This homestay hotel is in great place to spend overnight stay. The reason is: 1. Good locality but difficult to trace from road untill you ask 3 -4 persons. 2. Rooms are having all facilities but heavily congested so that if you open up your suitcase, no place for walking. 3. Food and breakfast is very delicious but limited choice. 4. Staffs are very courtesious but slow to respond. 5. You will get no phone connectivity inside tge room, but wifi speed is good. 6. No emergency evacuation plan in place as passages are small. No elevators. 7. But still you will enjoy the ambiance as it is an old establishment and no structural modification is possible, you would start loving the rooms for sitback and enjoy the chill.

I stayed here for one night. I must say the property is good. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. It's a homestay. So you get good hospitality. Initially you may not be able to locate it as it is situated in a residential area. Looking at the front door you will know this is the place. You can easily reach the Karol Bagh Metro.

Very pleasant and homely feel to stay as if it look like a Home Stay at Delhi. I met MD Mr. C P Singh a very humble person. Their Staff Mr. Abishek & Mr. Kushal were very friendly and helpful. Based on our request they arranged a nice cab to pickup us at Delhi Airport so that we can easily reached their hotel without any diffculty Their house keeping and laundry services are so good. Complimentary break fast is so good and very tasty. Hotel room tariff is at very affordable rates and nice ambience. Based on all these true facts and our experience I would very strongly recommend others to stay here. We are all 101% happy while we stayed.

The Wood Castle Hotel is in a residential area of Delhi. The neighborhood is delightful with many restaurants and shops to choose from and a different vibe than the more touristy areas of the city. There wasn't the constant harrassment of street vendors and beggars, and we were able to stroll around the area and enjoy the evening. It gave us a different feeling of Delhi than we had experienced in the past. When we arrived, we were welcomed with tea and biscuits. The room was spacious and attractive with nice amenities. They were helpful in arranging transportation for our 6:00 AM flight. Eventhough the provided breakfast didn't start until well after our departure, they sent toast and juice to our room before we left. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is great as the Rajendra Place metro station is just 500 metres walk( more or less) and the Channa Market is a nice for easy and inexpensive fares. The staff is polite and helpful and listen to everything. The manager is also great. Just don't like their food proportions and the price. Food is good but overpriced. Their Egg curry is great though. You can also get complimentary breakfast if you contact with the owner before booking. Simply aesthetic with a touch of gaudy luxury but great experience overall.

Very nice and affordable hotel. All staff is very attentive and helpful. Room size is slightly small but housekeeping and other amenities were on point. Food was also good. Only downside are lack of lift and no window view, but it didn't bother me much.

One of the best budget hotels in Karol Bagh...They don't have much eating options but not to worry because a good Market with lots of options is just at walking distance...Mr kushal is always there to help

Nice decent cosy place in the heart of New Delhi run by a very friendly owner. Have stayed at many hotels in Delhi and usually they all try to provide the best in limited resources available to them.. but this one had some points extra.. The washroom fittings, hot and cold water and the homely food that they provide...makes them special.. Best luck and hope they maintain the rooms and services...

I surfed the reviews of a lot of hotels before zeroing in for Wood Castle.I was damn sure that everything will be perfect as very rare negative feedback was there on the net about this hotel.Upon arrival,I was surprised to see that there was no lift at all in the hotel and we were assigned room at the third floor. That's too many stairs..steep ones🥲. I asked for a room change and the person asked us to wait for some time.We waited and waited...just to be informed that the room can't be changed. The room size for the super deluxe category is very very small. No outside view at all. There was no bedsheet change, towel change after first day. But there were some positives as well: 1. Khushal ji was cooperative and helped us several times 2. Location is pretty nice 3. Hot water available 4. All TV channels available

I came to Delhi from France for tourism and finally found a good hotel, the Wood Castle! A truly comforting hotel. Here, they aim for the excellence of a luxury hotel while maintaining the intimacy of a guesthouse. Located in a charming and lively neighborhood. The quality of the rooms is impeccable: they are comfortable, clean, with modern bathroom ( toothbrush, soap, shampoo etc. just like a luxury hotel) The management is efficient and understanding, especially Khushal, who was very attentive. A big thank you to Mr. Kamal for creating this unique place in Delhi!

This is my third time stay at Wood Castle and it's simply amazing. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is very co-operative. I personally suggest to stay with Wood Castle for your Delhi trip. It's just 500 meter from Karol Bagh metro station. You will get amenities similar to 3-4* hotels.

We spent 3 nights and it was very comfortable. The rooms had AC, big bathrooms with hot shower, kind staff and good breakfast. They called us when our breakfast was ready and arranged a lunch box for us. The neighborhood looks like an Indian street but we felt safe at the night.

This hotel is a great value. We paid 2500 rupees. The food was excellent but they underestimated its arrival time; 15 minutes turned into 30. The hotel is small and so the staff cares greatly for the quality of your stay. It is clean and quaint with a nice ambiance. After taking a shower the bathroom smelled somewhat of sewage, but it's in Delhi so everything smells of sewage. My wife was more critical of this; I wanted to give five stars. All other hotels near the embassies are very expensive. We chose this one because it was reasonably close, and were were pleased to discover a sea of taxis willing to take us to the embassy, even at dawn.

This is a hidden gem , and it is truly hidden n the sense that you might need some time to locate it. Call the hotel before reaching otherwise your uber might drop you at wrong location . Food is great. Clean and service oriented. Enjoyed shopping in karol baug market . And yes there is no lift, but it didn't matter , the bellboy will help you carry luggage . Remember to tip them .

Location is good. Rooms are small and not with good ventilation. Had hard time in locating it. Breakfast provided was below average. It is hotel inside residential area. There are much better hotels nearby.
