Stayed here for four nights and I love the location. All the drivers know Mohammedpour Road and it's an easy walk to the street. Very lively market at night. Rooftop is comfortable and clean. Toilets were alright. Beds were also comfortable. Really liked that you can get cold fresh water whenever you'd like. It's a chill place, quiet and no music playing late into the night. Many of the other guests were rude however, talking loudly on the phone at 2am in their bed, or unnecessarily leaving the light on late at night. But that isn't the hostel's fault of course. Receptionist was very kind and he put me in touch with the owner who gave me some tips. Would definitely stay here again.

J house is a must for anyone wanting a quieter, friendly and enriching experience in New Delhi. The staff are awesome, the rooms are super clean. This area is not flooded with tourists which is nice. My only notes - the laundry service is a little pricey but I am happy to give money to a good cause.

Good experience. Stayed there on experimental basis. They provide good and clean accommodation except for a little bit of bathroom smell seeping into the dormitory during the fag end of the second week of my stay. However the staff is extremely courteous and helpful in ensuring your comfort. They clean the rooms multiple times in a day. Rooms and dorm have to be pre-booked and doesn’t have a cancellation policy, which I found was the only drawback. However they provide the dorm at extremely cheap rates which compensate for that. Everything you need is available in the near vicinity and helps you relax a great deal. The effectiveness of the AC in the waiting area is under question as that is the only place where AC is on during the day. Ensure you get a lower berth in the dorm as the air circulation from the fan doesn’t reach the top berth. Overall a good experience and one of the best in Delhi.

Only stayed there less than 12h but within 20min from airport, easy to find and staff very helpful. Glad we went with this option as many accommodations near the airport within that price range have awful reviews and some are scams. Room was spacious and clean, nice smell and two fans both working well and not very loud. Also had AC but we didn’t need it so can’t review it. Internet working well. There’s a local market nearby. They have drinking water for free, can ask for iron and rooftop quite nice and relaxing after a long day.

Stayed here almost 3 years ago and was the only one in my room(yay!) I had the peace and quiet ness after traveling for 24hrs. This hostel is not located in a walking district area....it is located in a local area.

The location of the hotel is a bit off. But the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The ginger tea is good here. Room punch/5 is a really huge room with bed, table, chair, mirrors and even hair dryer. They provide iron box and iron stand for free on need basis. This area has good and genuine leather goods if you want to purchase.

Jugaad is an amazing place for a first touch down in India or even a long stay. People from all over the world meet here, chill out, talk and exchange travel plans. You feel immediately welcomed by the friendly staff that is ready to help you with whatever you need. The location is great as there are little shops and a super market just down on the street. Some delicious Dhabas are around the corner. I felt like welcomed in a family and enjoyed my stay to the max - thanks to the whole Jugaad team

Loved the roof top views! They make you fall in love with Delhi, as does the friendly staff! The huge private room was its own insulated world and could have been in any fancy B&B anywhere. Can’t wait to return!

I stayed at JHouse for two nights while in Delhi and it’s an amazing place! They have cultivated a wonderful community of travelers from around the world. Plus, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to give food and tourist recommendations. This is THE hostel to stay at in Delhi.

Staff behaviour is not at all good. You have to ask them each time if you want to go out/in the hostel. This hostel is on 4th floor and lift goes till 3rd floor. They won’t even turn on the AC even if it is required & would give you silly reasons. (The only objective would be to save on cost) They don’t provide snacks (Maggie, tea, coffee ) which you would get in most of the hostels. Don’t have any good options near by for food. Will never visit here again even if they don’t charge anything. Not recommended.

Highly recommend. We stayed here 3 days and the staff very friendly and supportive. Even it is a small place they manage their space very nicely. Room was spacious. We could spent our time freely. Even after checking out they kept our bags safely once our work done at outside. I am very happy with their service.

Perfect place to stay for a few days for solo travellers. There are 10 people in a room if you get the dorm so getting sleep is a little difficult with people snoring, but all the facilities provided are really good for the price. The decor is beautiful and bathrooms are clean. Most of all the staff is very supportive and nice.

Stayed for a week here. Good hostel and great staff. There is one common room(tv and books) and terrace (with pretty good space and nice gardening) where you can do your work or just chill with the other hostelers. There is no food option other than breakfast at the moment, so you have to either order your food online or cook your food in the common kitchen.

I booked hostel dormitory for 3 nights. This was my first hostel experience. Well I had the opportunity to meet different people from different countries. It was a great time there and I felt comfortable. Not far from Munirka metro station and to the airport. From the receptionist to the host everyone very polite and helpful and so were the guest. Overall a wonderful experience. Thankyou. Hope to be there again sometime.

I cannot do justice to my experience by any review. 3 amazing nights in a hostel in a city I once called home, but I met such incredible people from all backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. Amazing conversations, such great hospitality, very safe and just, I hope to visit Jhouse super soon! Go for it!

“Sweetest stay” I booked here for 1 night and ended up staying for 2 weeks. At the first go, my impression was not good, with dirty surroundings around the building. But once I was inside, I fell in love with J house. Specially, the terrace is superb. The staffs are awesome too. I don't know why all the good travellers end up in here, made some lifetime friends around the globe. However, for the new traveller, you can go to Bhikaji Metro for traveling inside Delhi, which is 950m from the location. You can have good food near metro station. You can go to Nazeer Delicacies for halal food which is also very close. For sure, I am staying in J house everytime I visit Delhi.

JHouse Hostel is a budget-friendly accommodation option situated in the bustling city of Delhi. The hostel is located in the trendy neighborhood of Hauz Khas, which is known for its lively nightlife and hip cafes. The hostel offers both private and dormitory-style rooms, which are clean and comfortable. The dorms are spacious and come with individual lockers and reading lights for each bed. The bathrooms are shared but well-maintained, with hot water available 24/7. The private rooms are also nicely furnished and offer a comfortable stay for those looking for a bit more privacy. The hostel has a common room where guests can hang out and relax. The room is equipped with comfortable seating, a TV, and a collection of books and board games. The hostel also has a kitchenette where guests can prepare their meals and a rooftop terrace where they can enjoy the stunning views of the city. The staff at JHouse Hostel is friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any queries or concerns. They also organize various events and activities, such as movie nights, walking tours, and pub crawls, which provide an excellent opportunity for guests to socialize and meet fellow travelers. Overall, JHouse Hostel is a great option for budget travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Delhi. The hostel's location, amenities, and friendly staff make it an excellent choice for those exploring the city.

I've stayed here multiple times and it's always been a great experience. The staff is really friendly and helpful especially Sapan and Ujjwal who are always willing to help out. The hostel is clean and quiet, with a really cool rooftop for relaxing. Plus, the entrance is gated, so it's very secure. Location-wise, there isn't a ton to do or see in the area, and it's a bit far from the city center. However, it's close to a lot of embassies

Such an amazing hostel! Was super clean, 3 bathrooms in one room, comfy beds, super cool living spaces with roof terrace and swinging chairs/ hammocks and such a kind team behind the desk. They made us drinks and helped us order food very late at night and they just had a very nice vibe about them. It’s also in a cool area of Delhi. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms and sheets, good price, really nice rooftop space. Friendly staff, decent location if you're wanting to escape the usual mess of Paharganj. Only downside to the private room we booked was the lack of any windows/natural light.

Perfect for my first 2 nights in Delhi. Spacious and clean room with hot water, on the building roof. Great roof terace, good breakfast. Nice people that help you with activities and what to do. I felt really safe her, the building is good and the area nice to walk around. 10min tuk tuk to many great places. 20min from the airport, i could arrive late at night and the Jhouse arranged a taxi pick up for me

The place is just as it looks in the pictures. This was my second stay at this place and I absolutely loved it. Swapan Bhaiya (the caretaker) is really welcoming and always there to help. He makes amazing Maggie and Coffee. Cleanliness and Hospitality are the best part about this place.

Cozy and lively atmosphere. Clean and comfortable dorm. Staff is strict about rules as social place yet helpful and have maintained the property really well. Rooftop is the best part at anytime of the day and no TV so you can have a disconnected time. A bit tricky to find at first but overall loved the experience and stay. Good place to be if you need to catch a flight.

Best place (also safest) to stay for the price, spent 2 nights here, was an amazing experience. Vasu and Sapan bhaiya are very helpful. TIP- If you are visiting for the first time please do understand about reaching the location beforehand. They have a lovely terrace area to sit& chill and amazing tourists visiting this places again and again sharing thier travel stories.

Probably the cleanest hostel I have stayed at in India. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere up on the roof terrace. Also fantastic breakfast provided in the morning. And being located next to a Metro station was a bonus, to either get there from the airport or to explore Delhi. Highly recommended!!!

Jugaad hostel is a good affordable place, it had an open kitchen which I liked a lot i got good value for money I paid 600 per day and stayed for 2 days, the place had lots of foreign travellers with whom I had good conversations. The open terrace is a good place to chill and to have coffee. The place is secure and you dont have to worry about your belongings but still I would recommend you to bring your own lock to ensure the safety of your belongings. I gave it 4 stars because of the late check out fee that was collected from me even though I informed then early that I am on my way and will be checking out as soon as i reach the place and they didn't give any bill. And I will also recommend kitchen staff to wear gloves during food preparation time.

My stay at Jugaad hostels was very memorable. First the Host Mr. Salman, very friendly, humble and simple person. He made me feel so comfortable, that i never felt it was my first time. Second the other staff members, they are very friendly, cooperative and very helpful. Third the place, it's a home away from home. Very neat, clean and lovely ambience. I have made up my mind that, if i am traveling to Delhi, then my stay is always going to be here and I will strongly recommend my family and friends too. Thank Jugaad crew for being a wonderful host. Hope to see you guys soon. All the best and keep up the great work. CHEERS.... and thank you once again.

This is my first hostel experience and this place has made it amazing. The hostel overall has a good vibe with some good travelling community (when I visited). The caretaker Sapan have prepared a decent and filling breakfast. He is nimble and multi-dexterous. But the only downside is, it is located in a very closely packed street not it may be little difficult to find.

Staff - Sapan Bhaia is the most welcoming and cheerful caretaker I've seen in a hostel. The owner(who's a great storyteller and amazing host) took all the guests out for a lovely dinner on my first night here. Clean and Hygienic - The washroom and Dorms are well maintained. The sheets are regularly cleaned. The water heater is available and works well. Kitchen is available with basic necessities as well. The rooftop is a great place to chill and relax. Overall, the hospitality staff will go above and beyond to provide an amazing experience.

This was my second visit to J House, having stayed in 2016 in my first trip to India with a friend. I remember feeling very comfortable and really enjoying my time here, so I rebooked, this time travelling alone. The hosts and staff are so helpful and quick to respond. I had a taxi arranged through the hostel to meet me at the airport, which was very smooth and easy. I met really lovely people and went out for dinner and breakfast in groups as well as exploring Delhi. It’s a very sociable hostel and the staff support that, ensuring solo travellers find people to hang out with. I cannot recommend it enough! Although a bit out of the centre at the city, I actually think this is better as it’s more residential and chilled in the area around the hostel. There are still really good food places nearby and all the tourist attractions can easily be visited by metro or tuk tuk (200-250 rupee approx to get to central New Delhi) I will be back to stay again before flying home :) Everything was clean and the roof terrace is a lovely place to sit.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a private room on a solo trip... Delhi was my first taste of india and the hosts at Jhostel made it more palatable while I adjusted to the culture and got my bearings. Location is great... its in a more relaxed/ upscale area of Delhi thats closer to the airport and father from the chaos of old Delhi. Hosts were super helpful and assisted with navigating the city, finding places to eat and general travel tips. Good value, good service, good location and good vibes. Would stay here again 10/10

    1. Rooms For me, rooms should have windows we stayed in room no 2 which didn't have window because of which it feels bit suffocating. 2. Service You ask for a thing and you get it within minutes I was very happy with the service provided by J House. When we reached the lift wasn't working the helper carried our bags to 4th floor and repaired the lift in next 10 mins. 3. Food Everything is available within the building vicinity. You get down and get fruits vegetables even a cobbler. Swiggy, Zomato and local shops provide home delivery of food. All the main points of attraction are within 10-15 min reach via auto. 4. Transportation Centrally located, we use to get autos standing near our building after bargaining in case ola uber cancels your ride or you are not getting auto from ola/uber. Note: This is a very heavily populated area with chawl and residential buildings
