Worst service, no cleaning, no manners, uneducated staff. Cheated me for 4000, booked 4 rooms but given only 2. AC was not working, no cleaning staff, phone not working, washroom was dirty. No water facility and receptionist was rude. Lift got stuck several times. Door was not properly locked in all the rooms. Tv and lights were not in working condition. Bedsheet and matress was very dirty and used, also found hole in it. Not safe for females and totally waste of money. Never go to this hotel.

Avoid this place! The price is too high for what it is. The toilet bowl has not been cleaned and can still see the dirt from other guests. The floor was sticky and dirty. The bedsheets have stains and hair. Cockroaches are very present in this hotel. The breakfast was really not worth it. The hotel staff barely spoke any English and was always busy on their phones. Plus you can hear everything from the lobby (if you're on the 1st floor) and won't be able to sleep. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Close to the airport and near local restaurants. But I wouldn't stay again in this hotel even for free. Of our 1 month backpacking in India, this was one of the worst.

Pathetic hotel to stay. Please don't book a room here. It's better to stay on the footpath. Someone from outside can view your room. You will have a wonderful view inside the room with warm welcome greetings from gangs of cockroaches roaming around the room. AC are kept only for historic views, believe these ACs are not working for decades. Actually this hotel justified their name only "Maharaja". When maharaja (King) left this hotel from that time all the rooms were kept in that pathetic condition. *Note: You will have a free vomiting facility once you visit the bathroom.

Fraud Alert : AVOID Hotel Maharaja Continental and Hotel ROMA DX I was here with my family and friends, we were travelling from Agra to Delhi, a long journey at night, when we reached the hotel, the owner said that the rooms are full, but my elder sister already booked the room, so how can the rooms be full even after booking including an advance payment, so he made us shift in a different hotel which was also owned by him, Hotel Roma DX, few feet away from Hotel Maharaja Continental. So we thought of compromising, so we sent the ladies to check the rooms and washrooms first, and we were shocked at the fact of awfull quality of rooms and dirtiest of washrooms which smelled foul. It was an awfull experience, after travelling a long distance we were exhausted, especially the ladies, we needed to relax and the owner was upto no good. So we asked the owner to settle us at Hotel Maharaja Contenental he refused and started abusing and told 11 of us in the middle of the night to get out. He didn't come face to face, everything was happening on the phone. People were shouting and the situation was escalating, a rough night was upon us. We asked him to refund the booking money he first refused and then told will provide it the next morning, we were not having it, we threatend to complain to police and then after few mins of fighting they gave the money and we moved to a different hotel. Fun fact, some of us were booked for 3 in one room, so we atleast needed 2 beds for 3 people in a single room, but when we asked the staff why there is one bed for 3 people since our requirements were mentioned already? so the staff (HOTEL ROMA DX ) replied, 2 bed means one of the person needs to be sleeping on the floor on a mat. Imagine listening to that after a long journey and in winter season, while I was there it was 7 degree Celsius. We often had a glimpse of police patrolling the area, so it gave us confidence to escalate the situation to a point where they would refund the money. Also not a single hotel in this particular area have rooms which includes its own geyser. So you have to rely on timing mentioned by the staff, for hot water, usually its between 6:30 AM To 12 PM

Hotel Maharaja’s facade is really beautiful! My room at the hotel was also clean, well lit, and properly maintained with all the basic amenities like an LED, clean bedding, a table, and a chair in good condition. The staff members at the hotel were also well mannered and helpful. The washroom was also clean with all the basic toiletries in place. I cherished my time at Hotel Maharaja and I would love to come back to the hotel sometime soon.

β€œMy stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. The bedsheet was filthy, and the overall cleanliness was appalling – the washroom was dirty and lacked hot water. To add to the inconvenience, none of the lifts were functioning during my visit, and I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor, making it incredibly difficult to access. Despite notifying the staff about these issues, there was no proper response or assistance provided, especially with luggage. It was an extremely unpleasant experience, and based on this, I strongly advise against booking this hotel to spare others from such a dreadful stay.”

it's value for money 700 is reasonable for the room, staff members are very polite and helpful.

I had a lavish experience in Hotel Maharaja and that too at an amazing price! The room assigned to me was tidy, spacious, beautiful, and inclusive of furniture like an AC, a clean bed, a cupboard, and an LED. The room’s look and feel were also great, thanks to the low hanging designer lights of the room.My stay at Hotel Maharaja was a pleasant one.

Very bad hotel, this is the first time I've seen a notice in a hotel room saying if anything is lost from your room, hotel authority is not responsible, so deposit your cash, ornaments and valuable things to the hotel authority and get receipt in lieu, like seriously? And our room had no windows, so you can't guess what time of day it is.. Won't suggest to anyone ever.

We have booked this hotel at an emergency. Lift facility isn't available. Staff behaviour is ok. Rooms are ok. Better to opt ac rooms. Anyone can reach New Delhi railway station by walk from here. There are foodstalls around the hotel. Parking is somewhat difficult as it is located on the main road.

High on expectations, cheap on reality :) If you ever come across this hotel, please find another because I had a horrible experience here and wouldn't recommend even a night's stay at all.
