    The room wasn't clean. There was several pieces of hair on the examination table and when the Assistant cleaned it he left on the same clothes and attempted to do My blood pressure and COVID test with them on. I had to ask him to change gloves. He then picked up the disinfectant wipes container to show me stating this is all he touched. I was disgusted.

    The worst urgent care system around. It’s impossible to get appointments and if you walk into make an appointment, they tell you there’s an hour wait or longer. So I asked them if they could call me when there’s an opening that I could just walk in they say there’s nothing they can do they tell me to go wait outside yet I told him I don’t have a car and the fact that it’s cold outside they want me to wait. Yet the guy at the front desk would not even take my phone number to call me when there is an opening. For a Northwell health it’s so disappointing that they could treat people this way. Especially when the person that has trouble breathing as it is. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

    I usually go to another urgent care closer to my home but I decided to go to a Northwell facility as my PCP is part of Northwell system. I arrived today at 8:50 AM, praying to be the first to be seen. My home test indicated I was positive for Covid. I was so weak and sick, barely able to stand. I am a Frontline worker with Visiting and in three years have never gotten Covid although I’ve treated many patients with The virus. Upon entering, the man at the desk was extremely mean and rude, Stating that I did not have an appointment. He angrily said go out to your car and I’ll send you a link. I tearfully said do you know how long and he abruptly said, NO there are other appointments before you. When I got in my car I was crying and a lovely woman came to my passenger window and said he should not be in that position, and that he was very mean. I told her I was going to go to the urgent care I normally go to but she persuaded me to stay and said she noticed that someone didn’t show up and I should be called in shortly. She was there with her husband who was being treated. She was also a nurse. We were both shocked by this man’s behavior. The med tech was kind. The PA, on the other hand, was cold with absolutely no bedside manner. When I asked her questions, she acted annoyed and in a rush. As a medical professional, I have never treated a patient like this nor would I ever. The colleagues I work with are compassionate people. We are extremely busy as well but also Understand the fear that comes with being a patient that is sick and afraid. I mentioned to the PA that the man in the front wasn’t nice at all. Her response was, “he’s doing his job, we have many people to see here“. Needless to say I will never go here again. What a poor representation of Northwell. .

    I always have excellent care here at the Amityville location. I didn’t wait long for my rapid Covid test. It was quicker than I anticipated. All the staff were kind & friendly. Highly recommend especially when you can’t see your primary care doctor.

    Staff was AMAZING!!!! They were ready to go right at 8am! They were so so friendly and helpful. A patient with an emergency came rushing in after me and they were on it! Not a beat missed. They took such good care of this patient and I didn't mind waiting at all. The nurse who came in to see me was so adorable, friendly and funny! The guy at the the front desk was patient and so kind. I was seen by Dr. Garcia, who after just dealing with an emergency, was cool, calm, and collected. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. My prescription was sent through in a timely manner and it was overall a wonderful experience! It was my first time in this urgent care center, and all though it ended with strep throat, I would be happy to visit and be welcomed and cared for by this staff again. Bravo guys!!!! Thank you so so much for your patience and care. It really shined through, and at 8am! Every staff member was peppy and in a great mood! The office is beautiful and the staff is incredible. Thank you everyone !!

    Even though the day seemed pretty busy. The entire staff was great. Their concern for me and my health really meant a lot to me. I felt my care individualized to meet my needs.

    The worst unorganized place I ve been too on Long Island. You are better off. Going to City MD. A person can died just waiting an hour. Never coming back here again.

    Spoken to horribly. They person called to confirm an appointment made by the Northwell virtual doctor and basically questioned everything about why I was coming in. Made me feel uncomfortable and not a place I’d want to go and be spoken to like that. I’m just lost, if you’re unable to be nice to others, why get a career that’s so heavily involved with people? Never again, would not recommend. Plenty of other local places with much better manners. My official complaint regarding this issue was sent and I will not stop until I am heard. Hope your calls are recorded.

    Staff is amazing, the pediatric virtual visit was amazing and they were able to squeeze us in for a rapid test for my kids. Because in Long Island it's a 1 to 2 day minimum wait for an appointment at a Go Health urgent care. So I was glad they were able to expedite it for me.

    The front desk person was very nasty to my mother this morning on the phone in regards to her medication not being filled There was a miscommunication about what pharmacy carried the medication No excuse to be rude and nasty especially after testing positive for covid this isn’t the first time this person was nasty I will never send my mother there again!!!!

    They charge $600 to look in my ear and sent a script to cvs. Regular physician would have charged $100! Scam!

    They tried to take my blood pressure 3 times and every result came back with false low blood pressure readings, which led to the PA saying that I had to go to the ER. In hindsight, I was amazed that no one there thought of using a different machine to make sure the readings were Indeed, wrong. It took a trip to the ER to discover that my BP was, in fact, quite normal. I recommend that anyone seeking emergency services, go to your nearest ER or another walk in place.

    The person conducting the test was very professional and courteous and the nurse practitioner showed great concern for my health and she was very compassionate . I highly recommend this Urgent Care facility to anyone in need of the medical care they provide!

    The care here at this Northwell Health Urgent Care center was excellent, quick, efficient and thorough. In addition, the place is immaculately clean. Keep up the excellent work to the Provider and all the staff. I love it💖💕 And I still feel the same as the above today, 7/21/23.

    Wish they had quicker times. But overall professional and the girl that took my rapid test had a good hand. It didn't hurt. Make sure to always go check in online and go inside. PA Assistant was good and gave me a quick diagnosis.
