Fabian and Sandra were an awesome team! We dropped in for our sons birthday & everything went smooth, what a great time! Fabian had us laughing during the entire habachi cooking session, glad we ended up with him as our chef. Sandra was on point with her attentiveness and our entire order. The drinks were great, I tasted my husbands Zombie drink and I ordered one that came in a cute coconut souvenir cup! So tasty. Thank you for your great service, cleanliness and for making this dinner such a pleasant one! Kudos to this locations team.

First time here with my family, love the atmosphere, the food and excellent service! Our chef was Josh, he was amazing and did a great job with entertaining us, definitely recommend Arirang hibachi in mountainside NJ, we will definitely be returning soon.

I’ve been coming to this place for forever to do hibachi, because where else do you go for someone’s birthday? But I have not been in years, and I forgot how much of a fun time it is! My friend, and I started out with the crispy rice, with tuna, and the chicken wings, Which were extra crispy and extra saucy , cooked to perfection! My friend enjoyed her mai tai, which was fruity and strong! I ordered the Asian orchid, which was delicious and I got it inside of a souvenir cup! Then we both picked hibachi, which came with soup, salad, and your choice of rice or noodles and meat. I got the steak and scallops. Everything was so tender and of course I cook put on a real show!

Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time. Having a reservation will make this a more pleasant experience. Great experience all around! The chef was entertaining, service was quick, staff was polite, and the wait was minimal. The performance from the chef makes this worth a visit. Lots of humor and interactivity throughout! Highly recommend the fried rice! Top 3 fried rice you'll have. The chicken & shrimp hibachi is a large enough portion so you'll probably have some food to take home. Prices are surprisingly less than the other similar styled hibachi restaurants. With a drink, you can expect to spend about $30 a person for a plate.

We arrived around 4pm on Sunday with a party of 11. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes in the waiting area. Atmosphere is a cool vibe. We finally were seated and then waited another hour and 15 minutes for the cook to start at 7pm. The cook was amusing and kept the crowd engaged. The food portions were large. The food does not have the garlicky taste like the traditional Japanese restaurants have, but it was good though. Not sure if I will be returning. The wait was to long and I prefer the extra garlicky taste.

I had an amazing night with Chef Teshima who made my Hibachi experience even more special. He had a great sense of humor and cooked delicious food too. Our server Sandra was attentive as well. I would highly recommend this experience…

The atmosphere was entertaining &welcoming. When you go request Harry as your chef. His laugh 😆 makes you laugh. Arirang service was excellent 🤗

A typical sort of a cookie cutting Hibachi restaurant. We went for a birthday party for 25 people and we required two tables. First, had drinks at the bar. The bartender made us some Old Fashioned cocktails. They were not to our liking. Made fast and lacking the traditional ingredients. Too much water and ice. So unless you have beer and wine I wouldn't recommend cocktails. We sat our table only when the last member arrived. The chef was entertaining and the food was good but, typical for a restaurant of this type. Menu is extensive. They do have children menu. They also have a large parking lot.
