While this Bengali restaurant offered a tantalizing array of flavors, the overall experience was marred by lackluster service and a subpar ambiance. The slow and inattentive staff detracted from the enjoyment of the delicious dishes, and the dated decor did little to create a welcoming atmosphere. Despite the culinary highlights, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.

My Swiggy order no. 112961948983 Date 25-08-2021. Item name : Bengali Non Veg Thali Pros : Not found any. Cons: 1) Only 247 garms of rice was sent. No roti was sent. I was totally hungry after the meal. The restaurant should send atleast 500 grams of rice or 250 grams rice and some roti. 2) The resturant has made it mandatory to add minimum Rs 10 extra Complimentary items to please the order. Without adding it you can't place the order. 3) The resturant is applying aditional packing charge and GST at the payment page. Most resturant on swiggy incude the packing charge in listing price and aditional packing charge and GST not applicable on payment page. Only delivery charge is added in payment page by most resturants. 4) The wight of the piece of fish was about 50 garms which is ok but the weight of the actual fish was less than 1 Kg. So the fish was very unststy. The restaurant should use fish of 2.5 Kg or higher to make tasty fish curry. Conclusion : After paying more than Rs 200 I was totally hungry. The restaurant should increase the amount of rice if it want to survive in the market.

Finding a good Bengali restaurant without getting a hole in the pocket is a task in Delhi. After having very good experiences in Oh Calcutta and City of Joy, I was a bit sceptical about trying a new Bengali restaurant which seemed to be cheaper. But I was not at all disappointed, rather I am eagerly waiting to visit this place again. Its a very small place with seating capacity around 10, but the food was just fatafati. Also the service was very good. When I visited about 4 months ago they had plans to shift to a new location with a bigger space. Not sure if they have shifted to a bigger and better place but I would surely love to see this restaurant stand out among the rest.

Order for non veg premium thali , the worst I have ever had received on Zomato, rice was ice cold , the rest of the food was Lil warm but when I opened to have the sorse bata fish it was so so salty that I had to throw , recommend PPL do not order online I don't know how they serve in the restaurant but m never having it again ,

There are no Bengali cooks. The cook dosent know the name of the dish they are preparing. God help the customers on this online dining

Worst food. Old stale food. It all smelled. We couldn't eat at all. The fish felt old. No taste at all. No quantity also. Tasteless useless don't waste money at all. We threw all food. Somehow ate rice as we were hungry rest we threw it all. Pic attached.

The food used to be good and had the essence of West Bengal when we ordered it for the first time. Apparently, we ordered again one SPECIAL Non Veg Thali and one Veg Thali (over phone). Now these guys took total advantage of this opportunity. MANAGEMENT and SERVICES: There was no bill of the food when it was delivered (not even a rough paper with the price estimates of the ordered food items). They charged way more what was mentioned on their MENU (ZOMATO), saying prices are subjected to change without any prior notice. Delivery time was pretty BAD too. FOOD: They promised to give 3 types of bhajas (fries) in their Special NON VEG THALI. But they stuffed it all in the same packet (You can see it in the picture, that square shaped packet). The DAAL tasted and looked like the daal people serve in government hostels (floating onions in yellow protein water), very healthy btw #sarcastic. Fish and Chicken were made of same masala, tasted exactly the same. We had one RASGULLAH wrapped up in polythene which got painted in masala, curry oil and daal. Oh one more thing, they will provide complimentary PAPAD (which is already mentioned in their MENU, just to make you feel that your order is special). Spoiled our LUNCH. Worst services EVER.

Proper authentic bengali taste in every food, the most beautiful part is their combination in thali. The taste of food makes you feel like you are in Kolkata. In short for Bengalis it's " Home away from Home"
