It's a beautifully set up lounge in Taj Palace Hotel with fine decor and good selection of Teas. Tried the Risheehat Black Tea. The Tea came in a beautiful Tea Tray. Instantly fell in love with the beautifully embroidered Napkin that came in the tray which was matching to the tray mat and the Noritake Tea Cup and Saucer too.. These small details make a luxury space different from a casual one.. There is Christmas decor everywhere and christmas music too !!!

Really nice place to relax and have a great cup of tea. The lounge is located in the lobby of the Taj Palace hotel and it overlooks the pool which makes the ambience really nice. In winter the tables outside on the pool deck are great. Service is good, the biscuits and pastries to accompany tea are tasty. It's expensive but that's to be expected. Looking to have a quick meeting, this is the place. Want to relax and read a book, this is the place.

Nice ambience and service but the prices are crazy! We just paid 3100INR (equivalent to $60AUD) for 5 cups of chai from one small teapot. I know it’s a fancy hotel but how can this be justified? Even the waiter couldn’t keep a straight face when he gave the bill!

Could not have much since we reached at a time when it was midst if Breakfast and Lunch time. Hence the only items were "All Day Meal" which consist of light South Indian dishes such as Dosa etc. Hence could not have much. Otherwise the ambience is very nice. The staff is very informative. On entering premises they inform guests of the charges if one is just sitting without any purchases. Charges are Rs. 1000/- for a period of one hour. This makes one not to sit ideal or hold meetings only but discuss with order placed.

Very nice hotel. I stayed for 2 night. But pool attendant's (on 24 July 2022) attitude is very bad. He is rude and doesn't know how to talk to guest. You should find a better person for the job. He ruined my stay.
