TouchStone Veterinary Center

Hospital Veterinary care

👍👍 I can’t say enough good things about this veterinarian practice. From the receptionists, to the cleanliness, the responsiveness and organizational skills of the entire staff, the vet techs, but especially Dr. Russo. We had been seeing another vet for 2 years who continuously told us our dog was fine... People often mention Morgan, staff, care, family, caring, team, Russo, time, TouchStone, Touchstone,

I can’t say enough good things about this veterinarian practice. From the receptionists, to the cleanliness, the responsiveness and organizational skills of the entire staff, the vet techs, but especially Dr. Russo. We had been seeing another vet for 2 years who continuously told us our dog was fine despite glaring evidence that she was not. We spent thousands on appointments and labs that were not diagnostic of her issues but just a money maker for them. They also never followed up and just didn’t care. Dr. Russo knew my dog for 5 minutes and was able to see that there was something more going on. She ordered the proper labs and diagnostic tests (x rays, skin cultures, thyroid tests, etc. ) and discovered a mass in her mouth. Within days she was in for surgery for this to be removed. Had we still been with my old vet (who looked in her mouth every time btw) who knows what would’ve happened to her with it going undiagnosed even longer. The surgery took place at Garden State which had nothing to do with Dr. Russo but yet she still called on a weekend to follow up and just to check on how our girl was doing. Every request I’ve made for clinical notes, paid bills, calls back- have all been promptly met. I am so grateful that I was given this recommendation and that my dog can finally receive the care she deserves. You can really tell how everyone that works here loves animals and truly cares about their well being.

We bring our French bulldog Bailey to Dr. Morgan after a recommendation from a friend. Our dog has some vet trauma, and is a difficult dog to treat. I had a few bad experiences with other vets getting mad at me or my dog for his anxiety during appointments. Dr. Morgan is so good with Bailey, and has worked with us on the proper medications, as well as talking me through every step so we can make sure our dogs vet anxiety doesn’t prevent him from getting treatment. I appreciate that they keep our dog in the room during treatment so he can still see mom and dad. We have also brought our cats to other vets in the practice and they have been equally as lovely. We’re so glad we found Dr. Morgan and Touchstone!

I have a Maltese and a husky and both have never liked the vet, they would always get nervous, shake, tails down, and cower behind me. We started going here during covid when I was not allowed in and both dogs went in with their tails wagging and came out with their tails wagging. This had never happened before. We still go there and the dogs are both happy to go inside and see everyone. The staff are all phenomenal, knowledgeable, patient, and you can tell they truly care about animals. I will not bring my pets anywhere but here.

I am a veterinarian practicing in another state. While visiting family last week, our family cat took a turn for the worst. TouchStone was able to get my parents in that afternoon to let him go. Throughout the euthanasia, Dr. Mostowy was warm and compassionate. She was gentle with our cat and kind to my parents and me. The actual euthanasia was very smooth and peaceful. As a veterinarian, I was impressed and incredibly thankful that my family had Dr. Mostowy and the team at TouchStone during such a difficult time. Thank you for helping my childhood pet go peacefully and surrounded by love.

I just love this place! My mother's cat wasn't feeling well and it was a Saturday and I called several different places and no one would see us. I called TouchStone and even though they didn't have any appointments, they said to bring the cat in. Everyone there was extremely nice! Dr. Mostowy examined the cat and said she had an abcess that needed to be lanced which she did and took really great care in doing so. The vet tech Kristin did a great job keeping the cat calm throughout the whole process. They didn't push any unnecessary testing which most places do and they didn't even charge me an emergency visit fee. I will definitely be using this place to treat my cats in the future.

I’ve been coming here for over a year with my first puppy and I’m never going back after my last visit. I brought my shihpoo in under the suspicion she had something going on with her back and possibly fleas. She was itching more than usual, back sensitivity, and not eating or acting like herself. Dr Russo checked her out and reassured me that she just enjoyed having her back scratched. She said she MAY have had one flea but nothing she was concerned about nor did she push any kind of treatment. Well my dog did in fact have fleas and it went on way longer than it should have. I went back a week later saying I wanted my money back and Dr Russo said “well I did recommend flea and tick” and when I asked why it wasn’t given to me then she said because it’s over the counter. While this is true, 1. I have always received flea and tick preventative from this vet, I have never once been told go out and buy it over the counter. 2. They prescribed it to me that day LOL she didn’t say go out and buy that time — makes absolutely no sense . On top of that she charged me a recheck fee. An absolute joke. I will never go back there.

We just adopted a 10-mos old mini-poodle and Dr Morgan is very kind and caring when we brought him in for his first exam. She is very patient and answered all our questions regarding his care. When we brought him back for his procedure he was so happy to see Dr Morgan. This tells us how well she handled him. We had gone to another vet before with another pet and now we highly recommend Dr Morgan and her staff as they go above and beyond compare to other vet clinics to help us.

TouchStone was wonderful with our cat Bella. Dr. Linder and the whole team were so caring, gentle and helpful when our kitty was at her most vulnerable. They are focused on the least stressful path for the animal which I appreciated, and they also keep an eye on costs vs pushing the upsell like our last vet. Dr Linder clearly explained the x-ray and blood results before recommending the team at Red Bank Vet Hospital when Bella's condition was beyond what they could address on site. Unfortunately, we lost our sweet girl this week, but TouchStone did everything they could to help her (as did the RB Vet Hospital). We are heartbroken with her loss but grateful to everyone who tried to save our pet.

TouchStone Veterinary Center has been my pets' vets for over 4 years. The veterinarians and staff always are compassionate and caring. Each person at TouchStone is awesome. They took tremendous care of my cranky elderly maltese. They saved my labradors life. I trust them with my furry kids medical care. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough to express how wonderful Touchstone is, 5 stars are not even enough. From the 1st time I called the Team has been amazing. Always happy to take care of us and our dog King. The doctors and techs are kind, caring and understanding. At each visit with them I felt like King was part of their family too!

I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone in the area. They have an amazing team of staff and doctors and they literally saved my cat in December. Very knowledgeable and caring people, I can only wish every clinic could be like that.

I am so thankful we have Dr Russo as our vet. Briar was rescued from a meat market in Korea a year ago. Her anxiety is terrible when she thinks she is in danger. Dr Russo tends to Briar with compassion, patience, and love on every visit!! She is the best!

Our beloved dog, Roxie, was in the best of the best hands for her surgery two weeks ago. I am a client of Dr. Morgan's for well over 20 years and was thrilled when she opened her own practice. Naturally, she chose a staff who fit her caring, competent and compassionate nature as well. Do not hesitate! This is the place to entrust with your beloved four-legged family members! The stitches that Roxie had were a work of art and fine craftsmanship. Too bad Dr. Morgan only treats animals LOL

Dr. MaryBeth Morgan and her team go above and beyond with each patient and family. The care and love that each Touchstone team member has for our furry children should be the gold standard in care. Bosco was only six months old when Dr. Morgan started to see him, and for 14 years and 1.5 months, he lived far past what was anticipated for a working K9 and a dog of his size. Last Friday (I can't believe it's been a week without my partner, my buddy, and my Bosco), Dr. Morgan and her team made the most beautiful Final Salute for Bosco's Police Service as an Explosive Detection K9. Her husband put up a flag pole with the thin blue line and the USA flag at half-staff. The coffee and donuts, beautiful flowers, Hershey's kisses, blanket, and tenderness were above and beyond what I could have imagined. This love, kindness, and professionalism made having Bosco go over that rainbow bridge more comforting and easier on our family. Thank you, Dr. Morgan, and everyone at Touchstone Vet Center that made Bosco's final salute so memorable. I know he is thankful as he stopped while "Amazing Grace" was being played on the NJSP Bagpipes and finally when he heard "Going Home." I was so lucky to have my NJ Transit PD brothers, Marlboro PD, Monmouth County Pros Office, NJ State Police, and of course, my family and friends around when we said, "I will see you later." heart I strongly urge anyone to come to Touchstone, no matter where you live. I have continued to go to Touchstone despite being over 1.5 hrs away; there is no one else I would want caring for my furry children. WE LOVE TOUCHSTONE!!!
