swim!

Went on a tour at 3pm during middle of a week. You'd think it would be a slower period. Very crowded and wanted to see basketball area, full of high school kids. Asked about Pickle Ball saw that was a new sport offered, all courts filled with people waiting around. I think this gym is way oversold. Also at $219/a month for new members, you join a gym that is way to overbooked and you cant have any space...I cannot imagine how busy it is at 6 or 7pm....

Our favorite Life Time! The facilities are top notch and always well taken care of. The kids academy is fantastic. The pool areas are perfect for families. The best thing about this life time is the group fitness instructors. Every class I’ve taken has been nothing short of amazing. Kemma, Christina S, John, Kelly, are some of my personal favorites. Have never regretted going to a class and always leave feeling RE energized, fulfilled, and happy. Thank you all!

Very nice gym and love the outdoor pool. My family and I use it daily. Just wish it was more affordable. It gets quite pricey for my family of 5 in addition to paid swimming classes etc.

Club was absolutely immaculate and the amenities were plentiful. The public spaces, pool, workout rooms, etc., were top notch, clean and lots of options. Really appreciated the self serve disinfectant bottles and cloth towels to wipe down surfaces! My only gripe was the person next to me on the treadmill was talking on her phone the whole time and using expletives. For what I pay and with the expectations that I have for a Diamond level club, cell phone policies should be strictly established and enforced! Other than that I can’t think of anything negative to say about Lifetime Bridgewater! Just a beautiful club all around!

At first, the gym will look great. Use most of their premium equipment and machines. They are pretty nice. But examine more closely and you’ll see that they skimp out on things it seems. They add new flat benches with less cushion which makes a big difference with heavier weight. We pay so much so they can use lower quality? Wouldn’t you want your gym to have more airflow? Especially at a place where so much human waste is floating around? Go to the lockers and baths and you’ll see flies all year.

“Too big to fail”, operationally inept, and tone-deaf to reality/experience of “founding” members. Or they truly don’t care. Not sure which is worse. Not at all as-advertised, especially for the cost - which increases constantly while member experience only ever gets worse due to continued overcrowding. Corporate greed too flush to stop selling memberships. Trainers and Instructors are great but can’t make classes cuz there’s nowhere to park! Management only responds to positive web reviews and pays to hide negative reviews. If you see this, save your sanity and money.

I begrudgingly come to this gym now. It has become so disappointing. Locker rooms are dirty with their showers full of scummy soap and nasty drain flies. The sauna is slowly falling apart and needs a vacuuming. The 3rd floor by the machines and free weights is still SO HOT and uncomfortable after over FOUR YEARS. Please put a giant fan or something (probably goes against their private jet-setting WWE championship belt-wearing CEO’s gym aesthetics though). Dumbbells are loose. Rusted rough kettlebells. Machines are sticky and gross, stained carpets by the treadmills. Kids Academy… what do I have to say? There was a disturbing viral incident in another LT location became public and the company swept it under the rug (typical for their management, it is their M.O.), and noticing new, different employees every time kids needed to be dropped off, it’s become sketchy. I would hesitate to drop my young child here. I wish there was another gym that would knock this one down a few pegs. The facility needs a good humbling. They get away with their high rates and lack of action from their lazy and useless management in improving their mistakes because they are the only decent gym in the area.
