2/5 Indian women a. 1 year ago on Google
So,
this
was
my
second
visit
to
Dharampura
haveli.
The
first
time
it
was
before
covid,
and
this
time
last
week.
First
time,
was
an
amazing
experience,
the
food
was
great,
the
ambience
was
great,
we
had
visited
on
a
weekend
and
saw
a
dance
performance.
And
because
of
that
I
planned
a
dinner
with
my
entire
family,
we
were
6
and
3
kids.
Out
of
which
2
were
infants.
So,
I
made
an
advanced
booking
for
6th
September,
3
days
prior;
I
was
told
that
I
am
booked
in
the
dinner
hall.
So
we
accomplished
the
uphill
task
of
reaching
Haveli,
amidst
bad
traffic
jam
and
extorting
rikshaw
and
auto
walas...
and
to
our
surprise,
there
was
a
private
event
and
we
were
seated
in
the
open
area
in
front
of
a
huge
table
fan.
Which
was
so
loud
that
we
couldn't
hear
each
other.
After
a
few
minutes,
the
infants
started
creating
ruckus
because
it
was
hot
and
humid...
even
we
were
using
the
tissue
papers
to
wipe
our
sweat.
And
Haveli
was
kind
enough
to
designate
1
server/waiter
to
us.
So
you
can
imagine
the
misery
of
the
poor
guy
who
had
to
take
orders,
serve,
run
around
and
provide
a
table
of
6
adults
and
3
children.
I
would
give
the
boy
a
5
star
for
being
so
persistent.
I
was
very
disappointed,
because
I
had
told
my
parents
that
the
interiors
were
great,
you
can
take
pictures
inside,
they
have
kind
of
maintained
the
old
structure,
there
is
a
little
mughal
painting
room
with
a
chair...
but...
all
of
that
was
inaccessible
because
of
the
private
party
going
on.
The
AC
sitting
area
and
everything
in
it
was
off
limits
to
us.
And
also
the
waiters,
because
all
of
them
were
busy
serving
them.
Then
I
hoped
to
see
at
least
a
dance
performance,
which
to
our
disappointment
was
only
a
weekend
thing.
Since
we
reached
around
9,
(thanks
to
the
jam
and
no
parking
place
in
chandni
chowk),
we
were
hurried
to
eat
and
order
as
soon
as
possible
because
the
kitchen
will
close
at
10:30.
And
only
because
of
that
when
we
went
to
the
terrace,
the
waiter
came
and
informed
us
that
starters
has
been
kept
on
the
table,
so
we
should
go
and
eat
quickly.
So
with
irritated
kids,
heat,
humidity,
hot
food,
loud
fan,
cheering
noises
of
the
private
party,
a
pesky
waiter,
no
dance
performance,
no
proper
terrace
viewing
and
inaccessible
dining
hall,
we
ended
up
paying
22k.
So,
before
you
go
to
Haveli
1)
confirm
if
they
have
a
private
event,
if
they
do,
DON'T
GO.
2)
take
a
booking
only
in
AC
hall
3)
visit
during
7-8
pm
to
have
a
peaceful
eating
experience
(like
I
had
last
time)
4)
confirm
when
they
will
have
a
dance
performance.
I
was
highly
disappointed
in
this
visit...
I
hoped
that
they
would
have
told
me
about
a
private
event,
and
even
if
their
private
event
was
planned
after
my
booking,
they
should
have
reserved
my
table
matter
what.
No
body
likes
to
pay
a
bomb
and
sit
in
heat
and
humidity,
with
a
"kharrata"
fan
on
our
heads,
so
that
we
can't
hear
each
other.
I
can't
blame
the
kids
for
being
fussy,
because
it
was
getting
unbearable
for
us
adults
too...
