It's a tavern, where you can bring your own liquor (but has to be purchased from Punjab only). The food is good, but the service is late, usually crowded in the evening. They have a small separated section for females. It has indoor and open outdoor seating. We often visit there. Their butter chicken is awesome and a must try dish.

This used to be a very popular place serving delicious non veg food according to one of my local vegetarian friends. I tried the veg options I.e crispy mushroom and malai soya chaap which were really delicious. Also, their quantity is a lot considering the fact that we ordered only half of each item. It’s not really a family place or a place to take kids because it’s next to a wine shop and mostly crowded by people who’ve come to pick up alcohol or those having a drink and wants some snacks to go with it. But one can always take away. I liked the taste and would like to get food packed again, when I happen to visit Chandigarh. Only next time I’d prefer to try their non veg options.

Jugnu is famous for the legendary lemon fish & lemon chicken. Must try the Afghani chicken and butter chicken with butter garlic nan. You can BYOB and enjoy the delicious snacks.

The best place to go when you wanna enjoy your drinks.The dishes made by their chefs are so yummy.....would say you will go again and again.I tried Omlette chicken roll and the taste was so delicious...You will get a taste of all spices....Another thing I tried was lemon fish I really loved it so much..Super delicious and so yummy....And at last I got to taste a spoon of mint pan jelly that was also so delicious. This place is an excellent option for drinking and eating both. We took a bottle of whiskey from theka at very reasonable rates and then ordered food from Jugnu. We tried their fried corn, peanut masala, mushroom duplex (which was excellent. Highly recommended) and chicken Afghani which was also great. You can also order an angeethi if you are feeling too cold.

Jugnu snacks is one of the most under-rated and obscure places in Mohali. They have the best seating atmosphere, really good food and really good service. People who do not drink can also come here and enjoy really well made food. They have also made a special space for couples and families if they do not feel comfortable in the main space. It is truly a delight. Best for pleasant weather evenings. For people who like to be in open air restaurants. The pricing is very reasonable. They also provide coal fire (angithi) to keep warm for winter evenings. Must try: peanut masala, crispy corn, mushroom duplex, Afghani chicken, garlic naan, masala papad.

The place and the ambience is awesome... They have a separate sitting place for family and female friends, doors of which are gaurded by bouncers. I at tandoori chicken, peanut masala, afgani soya.. All three were very tasty but the finger licking is their special daal... They allow you to carry Alcohol inside however not carrying the chandigarh stamped bottle. Huge parking space is also an additional advantage
