Very nice open trails. Beautiful scenery and a lot of history here. The tour was very informative and worth taking to learn more.

This museum might be small but the battlefield it sits on is quite large. Inside the visitors center you will see artifacts from the French and Indian War. It is well maintained and well kept. It is a reasonable price to learn the history of this site. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and some are dressed in historical costumes. Plenty of parking and public restrooms are available. This is a PA historic and museum commission site.

Plenty of trails to hike, just remember the open field gets really hot in July/August so be prepared and bring extra water

Beautiful trails to walk on, all pretty early. Most trails are large and are covered in small pebbles, there are shoot off trails with the au natural look, smaller. Didn't get to venture off onto those today. Family friendly, including dogs. Will be back again!

A must see in the area! The landscape is beautiful. There are many trails and a meadow you can walk through. The museum is self guided and free, with a short movie explaining what took place there. For $5 a person you can take a golf cart tour with a guide. Well worth it!!

Hiked on a brisk 32°F Saturday afternoon . Did the blue and green paths. Some trails were blocked by down trees but with care you can pass over it. Not many myco forms, but I found these tiny fungi and a lightning-struck tree. I also observed many 🦉 boxes. Muddy and slightly hilly

Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Stopped here to do research for a grad school assignment and was very impressed with the level of knowledge and willingness to help. Also a great place to hike around and see a little history.

Absolutely love visiting bushy run with my 2 girls! The Easter egg hunt this year was so much fun (games and fun inside too!). My oldest really enjoyed going through the museum and learning about the battle. My youngest enjoyed coloring and playing checkers! So much fun! Can’t wait to go back for future events!

Every person at this event was extremely friendly and welcoming. from the parking attendants. Concession stand workers .museum personal and all the reenactors . The reenactors period attire was extremely detailed and takes you back as close as possible to being in that time period as possible. The Reenactment was very realistic and entertaining. People of all ages all had a great time stepping back into time .

Will definitely be going back! I took my family there, and it was an amazing experience. I loved how educated everyone was on the battlefield. They have an 11-14 minute visual video to watch with speaker vibrations, which mimicked the musket fire. It was super neat! I also loved that they had a huge golf cart to take you around the battlefield. We will definitely be making a trip back out there, specifically after nap time for my daughter, lol.

Last night we attended the so called "Ghost Walk"! What a joke this was and I would hope that anyone would not waste the time and money with anything at the Battle field! We had hoped that this event would have been better than the hay ride in the past! It was to be Adults only but that was not the case! Save you money for something real!

Excellent location for car cruise. It appears to have more Vehicles than last year of all kinds. Everyone seem to have a good time checking out memories of Years Gone by and vehicles that are taken care of it and souped up.

260th anniversary reenactment was fantastic. Very happy to see they have allowed these events to continue being put on. Volunteers had parking and crowd under efficient control. Good to see state government reps there and supporting our history.

had THE BEST afternoon here a few weekends ago! Not only was our museum tour extremely insightful, we gained even more knowledge about what happened on this ground with our golf cart tour of the battlefield. Rain held out just for us. Learned so many new things about the french and indian war that I never knew, all thanks to our tour guides. Thousand thanks to everyone here. Will definitely be back for a reenactment

A small scale reenactment of an important battle in the Pontiac wars. A settler village sound with 3 different regiments. We enjoyed.

Sent my 9 year-old grandson to short day camp Colonial experience. It was so well put together and executed. Staff was fabulous and so interesting that and he and his 3 friends that we sent along are eager for next year's experience that will be about Colonial Military life. The grounds are beautiful and rich in historic importance, and, surprisingly close and easy to find! They have all sorts of events including: monthly market, tea events, museum and tours along with the Battle reenactment.

For $5, you get a self-guided walking tour through a very informative and well-curated museum, as well as a guided golf cart tour of the battlefield. The museum director is a great conversationalist and knows his history, and the tour guide we had that drove the golf cart was fun to listen to and told the stories of the battlefield in a very engaging way.
